Rachamankha: "Perfect honeymoon hotel"
"We stayed here during our honeymoon in June 2015 and it was amazing, we loved every minute The hotel is situated in its own grounds so was very quiet and relaxing, when we were at the pool we were the only people so it was like having our own private pool The room was lovely and the bed was comfy, the decor was modern but traditional at the same time, also flip flops, umbrellas are provided The shower was powerful and the Molton brown toiletries were a nice touch Whilst we were here we had a tasting meal and the food was delicious, the coriander salad was amazing, we also had a traditional Thai massage which was great and set the relaxing tone for our stay here The hotel is within walking distance to the town and the temples near by but you can just jump in a Tuk Tuk if you fancy, by the restaurant they have little business cards with a map on them incase your driver isn't sure where to go so I just kept this in my purse whilst out and about I would night recommend going to the elephant nature park of staying in Chiang mai, it was the highlight of our trip"Rachamankha: "Elegant & beautiful, a pretty perfect south-east Asia hotel"
Two years ago I had dinner here after stumbling across it when wandering round the old town of Chiang Mai. I immediately had hotel envy and as soon as I decided to come back to CM I knew I had to stay here. I was not disappointed. The beautiful courtyards unfold before you, each one shady and alluring, housing antique furniture and prints down the side galleries, and with frangipanis and palm trees dotting the central space, one of them enclosing a lovely quiet pool, another an exquisite library. This is the kind of building you often find yourself paying to wander round, to stay here was a privilege and I loved it. Every detail here was considered and I would definitely recommend it. My only comment to the owners is that the bathrooms need some love and attention, compared to everything else it felt shabby (but in fact, it was absolutely fine and with lovely Molton Brown toiletries - it just didn't live up to the quality of the rest of the experience). Location-wise it's also great, down a small back street inside the old city walls and a five minute walk from the main temple complex and one end of the night market. I was sad to leave, you'll be delighted to arrive.Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "a Charming and nostalgic elegant retreat in Penang"
"This is my 3rd stay at Cheong Fatt Tze in 10 years Not only the building is beautifully restored and maintained, but a lot of efforts have been put to improve comfort in the rooms (new refurbished) and facilities (new garden and pool , new bar...) The Manager Daniel has done a great job with him team for attention to service and friendliness Impressive improvements. congratulations to all... We will be back!"Locavore: "Simply amazing"
Off to Locavore with a friend who. Had been twice before ,no clues given but just told it would be stunning ......Well how fantastic is this restaurant....OMG ...have eaten at Sepia in Sydney and Vue de Monde in Melbourne....Need I say any more ,but I will ......From the moment you arrive till you leave its a fantastic theatre.of food ,presented in the most artistic way .every dish seems to arrive with great flourish and a chef to explain what your about to taste ........I Don't know if the food is created for each plate ,jug, bowl, etc or they are created for the food ,But such a amazing collection I'd like to take each piece home with me ....Won't talk about the food or the wines as I feel you have to experience it for yourself.....To finish ,Great attentive team members, fantastic food ,casual relaxed decor..So next time your in Ubud it's a must ...So good going back on Saturday !!!!!! Does that tell you all .Reverie Siam: "Best hotel in Pai – great design. Superb breakfast"
"This is by far the best hotel in Pai. Beautifully designed with quirky touches. The restaurant is voted the best in Pai - but isn't actually very good. However, the breakfast is sublime and staff incredible. The main swimming pool is lovely and relaxing, the 'riverside bar' is a waste of time so just head straight out and explore the unique Pai - it's what you are here for afterall? We had room / bungalow 8 which was gorgeous but a little dark, I would have liked to see another, brighter room. That said, really comfy bed and the bathroom with Jacuzzi is fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel!"Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Book in for Lunch and tour"
"we came for the tour only (not hotel guests) but saw the sign for a well priced lunch in the dining room. At 65rbs is was fabulous. Setting, history and fusion of Asian and western flavours on the menu. An unexpected delight in hot weather tourism. ring prior as hear it is popular with cruise boat patrons."Villa Song Saigon: "A Perfect End to a Vacation"
Often at the end of a trip, I return home needing a real vacation. However, after a month of travel from Hanoi to Saigon, a three-day stay at the Villa Song was the ideal way to savor the Vietnam experience. The natural beauty of the surroundings is enhanced by the attention to detail in the selection of furnishings and finishes in the rooms and public spaces. I grudgingly left the domed parlor room on my art suite to enjoy meals at the waterside restaurant. Most important, however, is the air of serenity reinforced by Yega (the manager), whose inherent calm manner and desire to please made this the perfect end to a vacation. The Apsara Rive Droite: "Beautiful decorations"
We really enjoy our stay here. The decoration is so lovely and beautiful from the lobby to the garden and inside the room. Colorful, peaceful and very relaxing atmosphere. Staff is friendly and helpful with smiling everytimeSEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Fantastic fusion fare – beautiful atmosphere"
Our party was treated to a special menu that was just fantastic. Presentation was first class, service excellent and the setting is just beautiful.Reverie Siam: "Great botique hotel"
Great place to enjoy and relax, far from the town center but offers free on call tuk tuks all day long to and from the town center. Rooms are specious with amazing design. The staff is helpful and friendly. Nice breakfest- you get to choose one of 6-7 egg plates and one of 4 sweet dishes.
