Reverie Siam: "Amazing surroundings and room deco"
Stayed for a night in Reverie Siam with a girl friend and the experience was amazing. Thoughtful service. Although it's located a distance away from the walking street, the hotel had a tuktuk service to bring you to and fro the hotel and the main walking street. We did not have Thai number and the hotel loaned us a phone to call them for a pick up back to the hotel. The room deco was beautifully vintage and very instagram worthy. Lovely outdoor garden if you stay on the ground floor and lovely pools and you can also sit on the deck chairs by the river which runs by the resort. The hotel restaurant, Silhouette, serves some amazing dishes for dinner and breakfast which came with the hotel stay was definitely exceptional. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in Pai!JL Studio: "Artistic cuisine"
Each dish wobble plate, decoration, flavors, both with artistic, aesthetic and both the color, flavor and taste of the food, service personnel and then by commentary and explain the story, so every food, moving and full of praise. JL plus uphold let everything that can make people eat meals together have different levels of taste and delicious food will make people more reluctant to swallow stomach, but slowly and enjoy the taste of which different feelings, well worth to experience and enjoy the incomparable honorFlower Island: "Perfect away from it all"
From the journey to the Island and everything during our stay to the time we had to leave was simply amazing. The fantastic approach by boat, the welcome, the staff, the food, the serenity, the views, snorkelling, canoeing, the beach, the bar, the rooms and the dog. We absolutely loved the whole experience. No TV, WiFi, unless at the reception, traffic, hustle and bustle. A most perfect few days of sheer basic bliss in simple true rustic charm. Total chill out. We will be back, for longer next time!Maduzi Hotel: "Great hotel, good staff"
"The hotel is in a great location. It is within 100 of Sukhumvit Road yet manages to be rather quiet. The suites are very comfortable and quiet. I love the no quibble everything is free in the mini bar approach. I love the 24x7 cleaning staff approach. For Thailand, they have a fairly well stocked wine and liquor selection. I have found great inconsistency in the front line staff though. Some of the staff were very well trained and could handle most any request. Others I found to be downright infuriating. I would love to see an improvement in consistency for staff training."TIGER MOUNTAIN POKHARA LODGE: "BACK IN SEVENTH HEAVEN"
"No other way to describe Tiger Mountain Lodge. Spectacular setting. I said I would be back and yes, a very long way for a short cut but worth all the extra miles for my second visit. And my room back. Just like coming home. Great welcome. Nowhere else will ever be able to come close to the pampering given to all from morning wake up coffee right through the day. Pre dinner drinks and nibbles get the taste buds going. Also a good time for a chat.with Dol Raj and Jhalak. Wonderful imaginative food. Lalu and his team should start cookery lessons. My attempt at masala rumble tumble went straight in the bin! Hari has infinite patience and steady hands when out walking with non trekkers. Who needs mountains to climb when TMPL is so close and comfortable? Yes Saga clients seriously miss out. Such a pity as a two night stay on main tour plus three night extension would be well worth it. Marcus and team. Very many thanks for yet another fantastic stay. I will be back, even if under my own steam. "David’s Kitchen: "Amazing experience"
The food and the ambience were both excellent. We met the owner David who recommended a couple dishes for us to try. My husband had the duck, which he claims was the best he had ever had. I had the squid ink pasta, delicious! Overall experience was great! David made us feel right at home and was sweet enough to give us restaurant recommendations for the countries we are visiting after Thailand. Must try if you’re in Chiang Mai!Tugu Lombok: "Amazing Family retreat"
"We had the pleasure of visiting Tugu Lombok in December with our 17 month old. It was such an easy place to stay with a toddler - beautiful beach out front, two very quiet pools, grass throughout the resort, daybeds (as well as high chairs) in the restaurant, and amazing staff that our baby adored. the resort is spread over enough of an area that if our little girl was in a boisterous mood we could take her to burn off her energy somewhere out of the way of other guests. We enjoyed breakfast on the resort dragon boat to watch the sunrise, and a horse and cart ride through local villages to watch the sun set. My husband snorkelled out the front of the resort while my daughter and i played on the beach and my daughter learned to moo from the cows next door!. The breakfasts were amazing, architecture and decoration really gorgeous and experiences on offer really interesting. Although it was perfect for a family with a toddler, we'd have enjoyed it even more if travelling as a couple as we'd have been able to do so much more! We visited the groups restaurant in Jakarta as well, based on how good our experience was at this resort. We look forward to visiting more of their properties when next in Indonesia and couldn't recommend them more highly to anyone."Muang La Lodge: "Idyllic Setting"
"This property is magical. It is a small boutique property offering outstanding service. While the English of some of the staff is limited, Rafael or one of his assistants is always there to make sure you have what you need and to make sure you have an outstanding experience. The guide Rafael arranged for our trip to visit surrounding villages was the best of our Lao trip. The breakfast and dinner were both top notch. Innovative, high quality really good food. The hotel also offers a hot spring, spa and private island with swimming pool. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"tugu bali: "Authentique Indonesian Decor"
"Without doubt, the room in Tugu Bali is one of the best we ever stayed. Everything was design to the utmost details to represent Indonesian (Java) beauty. We only stay in the Rejang Suite Ocean view for one night on the last leg of our adventure in Bali. The location in Pantai Batu Bolong, Canggu is rather secluded, but busy with surfers. Perfect for honeymooners. The staff are extremely helpful and polite; from the reception, bellboy, gardener, waiters. Definitely we want to come back and spend more time there "The Cabochon Hotel and Residence: "Excellent Boutique Hotel and Amazing Staff"
"This was the first stop on our honeymoon and the Cabochon was an excellent hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helped answer any questions we had, including recommendations for restaurants and nearby spas. They even helped arrange shipping a package of souvenirs we had purchased back home to the USA. The food at the hotel is great, especially the free breakfast. The location of the hotel is very central but also tucked away on a side street, a nice quiet escape from the busy streets of Bangkok."
