Review by: Anthony T | Source: Trip Advisor
"You have to go to believe how unique it is . The speed boat to downtown Saigon was the icing on the gateau. We arrived mid morning and were offered complimentary breakfast . Our rooms were most exciting . I shall never forget Villa Song . "

Muang La Resort: "Outstanding world class in Both of Laos"

Review by: KJMColdstream | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Stayed he with my wife on 6th and 7th December. What a joy! Fabulous welcome by the manager and his assistant. Setting on riverside is wonderful. Food truely outstanding. Dinner was five courses but not over heavy. Waiting staff delightful. The hot tubs are files from local high springs and are very relaxing. Massage was one of the best I have ever had too. W also to a day trek to waterfall and local villages which was most enjoyable and interesting. Thoroughly recommended"

tugu bali: "Amazing property"

Review by: lesserodyssey5 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"Very unique experience staying in this hotel. Quick walk to the surf breaks at Batu Balong, Old Man's and Echo Beach/Pererenan from the lovely beach area on the property. Food in the restaurant is a bit more expensive than other options in the area but well worth the price.

Tugu Bali: "Absolutely wonderful"

Review by: BKfromBK | Source: Trip Advisor
"An unforgettable stay. The staff is warm, friendly, beyond accommodating and truly gracious. The property is gorgeous — beginning with the stunning lobby that will make your jaw drop the moment you enter. Historic Balinese details are strewn throughout the decor, and the room we stayed in had the feel of a colonial-era suite. Comfortable and modern amenities (the bed is top notch!). The food was fantastic — our breakfasts, in particular, were always the perfect way to start the day. The area itself is a surfer community, so it's a little livelier (and younger) than other parts of Bali that we visited. The beach is nice, though not exactly low-key and relaxing (if you're a surfer, it'll be right up your alley). Some very nice restaurants, bars and boutiques within walking distance. Overall, we loved our time here. We can't say enough about the service and the friendliness of the staff/management. They took care of us in every way and we will most certainly be back the next time we're in Bali."

Rachamankha: "Luxury retreat"

Review by: Reblecka | Source: Trip Advisor
"A luxury hotel experience. Very helpful staff. They responded to every question or inquiry with great attention and desire to be as helpful as possible. Beautiful hotel. We had a standard room with a king sized bed, which was very nice and comfortable with a nice sized bathroom. Be sure to check out all the beautiful details of the grounds, pool, library, guest lounge area. We had an awesome couples Thai massage one evening that I'd highly recommend. There were a lot of mosquito's out in the evening, although i know they try to keep them away with coils, etc. I'm not sure if they spray for mosquitoes, if not, it could be worth considering. I would have liked to stay outside a bit more but mosquitoes love me so I had to retreat to our room. The restaurant and bar are lovely. The food was good but not amazing. With so much good food in Thailand, you might want to go elsewhere if you are only staying a couple nights. The location of the hotel in Chang Mai is okay but not the best for evening activities, which seemed to be more on the other side of town and a bit far to walk. Rather than walk late at night we would take a taxi or tuk tuk home in the evening. Thankfully the hotel provides cards with the name of the hotel so you can show those to the drivers because we never figured out the best way to pronounce the name of the hotel."

Villa Song Saigon: "Boutique hotel offered a change to district 1"

Review by: Lucy L | Source: Trip Advisor
We came to vietnam & had 4 days in ho chi Minh then travelled to nha trang for a week by beach then back to ho chi Minh for 2 days before flying home. We stayed in district 1 for first 4 days & that was helpful as all the sites were in walking distance & with the heat it meant you didn't need to be out all day you could pace yourself. When we choose villa song we wanted to see another district and we got that it's in district 2 more upmarket & residential. The hotel run an hourly complementary shuttle by speed boat to district 1 which is fun & useful. The hotel Breakfast is nice and u can have it all day which is a bonus I recommend the French toast! The staff here are super friendly & helpful from restaurant to reception. They couldn't offer a late check out but offered a place for us to freshen up before going to airport which was appreciated. The last shuttle returns to hotel at about 7pm so a cab in the evening will cost you around 250,000 dong. The hotels rooms are all different but there are only about 20 so you definitely get a more personal service here.

Muang La Resort: "well worth the long trip!"

Review by: Martin B | Source: tripadvisor.com
As you bump along a main road for hours to cover what looks like no distance at all on a map, you wonder what possessed anyone to build a resort out there in the sticks. And when you finally get there, have a welcome drink and a guided tour around the place, settled into your bungalow and are blissfully soaking in an outdoor hot tub fed from a natural spring, you realise that this resort is an extraordinary achievement of vision and hard work. It is managed and animated by two young men, who make it all look deceptively easy. Food is outstanding, imaginative and fresh; accommodation is large and comfortable, care is attentive and personal, nothing seems too much. We have only one regret: we should have stayed longer.

Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Really special hotel experience"

Review by: RichardAus49 | Source: Trip Advisor
We loved the terrific location on the waterfront, the great 1930’s design and feel, it is a very well run hotel, the staff could not have been nicer, they even gave me a present for my birthday. And the rooftop, L’Escale, with its stunning views and river breezes, served the most magnificent breakfasts and dinners- we could not fault them.

Tugu Bali: "Tugu Hotel Bali is a luxurious slice of history"

Review by: BTS_Rider | Source: Trip Advisor
I stayed in a Dedari suite while I was at the Tugu Hotel Bali. I loved having the private plunge pool and outdoor swing daybed. I also quite liked the outdoor bathtub with attached koi pond. However, the hotel decor is what's so amazing here, and it is definitely one of the main reasons for staying at this hotel. Everywhere you look there are beautiful antiques and artefacts. It's a living museum. I also took in the Thursday evening cultural dinner which includes a Balinese dance and music performance. If you are a traveller looking for a truly unique Bali experience this is the place to have it.

Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Fantastic place !"

Review by: Cécile D | Source: Trip Advisor
"A really place, quite ans sophisticated in a very quite area, next to Battambang, Beautiful décoration in traditional khmer houses. The atmosphère in the evening with the small lac illuminated is Wonderfull. Also we loved the restaurant : very good and cheap. It is better to stay there than to go to Battambang. Can be good for a long stay to enjoy the area."
