Manukan Island Resort: "Just best!"
"It's an amazing place! Peaceful, quiet! Excellent staff, organized such a great bday celebration! Resort has kind of ""a private beach"" with umbrellas and chairs. Houses are away one from each other, so you have a great view from your accommodation. Food at the resort is just the best - the best one I've tried in Malaysia! And very inexpensive! Prices for accommodation is cheaper during the weekdays. To get to the island you can by boat from a pier in KK."Slow Villas and Spa: "Le paradis sur terre"
"L'équipe de slowvillas est aux petits soins pour vous, ils s'occupent des fastboat, des sorties plongée, qui soit dit en passant méritent à elles seules le détour. Le lieu est magnifique, villas privées avec piscine personnelle, petit déjeuner copieux, les chambres sont magnifiques. Sur l'île seulement les chants des oiseaux, le bruit des petits poneys tirant les cimodo pour le transport des touristes, et la mosquée, le tout dans une ambiance de détente absolue. Encore merci à l'equipe de slow villas de nous avoir aussi bien reçues, c'était un petit paradis"Glenburn Tea Estate: "Paradise – what more could you ask for?!"
Glenburn looks, tastes and feels like paradise. It is a truly amazing place where you feel cocooned from the rest of the world. From the moment we were warmly welcomed by Ranjan, Angela, George and Kim we felt like part of the “family” and thanks to the excellent company from the remaining guests we had a wonderful stay. Our one regret was that we hadn’t stayed longer! We were staying in a room in the water lily bungalow. A short walk, we enjoyed the privacy that this afforded us from the main building. The rooms are gorgeous and the views have to be seen to be believed. Waking to sunlight breaking over the summit of Kanchenjunga and enjoying it from the comfort of your 4 poster bed is an experience we will never get to repeat! The walking is amazing - both through the tea estate and the colourful villages that house the tea workers with everyone you meet friendly. You don’t need to leave by vehicle once you arrive - indeed the road is so bad you should do all your excursions from the town of Darjeeling before you arrive! We were sorry that the recent civil unrest in Darjeeling had had such a devastating effect on the tea production here. The food was first class and the team went out of their way to cater for our vegetarian diet. If we had stayed longer we would have left a stone heavier! We loved our “bed tea” a great touch. People should note that evening dinner is served “en famille” with other guests which may not suit everyone. Overall a wonderful experience. All our fellow guests had been before and we soon understood why. Location, service and luxury - what more could you ask for. Thanks to all the team there.MesaStila: "Amazing stay"
I just returned from Asia and spend a wonderful night in this hotel. I arrived in Semarang airport which is about 90 minutes away. Transfer was perfect and car comfortable. Driver very nice. Amazing driveway to hotel. Once we arrived I checked in overlooking this lovely property. Room was very large and comfortable . Bed was huge and so was the bathtub. I had lunch in their open air restaurant . There is a lot to do in and around the hotel. The spa is great and I had a fabulous 2 hour treatment . Dinner was also very good with a good selection of wine . Next morning I did the coffee plantation tour with one of their lovely staff. All was perfect ! Room, food and service. I would come back for sure .Kenanga Hotel: "Beautiful tranquil oasis in the rice fields"
"The Kenanga in Ubud is a perfect place to stay. We had a room overlooking the beautiful rice fields of the hotel. The gardens are very lovely and the infinity pool is awesome. Breakfast is served a la carte and is delicious (the fruit jam is very tasty...). To get to Ubud Centre there is a free shuttle every hour until 5pm. Afterwards you have to take a taxi for around 40000 Rupiah. An alternative (by daylight) is to walk through the lush rice fields and arrive in the city centre after 1 hour. Carine, the owner is extremely helpful and organized a small private trekking tour with a local guide for us to a remote waterfall. All in all we had a wonderful time in Kenanga and will be back for sure next time we are in Ubud."Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "At home in the jungle"
I had an outstanding stay at this Safari camp 2 weeks ago. The staff treated us like royalty, making sure every single detail of my stay was perfection. I had the privilege of being hosted by Noel and Cecile, the owners, and had equally great attention from all of the other staff in their absence. The safari guides, Sanj, Damian and Prameet all went the extra mile to ensure our visits were full of wildlife sightings, all knowledgeable in the flora and fauna seen. The food served at each meal is fantastic and abundant. The accommodations are appropriately rustic and comfortable. Can't wait to go back!Sukoon Houseboat: "wonderful houseboat"
No doubt the best houseboat in kashmir, initially planned to stay at the houseboat for 2 nights but it was such wondeful place to be that extended my stay for one more night, the staff is excellent very caring and the food served one of the best ever had on my holiday...Would love to go back and enjoy the beauty and the surroundings from the houseboaat....satri house: "A jewel"
Lovely colonial property with modern facilities. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Interesting rooms and common areas with beautiful antiques. Nice pool and garden, which makes this a perfect oasis to relax. Excellent food, too.Bassac Cruises: "Relaxing Mekong Delta cruise"
"Unfortunately, we only did a one night cruise on the Bassac 3. We really liked the cabins, the food, the staff - all was very harmonious. Our guide Annie came from the Mekong Delta and when you walk through a local village you pass her auntie's house. We had a great relaxing trip and would definitely recommend a cruise with a Bassac boat."Tugu Bali: "A rare gem"
"I stayed at Tugu hotel with my wife and my little one and we absolutely loved it. A rare beautiful place in the middle of a lush garden. They did an incredible job to maintain this historic place. The mystique beach of Canggu is one step ahead which can be enjoyed thanks to a very convenient ""green beach deck"" to enjoyed all the facilities of the 5 stars. The service is excellent. The Indonesian food very tasty and I simply loved the surprising Japanese restaurant. We need now to test the Tugu hotel in Lombok !"
