Fantastic accommodations in the heart of Seam Reap. Quaint, quite boutique hotel that catered to our every need including creating an itinerary to maximize our 3 days exploring the city. In addition to fantastic food, they have a wonderful, helpful staff that coordinated tour guides and set up a special tour of the Diamond Silk weaving farm. A must! wonderful piece of paradise in the delightful kep. yes, it's further out of town and a bit of a schlep to get in to the crab market, but it's worth it for the tranquility of the location and the beauty of the private beach and jetty. you can watch crab fishing and wildlife from your sun lounger and the grounds are superbly kept. junior suite was well worth the splurge for our honeymoon- the outdoor bathroom was magical. professional and unobtrusive service to top it off, and a great value happy hour. we will be back!MAISON POLANKA: "Best hotel I’ve stayed at"
My boyfriend and I stayed here for four days and everything - from the food to the service to the rooms - was perfect. The staff works hard to make your experience perfect. The Green Room is beautiful as are the grounds and the pool. I've stayed in several hotels in several countries and this one is by far the best I've stayed at. Every detail is impeccable. The staff also helped us coordinate our tours to the temples and packed picnic breakfasts. Shoutout to our tuk tuk driver Vong - we loved him!Satri House: "Absolutely wonderful"
"This is a truly amazing gem of a boutique hotel. The manager introduced himself on our arrival and the staff were exceptionally helpful. There are 2 pools, a spa and lovely grounds to relax in. Breakfast is either continental with a range of cooked eggs or local. The basket of pastries was fresh and they melted in your mouth. The tomato jam is excellent as is the tamarind. If you ask the recipes are available. The room was beautiful with local antique furniture and if you ask they will provide a kettle and tea making facilities. Questo è un lodge costituito da un insieme piccole costruzioni nascoste sotto gli alberi, ciascuna contenente 2 camere. E' praticamente collocato fra il villaggio e il fiume Irrawaddy, ma si ha la sensazione di essere lontani da ogni insediamento umano. Camera molto suggestiva, ordine e pulizia assoluti. First of all the location: this restaurant is in a dark and isolated village in Siem Reap, and it might be difficult even for taxis to reach it. Recommend keeping a map with you (or google maps) in order to find it more or less easily or help the taxi driver to do it. Went there right after Christmas and only had to wait a few minutes to get a seat (no booking, but it's better to have one). The restaurant has two floors, so you can dine downstairs indoor or at their al fresco terrace. They offer a tasting menu of 5 or 6 courses for 24 or 28 USD that changes every 10 days, the food is amazing! Their style is French-Cambodian, and the chef will come visit you at your table at the end of the meal to offer a plate of fresh fruit after the dessert. Must note that the restaurant is open only from Tuesday to Saturday, so it will be a pity to go there when it's closed (also because it's a reeeeeally dark street haha). "That is really really nice place in term of pure natural views and fresh foods with low costs. The people there are so friendly and helpful. I went there so many times, including my honeymoon trip, whenever i want to kill work stress and stay in pure nature and enjoy local fresh foods. The chef there is also great. He can cook so many delicious foods and sweets especially ice-cream, my favorite sweet, with hygiene and fresh. Not only day time that i can go on many excursion places, but also at night time i can go to see amazing fire flies with romantic kayak for couple. whoooooh.... so many more! more than i can say!
