VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Absolutely charming hotel"
"A haven at the edge of the Saigon River. A beautiful, peaceful spot to chill out after a hot session of sightseeing. Chef Kevin, always eager to please with innovative Western based menus liberally sprinkled with South East Asian herbs and spices, great. Restaurant and hotel staff greeting us with their gentleness and smiling faces all the time. I can only highly recommend Villa Song "Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "The Perfect Retreat"
"The journey from Kuraburi pier on the long tail boat to the island is itself a wonderful trip passing local fishing boats and small islands with breathtaking views puts you at ease for what is to come. You will not be disappointed.Arriving at the Island and stepping into the warm clear blue water to be greeted by Pena the resort manageress with a traditional Thai greeting and beaming smile is an indication of what Golden Buddha is about. We stayed at 2 of the houses and loved both Baan Sparks house for the first 3 nights (...) Activities were available with Brennan the naturist who was so passionate and knowledgeable that you immersed yourself with the nature of the Island and on top of that if Yoga was your thing or not then a lesson with Alex the Yoga master was not to be missed.A trip to Kuraburi market on the speedboat with Brennan and Nika who introduced you to the local cuisine and it gave you time to do a little shopping is well worth doing. All the staff are wonderful and helpful. It's a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the views and as it is not overly populated it gives you the feeling of your own private Island in Paradise."Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Amazing and unique hotel"
We loved our six nights and were lucky enough to stay in Escoy - the room with a gold leaf timber Chinese screen. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the Georgetown location fascinating. We also had an excellent meal at the Indigo restaurant.Labyrinth: "Blown away experience"
It was a very pleasant dinner experience we had! We were looking forward to the next dish being served and each dish just keeps getting better. Recommend this place for anniversary, or a romantic dinner.Muang La Lodge: "Lovey setting and relaxing atmosphere"
"Lovely setting in the hills and next to the river; rooms are set in the gardens. Rooms are large, as are the bathrooms, and well-equipped and comfortable. Rooms are access via outside steps. Meals are served on the atmospheric outside terrace overlooking the river, it is a set menu but definitely fine dining. One little moan through, we were offered coffee after our meal and were then surprised to see it billed on our account at the end; it needs to be included (preferable) or made clear that it is extra. The swimming pool is accessed via a ""trip trap"" bridge which crosses the river to an island and the salt pools in the river can be accessed from the gardens. There are also spa pools in the gardens which use the natural salt water from the river. t was definitely a lovely experience staying here and we were very well looked after."THE SAMAR: "The Samar Villa & Spa Resort"
I highly recommend this delightful boutique hotel in Siem Reap. The staff were welcoming, efficient and professional. We received good advice with regard to visiting the historic sites from the General Manager Bertrand and arrangements were put in place to make it very easy for us to make the most of our time there yet we were still able to fully enjoy our stay. Situated near to Angkor Wat and the center of town yet peaceful and quiet within the bounds of the hotel. A clean and pleasant swimming pool. We were served a very generous breakfast. All the meals we ate at the Hotel were well presented and very tasty with dishes on the menu to suit all palates.Rahai'i Pangun Wildlife River Cruises: "Extraordinary 3d2n with wow Borneo"
We chose Wow Borneo because they had the safest looking boats for our small children whilst having competetive prices. We had the boat to ourselves and a lovely crew. The food included some of the best local dishes we've had in Indonesia in 2+ years. Our guide, Faisal, knew his stuff and was great with the kids. We woke on both mornings to see large male orang utans hanging in trees yards from our boat. We saw probiscus monkeys, endangered Storm's storks, gibbons, macaques and crocs too. A fantastic trip. Do it.The Island Lodge: "Scherer"
"The Island Lodge is a marvellous place! An oasis in the middle of a special place almost a junge beside the river. The view is historic, peaceful and really unique. There is nothing to compare with the Island Lodge in the area! The owner Michel and his wife Francoise are exceptional hosts not because of a necessity but because of a natural true passion to receive their guests with warmth and friendliness. It is a really comfortable feeling after traveling down from the chaos and noise of Ho Chi Minh! Breakfast is á la carte, it is slow and easy going just like the Mekong. Dinner is more or less the same. Lots of choice and lots of taste and just so comfortable. One of the best parts of this residence has to be the interior design. Michel did almost everything himself and if he ever gives up the Hotel business he could certainly try his hand at ID!! He has taste and style which is very seldom in a hotel of this size. Usually boutique hotels get a little Kitsch over load. Not here the attention to detail is impressive and highly soothing just before a early afternoon nap! The pool is big and super practical! And make sure you go with Michel on a bike tour. Probably something that will stay with me for ever for all the right reasons! Don't bother looking at any other place if you want to stay a few days in the Delta "Satri House: "Wonderful stay"
It was like paradise. So beautiful and peaceful. Lovely garden with a wonderful swimming pool. Room is huge with nice decoration and very comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and included.Reverie Siam: "An experience to remember"
Reverie Siam will always be a very special place for my mother and I. As soon as we arrived we were transported, this place is so much more than a hotel. Every detail has been thought about, the staff were always one step ahead of us. A special thank you to Mr Sabastian for making each night so lovely, we thank you for your talent and experience. To Toffy for your humor and care, we looked forward to seeing you every morning. There is no doubt we will be back to visit you again and will recommend this oasis to all the special people in our lives. Thank you!
