Manda De Laos: "Traditional Laos food in wonderful setting"
Dinner here, The setting is wonderful with lily ponds and palms and mood lighting. Fantastic Lao cocktails followed by traditional food. All wonderful and at a reasonable price for those used to eating out in equivalent places in UK The hospitality was outstandingArumdalu: "Great experience"
"The best resort on the island, the beach at the back of the resort is totally private, feels like i owned the beach by myself, food at the resort is great, just abit pricey for belitung island... But so far this is the best experience ... "Maison Polanka: "“Rooms with character ”"
While in Siem Reap on business I wanted something with more character than the usual hotels, that could also be my home for my business trips. I found Maison Polanka thanks to an article in the Financial Times. As others have said, the rooms are beautiful and the staffs extremely helpful managing to arrange temple tour to fit my business schedule. The nature there is just so peaceful and gives me energy to start my day as well as rejuvenates me in the evening.Once you enter the wooden gate,it is another world. Just bliss!Talabgaon Castle: "Perfect place to wind down between busy cities"
"To sum it up briefly this place is amazing. It is a very serene, quiet place for relaxing between the hustle bustle of the cities. You'll fall in love with this place. You won't be disappointed. Do not miss the opportunity to stay at this pristine palace. Our one night stay at the castle was exquisitely delightful. The staff greeted us with hot towels and lemon water to drink. As well as beautifully smelling flower necklaces. They showed us to our room which was tidy and supplied with bottled water and biscuits. Then they brought warm tea. We were given a menu to choose our dinner selection and we were astonished by how delicious the food was. They have an organic garden on the grounds from which they get their vegetables and they were spectacular. The chef preparations of the food were so delicious that words cannot capture how much we enjoyed the supper. In the morning we were greeted by a continental breakfast, but then they began to bring out all of the hot selections from omelettes to traditional Indian fixings. I was upset with myself for eating fresh fruit and yogurt because I wished I had more room for all the delicious breakfast selections. When you first arrive you know youre staying in a special place because you notice the castle walls as you are driving through a small village. You pass through a large traditional gate to an open area where the driveway is and there's another smaller traditional gate to enter the grounds where you can see the beautiful 200 year old structure. The grounds and castle itself are beautifully done, clean and modernized. We were provided bottled water in our room and at dinner. The bathroom was marble and glass with no shortage of hot water. The bed was large and luxurious with very clean linens. There was also a big flat screen television. There are many seating rooms and a Polo bar room. There is a large swimming pool behind the main building. We were given the opportunity to participate in a camel cart or jeep safari ride the next morning and we chose the jeep. We were able to see beautiful birds and local friendly people. You drive through these tiny, minuscule towns and the people are so delighted to see you. Because 'guests are gold' in this part of the world we were invited in for tea and Palau. Unfortunately we were not able to accept their request as our guide said we must go as we were on a stringent time schedule to leave for agra. I wish we had stayed for longer and we're able to become more acquainted with these friendly people. This place is a little out of the way, but worth it in every aspect. The food, the staff, the accomdations, the villagers, the history of the facility. You'll not want to leave and you'll be eager to retuen.great place for romantics, adventurers, or those looking for relaxation during a busy trip in india. Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"Tugu Malang: "Excellent Place to Stay"
"Hotel Tugu Malang is a place to stay for those who love art and history combined with pleasure. While the service is way beyond average, one will also find that the food served in the restaurant and the snacks sold in the small shop house behind the hotel are able to entertain the taste buds. The artistic decoration of the hotel can also entertain the eyes. Absolutely nothing to complain, but....since there is nothing perfect in this world, I would suggest that each staff is provided with the same level of knowledge and way to explain the history of the hotel, the owner, the rooms and the antique goods so that all guests will get the same knowledge"Tugu Bali: "Aesthetic delights"
"Hotel Tugu is a different hotel than most, and for me - better. Why? I stayed in a suite, more expensive than my custom but I loved the space, the views, the lily pond below and the style of accommodation. The idea of Tugu is that it houses a collection of antique Indonesia art - which I loved - and the hotel itself is designed to be congruent with the art it houses. So you have a place with a quality of history, of character and of class - all at the same time. It is comfortable, the facilities are excellent, I ate extremely well and most noticeably, I was so well looked after by all of the staff there. I would happily return, and that is my best recommendation."Tugu Bali: "Relax in a luxurious, romantic setting"
"We were looking for a more traditional and authentic Balinese experience and Hotel Tugu Bali exceeded our expectations by far. The hotel overlooking Canggu beach is built from temple remains and furnished with the largest collection of Balinese antiques and artworks. The grounds were beautiful and immaculate with large, amazing, comfortable rooms. The food was beautiful at the fine-dining restaurants (this included a Japanese Restaurant, Ji). Each afternoon complimentary 'High-tea' with local and western delicacies was provided which we never missed! The staff were excellent - so friendly, helpful and willing to assist in any way. This was exemplified by the Manager, Jenny Bellora. The close proximity of the surf kept my husband very happy each day and I enjoyed the relaxing time spent by the pool. Canggu itself is a new and developing area in Bali and the hotel was within walking distance to lovely shops, restaurants, boutiques and a local market. Room Tip: Rejang Suite (bedroom and verandah). Each evening from the verandah we enjoyed watching the sunset a..."Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Book this safari experience!"
"Everything about our experience was fabulous. We have stayed in some pretty swanky places on this holiday but the food served to us out of a jungle kitchen was the best. The guys were helpful and really fun to be with. We were lucky enough to see a huge male leopard and lots of other amazing animals. We stayed in the luxury air conditioned tent - my best sleep of the holiday. Everything had been thought of. I can not recommend them more highly. Other companies have tried to copy but failed."Tugu Lombok: "A truly magical place"
"As someone who seen many many hotels cities, countries and places I can truly say that this hotel left an ever lasting positive impression in my head. A secluded serene place of beauty. Ideal for romantic getaways or personal getaway from noise, crowds and hustle. Extremely attentive staff. Great spa and an overall warm place to reconnect with your inner self."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Such an amazing resort !!! In my heart forever"
"Travelling with my husband and friends, my aim was to go to Koh kong island, and I only have chosen the 4 Rivers Lodge to be a good location to reach the island. But when we discovered the island was too far away, we decided to remain in the resort for 3 days. After my disappointment of not going to Koh Kong island, I can say that I spent there one of the best vacations of my life !!! How calm it is ! You feel so cool, you only listen to birds, and the river noise.... The bedroom is fantastic... The visit to the Tatai waterfalls is so great, and the cayac ride around the island in front of the lodge is very fun... A specific award to Luce, the office manager, who was so nice with us... I really appreciated her kindness, so seldom nowadays.... When we left, I felt so bad... I would have liked to stay more.... Don't hesitate to choose this lodge, you will never regret it."
