Tugu Bali: "4 day get away"

Review by: Lonely_Thinker | Source: Trip Advisor
Very surprising when approached from the road- one would not expect the interior or reception that you are greeted with - the antiques / pictures / statues dotted around are quite fascinating - the staff are more than willing to enlighten you on the history and ethos of the owner.

Chakrabongse Villas: "Romantic getaway"

Review by: MichaelPhuket | Source: Trip Advisor
"Secluded behind a nondescript door lay the ancient palace grounds of Chakrabongse. Once you step inside you are out of the beaten tourist paths of the surrounding Grand Place and nearby temples. Each of the 6 unique ""rooms"" has its special features. Our Thai house overlooked the main courtyard leading to the river. A lot of space and a generous balcony added to the feeling of your own private residence. The meticulously trimmed gardens and the pool next to the river make this place an oasis. Restaurant facilities are limited though. You are served a set Thai dinner that is generous in portions but leaves no choices or alterations. The wine list is also limited but is designed to compliment the food. Last service is at 8pm. The staff (in our case singular) had troubles to keep up with service. I would recommend this place for a luxury weekend but there might be better food options outside."

Villa Song Saigon: "WOW!! Lived up to all expectations"

Review by: Samehart | Source: Trip Advisor

The Cabochon Hotel: "Stylish Boutique hotel"

Review by: Ruppen | Source: Trip Advisor
In the middle of Bangkok we found this stylish Hotel in an old Colonial style Building. The staff was very friendly and after running around in Bangkok the Swimmingpool on the rooftop was a blessing. The room was huge and the furniture very stylish like the Hotel. A must stay for people who like to be in the middle of this city and want to enjoy the amenities of a quite Boutique Hotel. A lot of good Bars and Restaurants are just around the corner.

Rachamankha: "Delightful boutique hotel"

Review by: GH24 | Source: Trip Advisor
"Delightful boutique hotel set in an old building with lots of character. We had a room set around a pretty courtyard area. It was a bit small by 5* Thai standards but nicely decorated and a very comfortable bed. The restaurant is set in a lovely courtyard where you have both breakfast & dinner. It has a reasonable breakfast choice with buffet & a la carte options - I had the Egg Benedict and an omelette on separate occasions which were both really tasty. We also ate twice in the evening (see separate entry). Lovely quiet swimming pool with the sun from 09.00. Very friendly staff who went out of their way to help. Location might be an issue for some people as it is quite far from the market and busier part of town but I would certainly go back to enjoy the tranquility of the place. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"

NOEL RODRIGO’S LEOPARD SAFARIS: "Family safari"

Review by: Swph | Source: tripadvisor.com
"We had a great time at Leopard Safaris. We were staying in a family tent with three children for two nights. We had some friends also staying on the site and the camp offered for the children to go in one jeep and the adults in the other. The children's jeep was looked after by Praneeth, who did a great job of entertaining them during the drives. We dined together and the food was great - all the staff are very friendly. The tents are authentic, giving the camping experience, while they have luxuries like two toilets and separate shower filled with hot water on the way back from the drives. Beds also very comfortable. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The drives were highly informative and we spotted a number of leopards and a sloth bear - particularly good was that most of the time we were away from the crowds. A nice touch was that Saj, who was managing the camp, was very happy to spend time with both adults and children while in camp - even being interviewed by the kids for their home made Yala documentary. An all round great experience and we'll be back some time soon! "

Villa Song Saigon: "Calm oasis"

Review by: rachelsO4386LK | Source: Trip Advisor
"This hotel is a calm oasis away from the bustle of the busy city with its thousands of motor cyclists. Friendly helpful staff, a stunning building and a refreshing clean swimming pool, with delicious food (local and international) served in the garden by the river. We liked the tablet computer photos (brought to the table) of the food so we could see before we ordered - a nice touch. Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"

Labyrinth: "Inventive Menu by Chef / Owner L G Han"

Review by: Neil A | Source: Trip Advisor
"If you are looking for a dining experience to really remember then the one Michelin Star, Labyrinth Restaurant is for you. We enjoyed the ten (10) course, very inventive, degustation menu with matching wines. This was not a 'cheap meal out' alternative but what an experience. The sensational flavours Chef Han has 'developed / created' and presents beautifully onto your plate are to die for and create much discussion if you are lucky enough to be sharing this experience (and I mean a 'real experience') with someone. Each course is described by the excellent staff, who are attentive, but not overly so, which is good for a dining experience. We were lucky enough to get to talk to Chef / Owner Han (apparently an Investment Banker ?? in a previous life), who is a very dedicated and focused Chef and ever so willing to talk about his passion for food, presentation, attention to detail and how and why he set out to create the 'truly innovative' fair he offers at Labyrinth. If you're in Singapore, love food and wine and like to challenge your taste buds with something very different, then Labyrinth will certainly meet your every expectation."

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Beautiful mansion and a great experience."

Review by: Chintan R | Source: Trip Advisor
"Staying at the mansion was a delight. The room that we stayed in ‘Mandarin’ (and we were lucky to get a free upgrade) was beautiful. I suggest getting that room since it’s the corner suite with a beautiful bathroom. The staff is wonderful and was caring and smiling all the time. The breakfast could be better. But that needs just a little more of care. The toast that came with the meal was dry and cold and the first round of coffees as well. The eggs were just ok. Overall a great experience and would hope to go back there again."

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Magical"

Review by: Caroline E | Source: Trip Advisor
An amazing place and well worth the travel to get there. Beautiful location, very comfortable and excellent food. We stayed 3 nights. It was lovely swimming in the river, although beware of the changing current. We walked in the forest and canoed around the island opposite.
