Tugu Lombok: "A wonderful place to spend our honeyroom"
I can't say enough about Hotel Tugu and its staff. The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff went out of their way to make our Honeymoon special. Everything — the rooms, the beach, the wonderful activities and spa — was fantastic. They pampered us for 5 days straight! I can't wait to go back.Satri House: "A treasure"
We stayed at the Satri House for 4 nights. It is a former royal residence and one can experience the elegance of the former time. The hotel was recently renovated while in keeping with this charm. Our room was large and well-appointed - the rooms spread out among the beautiful grounds. The overall atmosphere is calming with a lovely dining area and reception rooms . The staff are very helpful and courteous. They genuinely want to be sure that you enjoy your stay.Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "A beautiful place run by beautiful people"
"Seadance Resort manages that very special skill of enhancing a naturally beautiful area with its presence. The layout of the resort takes full advantage of the tropical greenery both inside and outside the buildings and whilst the grounds are well tended it is not manicured and artificial but a natural infinity and flow that brings you down to the ocean's edge. When you meet Poy who established Sea Dance it all makes sense. His pride and thoughtfulness shine through and new staff like Faith all add something to this very special place. We stayed for 7 days and our normal style is to explore the area and discover places to eat. The fact we only ate out once is testament to the great food and we ate from the Thai menu exclusively. The breakfasts were great, the coffee good all overlooking the ocean. A dream of a place and a big thank you to all the staff. Stayed February 2017"The Village House: "Relaxing Bed and Breakfast"
"This is an off-the-beaten track bed and breakfast. There are no signs and I doubt there are any other tourists in Santubong Village. We walked along the beach (mud flat, really) and through town and seemed to be the star attraction (as obvious tourists). Once inside the compound, you hear the constant rippling water cascading off of the clear swimming pool. There are hammocks and cozy chairs to spend a lazy day. The staff serves breakfast (including in the room price), plus snacks, lunch, and dinner upon ordering. The food was all very tasty. Order dinner at 5pm (and select your dining time) and as soon as you sit down, it will be delivered to your table. The rooms are small, but comfortable and clean. The bed is soft (unlike so many in Southeast Asia). The A/C worked and kept us cool. You could take a taxi up to the Sarawak Cultural Village or hike Santubong Mountain, but otherwise there's nothing nearby. This is a great place for relaxation. **Do take a map and their phone number. There are no signs even at the front door and it's unlikely many taxis from Kuching would know it's location. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"Heritage Suites Hotel: "Incredible genuineness, a real gem!"
The Heritage came up in almost list of top boutique hotels to stay at in Cambodia, so I knew it would be a good choice. Getting picked up at the airport in a vintage Mercedes was amazing, such a great way to start off the experience. Having the adventure company in the hotel helped a lot, they organised 3 customised tours for me which were all equally amazing. All three were well worth it. I stayed in the Orchid suite, which I could of hid in during my entire stay and would of been really happy, the steam room was a pleasant surprise. Had breakfast and two dinners at the hotel which was also very good. The thing that left such an impression on me was the staff. There was this incredible genuineness to everyone I met. The hotel supports Sala Baï, a hospitality school for young underprivileged Cambodians, which they also helped organise a visit to. Heritage helps train and hire students from the school and offers them placement at the hotel, with everyone I met there, especially the students coming from Sala Bai, there was this genuine pride in working in hospitality and at the Heritage. As a guest you felt not only very welcomed, but that you also contributed to giving back to the community and not just taking from it. Kudos to the entire team at Heritage. I work in travel and hospitality and can honestly say this is one of the most unique and best offerings I’ve come across. I can’t wait to visit again. The Cabochon Hotel: "Had a wonderful stay"
Rooms were cozy and sophisticated. All the staff were so kind and food was good. I liked small details such as green, the view from window, teacups, and aroma. I had a wonderful stay here. I would like to come back to this hotel when I visit Bangkok again.riverie siam: "As good as the reviews suggest"
"We stayed two nights as part of our trip through Thailand. The food and beverage manager is doing a great job at this hotel. Breakfast a la cart is so much more enjoyable especially when it is prepared to such a high standard..the cocktails were outstanding, comparable with top 5 star hotels in HK. Not much around the hotel but the free shuttle was very reliable. Special thanks to the ladies who served us breakfast and evening drinks/dinner, they were genuinely so friendly and made our stay memorable. Thank you and we hope to return if we pass your way again! Pity the weather was too cold for us to use the two beautiful pools!"Tugu Lombok: "Just perfect!"
I simply cannot fault this hotel. The room was enormous, the most comfortable bed ever, lovely bathroom. Food was faultless - breakfast healthy, any time, perfect; dinner delicious, lots of choice, great service. Great cocktails, wine, beer - anytime, anywhere. Beach - white sand, beautiful view, sun beds wherever you want, endless towels. Lovely swimming pools with soft warm water. Staff are amazing, friendly, full of good advice and nothing is too much trouble but no one is intrusive. This is the perfect, peaceful retreat when you need to de-stress, relax and recharge. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here and were thoroughly spoilt. Would definitely recommend visiting Gili Meno for a day.Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Amazing Experience"
"This hotel gives the best experience during our April 2017 Kalaw-Inlay vacation. We ( husband and daughter ) stayed here for only 1 night and my 11 years old daughter request me to plan a 3 days stay next time :) Staff are very friendly and professional , especially on our arrival , Thant Zin welcome us with the warm and genuine smile and touring around hotel. Throughout the stay we experienced the hospitality of all. The bungalows are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We had dinner & breakfast there, we were so content with the oven fresh breads and croissant and the quality of the food. All in all , we were so happy and surely will come back again with all family members. My love of nature is completed by the surroundings , mini organic farms, aquarium , authentic Burmese cat village, birds chipping around the hotel . Thanks for your wonderful service & experience , Hotel Heritage ! Stayed April 2017"Reverie Siam: "Loved it and will definitely come back"
"This hotel came strongly recommended by a friend and I wasn't disappointed. Though it's not far from the relatively busy center of Pai (the resort provides a free shuttle service), the Reverie Siam feels like a different world. It's perfectly peaceful, with nothing but mountains and green fields as far as the eye can see. There's a lovely colonial aesthetic to the place and an attention to detail that I really enjoyed (books left open to specific passages in rooms, benches engraved with quotes). The staff honestly couldn't have been more thoughtful. From arranging a dinner reservation and dropping me at the restaurant to purchasing bus tickets and making sure I got a good seat for my return journey, they definitely went the extra mile to make my time more enjoyable. The breakfast, which comes with options like cappuccino French toast with caramelized mango, is also a big plus. I'm looking forward to coming back here. It's the perfect spot to curl up for a weekend and I'd happily recommend it to anyone."
