Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "R and R after a hectic trip through Bhutan"

Review by: tourmanagerexeter | Source: Trip Advisor
"A haven of peace after Bhutan and other parts of Nepal--a lazy 4 days where the waistline expanded again, inventive food and yummy....Lalu at his best !! As always, a superb stay, the team surpassed themselves under Marcus's steely eye. The weather was none too good but, hey ho, every visit has given us stunning views of the Anapurna range so we couldnt grumble( otherwise the Grand Fromage would probably banish us !! ) Looking forward to our next visit and some chilli dishes !! Room Tip: Any cottage will be a joy"

The Cabochon Hotel: "Stunning interior & great service"

Review by: simmyrennard | Source: Trip Advisor
As soon as we arrived here it took my breath away. So unexpected in the hustle of Bangkok. The interior and attention to detail was superb. The staff are friendly and attentive. We only stayed here for one night but we visit Bangkok regularly and will definitely stay here when we return.

Jing’s Residence: "Zen & Classicism"

Review by: Carl P | Source: Trip Advisor
We planned 2 nights and stayed a week, absolutely smitten by the abundant charm, the historical atmosphere, the perfection in every detail and the friendly helpful staff. Expensive? Yes but worth every yuan.

Reverie Siam: "Happy return to this oasis in the northern hills"

Review by: Fikoukla | Source: Trip Advisor
This is my second visit to the Reverie Siam, and I loved it just as much. Delightfully, this time I felt no obligation to go and do any tours, and so I lazed my days away at the hotel, which it is certainly designed to support. There are two pools, a traditional rectangular one and a more family friendly organic shaped one, which some of the rooms can step straight out into. The buildings and grounds are all charming, a successful mix of Mediterranean planting and colonial "Indochine" architectural style. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and elegant. And the riverside pavilion is unbelievably peaceful (and barely used!). The breakfasts are included in the room price, and very generous (I learnt from last time not to have all the courses offered!) The bar itself is pretty well stocked, has a surprisingly good selection of spirits and wine. And the food is Mediterranean inspired (which I have to confess would be my one wish: if they also had some delicious Thai options on the menu, to me it would be perfect!). They offer free shuttles into town, but if only takes 15 minutes to walk in. The quiet little hamlet the hotel is attached to, just outside Pai, seems to be developing as a more independent hub - there are a few decent cafes, though bafflingly they all shut firmly by 6pm. (Why?!) However, there are worrying signs of development all around, and a large new ugly market building, hope they're not going to build too much round here. Note: once in the hotel, you can't see or hear any of this, it's all at a slight remove. Overall I loved my trip, you won't regret booking here. Want to give a shout out to Tida Massage on one of Pak's main streets (a few doors down from Charlie & Lek restaurant), it's not listed on TripAdvisor and I can't add it. Run by two lovely ladies (and their cheeky cat), really great massage - and I have easy access to good/cheap massage living in China, so am not easily won over. I happened to try them out on my first day, and went back every day, sometimes twice. It's a very simple place, not fancy spa. But Miss Oi (excuse spelling) is a magician and has an infectious laugh. One hour/200baht, a bargain!

Manda De Laos: "Chilled with good food"

Went last night for dinner. Arrived without reservation and got a pool side table. Staff friendly and responsive. Wine good and food excellent. I had steam fish with dill which was tasty. Overall a pleasant experience for first night here

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Wonderful stay!!"

Review by: Johnlynne15 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in this relaxing, peaceful location, close to nature and local people. Comfortable accommodation with the river to dip into. We can recommend the kayaking trip and the Tatai Waterfall, where we swam in the river before choosing to kayak part of the return journey.Great fun and exhilarating! We loved the Fireflies we were so lucky to see them in full glory close to the Lodges. The staff and guides at Four Rivers are dedicated to the care of the guests, courteous, friendly and quietly enthusiastic. The food was good, especially our freshly caught clams that were cooked for us that evening and so delicious!"

VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Excellent stay and wonderful experience"

Review by: Rod A | Source: tripadvison.com
"Recently enjoyed a three night stay at the Villa Song on my first vist to Vietnam. The hotel and stay thorougly exceeded my expecatations. The location was ideal, a short boat ride or cab (use Uber if you have it) ride from the center of Ho Chi Minh city which provided ideal - getting away from the intensity of the city center was fantastic. The setting of the hotel is absolutley picturesque. Very beautiful area on the river, great area for relaxing, having a meal, having a drink, just fantastic. Very peaceful and enjoyable. Pool area is also very good - they offer service at the pool so no need to go anywhere for refreshments or food. Plenty of chairs and shade. You MUST visit the spa during your stay! I enjoyed several treatments that were simply world class and delivered by the warmest and most friendly staff (sorry that I forgot her name!). Don't miss the spa during your stay! All of the staff were friendly, warm and accommodating. Service was spot on. Hotel was immaculately clean. Room was fantastic - clean, cool, well equppied, great bed, great linens, very quiet and great sleep. You cannot go wrong staying at the Villa Song Saigon - should I return to Vietnam I would say here without hesitation. "

Tugu Bali: "So good I don’t want anyone else to know about it!"

Review by: thisisntanna | Source: Trip Advisor
"Had my 10th Anniversary there and it was utterly magical. The staff looked after us so well, they made every effort to make sure that we had the best experience and it worked! Food was delicious, rooms were stunning and the view was incredible. They couldn't control the weather unfortunately so our rooftop sunset meal was just a rooftop meal but the setting was so glorious it didn't matter. I will never forget my time there and look forward to many more <3"

David’s Kitchen: "In a league of its own"

Review by: Flyakiwi | Source: Trip Advisor
"My title says all! I simply cannot speak highly enough of David's Kitchen, this is a MUST do in Chiang Mai. My partner and I ordered the set menu to celebrate my 30th birthday. This allowed us to try Davids most signature dishes and we weren't disappointed!! The food, service and personal touches were absolutely splendid. Many reviews note their personal experience with David, and yes this is fabulous but I would also like to mention the amazing unity the entire team have to ensure your experience is like none other. I only wish there were most restaurants like this in the world!"
