Supanniga Eating Room: "Superb"

Found through Time Out and it was a great shout. Excellent food in a small and modern restaurant with a nice vibe. Excellent staff and importantly great flavour to the food including a wonderful crab meat curry.

Amata Lanna: "Beautiful Amata Lanna"

Amazing staff. Very poilte and helpful. Hotel has bikes to ride to the city and other helpful items such as umbrellas. Hotel is very peaceful and spa like with beautiful wooden features. Delicious breakfast. Well worth the price. Would highly recommend!

Tugu Lombok: "Paradiso"

This place stunned me. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. The staff was great and very helpful. Every single thing I ate at the resort was a total culinary pleasure. Breakfast on the beach, candlelit dinner on the rooftop, fresh juice by the pool. We went in the down season and it meant that we felt basically alone. Our room and private pool were so enchanting and the recovered and traditional artwork all over the resort really makes this place something special. Probably one of my favourite places I've ever stayed if you just want to escape. There is also a number of interesting things to do around the resort like visiting the Gili Islands or the volcano. A++

Summertime Villa: "Beyond all expectations"

"What a treat to stay at Summertime for Christmas and the New Year. The house lives up to all the expectations of their website and more. So much space and beautifully maintained. Great pool just the right temperature to cool down or to do laps. Excellent house staff looked after all our needs and produced delicious meals when we stayed in including an excellent Goan Christmas dinner and lobster for New Years Eve. Located very conveniently for accessing the coastal strip but far enough away to feel like an oasis away from the hustle and bustle. Hans and Sucheta the owners are lovely people and great hosts. They took us out for an evening cruise upriver which was a lot of fun. Thank you for everything."

Inle Princess Resort: "einfach traumhaft"

"Das IPR liegt im Norden des Sees im ""Schilf""-Gürtel versteckt. Dadurch erreicht der Motorenlärm der ab 7h über den See knatternden Langbote das Hotel nur noch gedämpft. Die Boote für die eigenen Gäste müssen ca. 150m vor dem Hotel den Motor abstellen und ein Einbeinruderer steigt zu. Die Anlage ist mit viel Geschmack und Liebe in einem wunderschönen Garten erbaut worden und in sehr gutem Zustand. Die Mahlzeiten auf der Terrasse des Restaurants sind ein optischer und lukullischer Genuß, die Freundlichkeit des Personals, wie übrigens fast überall in Myanmar, eine Freude. Wer nach Tagen ohne viel (eigene) Bewegung mal so richtig durchgeknetet werden will, sollte sich die burmesische Massage, die im schönen Badehaus angeboten wird, gönnen."

The cuisine is delicate, the prices are right, very caring staff. Every Thursday night, traditional dance (do not miss) you have 1 minute walk to the Batu Bolong beach for those learning to surf, waves in the morning and evening are perfect to do again!

Satri House: "Super relaxing"

Very comfortable rooms and good location. Service is impeccable and the whole setting is extremely relaxing. The staff are very helpful for everything and the breakfast is superb, unique and very colonial. Wonderful swimming pool too. Highly recommend it.

Sea Dance Resort: "The Rocks NY"

"This was our 4th visit to Sea Dance in two years , living close by makes this our favourite choice for a short break. Poy and his team never cease to amaze us , from the moment we arrive we feel like we are home again. The food is second to none from beautiful breakfasts to lazy Sunday brunch there is something to suit all. The Villas are beautiful and allow you to have your own place to relax or you can join others by the pool that nestles by the sea. We are already planning our next trip Thank you to the whole team at Sea Dance and see you soon"

Arumdalu: "Calming Escape from Urban Life"

"If you ever find yourself in a sea-tuation in need for a peaceful green retreat and a doze of Vitamin Sea, then the answer you're looking for is Arumdalu Private Resort in Belitung. My first-ever trip to Belitung and Arumdalu surpassed all my expectations of a private resort in a small developing island- less known than Bali. We stayed a total of three days and two nights. Absolutely ah-ma-zing! Throughout our stay, the staff members are all very friendly, extremely polite, and offer helpful services 24/7. On my very first night, we were having trouble with the wifi connection from our multiple devices. It was past midnight when I called the front desk for assistance. The receptionist assisted us for a long time over the phone and maintained his professionalism all throughout. We were very thankful for his patience and kindness. The whole facility is really gorgeous, with beautiful architectural details and greenery. Everything seems to be thoughtfully designed and managed for the sole purpose of comfort and privacy. This place offers absolute privacy (underlined and bolded.) On top of its general secluded location and the private beach, each villa is designed with complete privacy in mind: gated entrance, dense greenery as partitions between villas, and a personal swimming pool. There is also a sense of exclusivity through minimal interaction with the staff on daily basis. For instance, there is no specific timeframe for room cleaning service and the staff wouldn't knock on your door to clean up your space. Everything is only a phone call away. How convenient! Another highlight is ‘Sahang Beachfront’ restaurant. The restaurant evokes a strong cozy ambiance. The wooden glassed space with home-styled table decorations creates an extremely familiar intimacy. The veggies and fruits used as ingredients are organically grown and freshly picked from in their own garden. Bottom-line: the food here is worth the calories to satisfy your palate. Personal side note, as an architect that values design and craftsmanship as well as an avid believer of living a sustainable lifestyle, I feel an overwhelming sense of satisfaction staying in a resort that proactively shows and promotes its core values of their thoughtful quality design and eco-friendliness. Oh! Did I mention that I saw 6 dolphins by the shore while waiting for sunrise? Such a therapeutic comfort. Personally recommend Arumdalu to those seeking for a calming luxurious natural escape from urban life Stayed February 2017, traveled with family"

Manda De Laos: "Not to be missed"

"We were staying nearby and saw that Manda de Laos had a good rating so we decided to try it and what a pleasant surprise it was! Let me start by the service which was superb! The waiter took the time to take us through the different dishes and explaining them to us! The setting is out of this world, i don't think many restaurants can beat such a romantic setting! The food is extremely tasty triggering every single taste bud I have! All in a superb experience not to be missed"
