Glenburn Tea Estate: "New Year’s Eve"
A boutique property in the midst of the tea estate with captivating views of Mt Kanchenjunga. The 19th century built cottages are luxurious and remind of the English countryside. One can spend the entire day relaxing and sun bathing in the beautiful lawn gazing at the variety of flora and the majestic mountain ranges. They offer various hikes exploring the nearby villages walking though the tea estates with expert in-house guides. Must visit property if one wishes to get pampered in the most beautiful of locales.Samanea Beach Resort: "Good hotel"
Our family stayed here for 2 nights and very enjoyed. Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Room is spacious and clean with modern set up. Aircon and hot water is always available. Breakfast is buffet with many dishes from East to West.Tandjung Sari: "This place really is a 5 star hotel…"
We stayed here 1 night before flying back to Europe. Everything about Tandjung Sari is just excellent. The staff are professional and helpfull, they will go the extra mile for you with a smile. The place is perfectly well kept, the bugalows ooze luxe, comfort and classic Balinese style. Food was great, excellent by-the-glass wine choice and do try the banana fritters with icecream. Smooth jazz in the late afternoon to watch the sunset in style. We'll be back for more!Muang La Lodge: "2 jours formidables"
2 evenings spent in Muang La resort with my husband and our 3 children. Comfortable bedrooms, the hotel is a haven of peace ... months would have stayed longer. After several days of visiting nois recommend to stay 1 day 1/2 day quietly at the hotel to enjoy their facilities. In February pool a little cold but that's normal! No mosquitoes! Hot baths are absolutely idyllic! And meals are delicious and highly sought ...Slow Villas and Spa: "Hidden little secret"
"Slow is located on the eastern part of Gili Air - it s a small island, but this area is still quiet, with many coconuts and few construction. Each villa is a little private sanctuary, with a large garden, a nice pool, a terrace. charming decoration, quality linen... and the possibility if you like to have a chef to come and cook a BBQ just for you. Very friendly team, happy to share their favorite spots around the island. it's not right on the beach... but this is why also it's so quiet... and beach is 2mn walk! recommended: take a bike and go around the island by bike!"Cuca: "Foodies: move over to this place"
"""It is all about the taste"" is Cuca's slogan and that is exactly what they offer. We had the chef's selection menu (9 dishes) and we loved every dish. Our favorites were the smoked butterfish and the roasted pork buns. To be honest, it was a very long time ago that I used my fingers to scrape the last bit of sauce of the plate after we finished the dish but here I just had to do it; so delicious! It's a pity that they do not offer matching wines with every dish (what we would have loved) but maybe it is better not to drink wine but just water to experience the tastes of the dishes better. We loved it."Villa Song: "Unbelievably amazing"
"We're on our Honeymoon and just had a two hour spa experience that was simply incredible. It was about $100 for two of us, for the best treatment package we've ever had. Salt scrub, full body massage, then epic multi-phase facial, and we are GLOWING. And totally blown away. Combined with the friendly, super accommodating staff, the lovely room with the gorgeous view, the free water shuttle to downtown, and the lovely grounds, we simply couldn't be happier."Rachamankha: "Lovely and serene"
This hotel is a lovely and serene property in the bustle of Chiang Mai, very traditional in style. The pool facility is excellent. Breakfast is excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable. However, the door is made of very heavy wood, and the only window fin the room faced a wall, so the room felt a bit like a cell. Service was gracious, if a bit impersonal. The hotel is located on the eastern edge of the Old City. It is a long walk to the daily morning and night markets, but very convenient to the Sunday night walking street.Yandabo Home: "Delightful stopover"
After an exhausting (but fun!) day, beset by unforeseen delays, we arrived at this fabulous hotel. We were met the wonderful Burmese greeting and immediately felt relaxed and at home. Late as we were, the staff were happy to take us on a fascinating tour of the pottery village, before serving a fabulous dinner on the deck. I was sorry we had only planned one night on our way from Bagan to Mandalay. I could have luxuriated in the superb hospitality and perfectly appointed rooms for one more day.Reverie Siam: "Excellent choice for a couple"
"This place is gorgeous A hodgepodge of vintage furniture adorns the restaurant (which acts as the focal point of the resort) The menu is incredible - and very reasonably priced We had a second-floor mountain view room (there's only two levels) The room was enormous, so was the bathroom (complete with bathtub), and our private terrace looked out across fields toward the mountain with white Buddha. There's two cute swimming pools nestled amongst foliage Super friendly and attentive staff Free tuk tuk into town about 5 mins away"
