Tugu Lombok: "The definition of hidden gem"

Review by: Scott A | Source: tripadvisor.com
Hotel Tugu Lombok is absolutely the perfect place to relax and a must-do on your Indonesian vacation. The hotel has stunning panoramic views and amazing sunsets. The beach is serene and quiet (even the three or four children that were there when we were there were well behaved...). While swimming is tough since the shore line is very shallow and rock filled, the hotel provides free snorkel gear and water shoes that make a cool down trip to the water easy and fun. Each room is uniquely furnished with antiques from around Indonesia that gives the hotel a cool vibe you can't find anywhere else...and the rooms/suites are amazing!

Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Fine dining for great value"

Unbelievable what they offer for the money. One of the 3 best restaurants I have been to in Bangkok for the last ten years.

The Cabochon Hotel: "Lovely boutique hotel, very personal staff"

Review by: tallybean | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had an excellent stay here. From the moment we arrived we felt totally taken care of. For example, on our last day we had an early check out and had to go catch a flight, and our luggage was loaded into a cab and we were given bags of breakfast to go. The staff here was incredibly friendly and they made our stay very special. The building itself is very thoughtfully decorated, and you can tell that a lot of attention went into the small details. The pool on the roof offers a lovely respite from the heat, as does the gin and tonic bar at happy hour. The neighborhood is also quite nice. There are a lot of really nice places nearby to eat, and for all budgets. (One of the fanciest is called Bo.Lan and it is amazing.) The public transportation is also quite close, so in our short stay we were able to do some of the main tourist attractions as well. It was nice to come back to a lively neighborhood for dinner and drinks, and have so many options near the hotel. We had a great time on our honeymoon here! Highly recommended!"

Villa Mathis: "Gorgeous setting, great service"

Review by: lb20161 | Source: Trip Advisor
My stay at Villa Mathis was a great experience, the setting is what I expected of Bali, the Villa was large, clean and comfortable. Excellent service, very accomodating as to my request for vegetarian dinners, actually one of the best I have had.

THE SAMAR: "Very nice retreat"

Review by: A TripAdvisor Member | Source: Trip Advisor
"We stayed in double bedroom apartment (4 people) and had a wonderful stay. Building and decoration of exquisite taste, remarkable artifacts you would not find in standard hotels, rooms in pre-existing local houses, refurbished with attention. Location is half way between crowded city center and Ankor Wat - tuktuk is definitely needed but arranged by the staff. Food is really good, and staff really helpful - they were kind enough to arrange for us a barbecue after an event outside. Very nice! The pool is very comfortable and enjoyable. We definitely recommend "

Rachamankha: "A real treat to stay here"

Review by: Rob G | Source: Trip Advisor
An calm and tranquil oasis from the bustling city. So nice just to wander around the charming grounds of the hotel. There are lots of lovey spots to sit down and relax all around the hotel including the library. Very nice pool too. Staff very nice but perhaps not as professional as elsewhere in Thailand. Restaurant is very good without being spectacular.

Inle Princess Resort: "Top of the Line"

Review by: The B | Source: Trip Advisor
"The best place to stay on Inle Lake. Gorgeous private lakeside location with beautifully landscaped ground. Well located for touring. Totally service oriented in the most friendly of ways. Very comfortable large individual chalets with large balconies, fireplace, seating area, fridge, safe, large bathroom to include outdoor shower. Nice pool area to relax at day's end. Beautiful lakeside deck for meals. We have high expectations and they were met. On arrival we asked for extra lamps (we don't like dark rooms), space heaters for the bathroom and main room and extra blankets and towels ... all were promptly and cheerfully provided. The dinning room staff was exceptional helpful in arranging meals to our individual taste. Plan on eating here ... no where else to eat."

Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "nice experience in the 1920s…."

Review by: Lou S | Source: tripadvisor.com
"First time to stay in a hotel with 1920s' French style, the place is elegant and feel like home. So different from Bangkok , feel like a secret garden. Like the desk lamp design in room and wooden floor is nice.."

Villa Song Saigon: "Great Food & river view"

Review by: sander-saigon | Source: Trip Advisor
Beautiful hotel at the river with super friendly staff, owners and good food. One of my favourite places to escape the hectic city center. The river side is amazing at just 15/20 min from downtown it feels like being on a mini holiday just by having a good meal or coffee. A great quality escape :)

Villa Song Saigon: "Compact Asian Luxury.. Absolutely fantastic hotel"

Review by: Nolan A | Source: Trip Advisor
"We booked the same day we were to arrive given our initial hesitation to have Vietnam as destination for our long weekend escapade. We were amazed at the efficiency by which we were accommodated. The suites were booked for the night but a smaller room was instead alloted for us. It was topnotch from the pristine furnitures and fixtures to the vibrant yet impressively balanced art works. The following day we were transferred to the freed up art villa suite with an astonishing den overlooking the saigon river. The breakfast was eat all you can ala carte and the boutique hotel again exceeded our expectations. Personally this is where we had our best ever coffee experience and you can feel there was passion behind the creation of the food they serve. The hotel helped us book with the river sunset cruise. With the weather getting in the way of seeing the sunset, our guide ""Luke"" took us instead to the floating Pagoda and to a coconut drop off point where we had fresh young coconut juice that tastes even more heavenly than the ones we have in our very own beloved Philippines. This was the highlight of the vietnamese cultural education aspect of our trip having been immersed with our superbly fluent local guide who's versed with of course the country's current issues and its vibrant history. The attentive hot staff were promptly alert and each was attentively catering to our every tiny need. If you're after a compact yet very privately intimate vietnamese atmosphere fused with a strong french structural vibe, then you'd certainly feel like you struck gold with Villa Song. It heartfully made our vietnam trip an unforgettable success."
