The Hue House: "Amazing Food"
"This is my second visit and its wonderful. The Hue House is incredible with, all the authentic food from the middle of Vietnam, the wrap and rolls are delicious. The BBQ chicken and BBQ beef is awesome and a must try. We had a beautiful time here. The Roof top with an amazing View. Wonderful service and they are attentive to the needs of the customer. For foodies its a must place to try and have good time with loads of variety to choose from."SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Fine Dining In Yangon"
This place is run by a charming and experienced Swiss couple who clearly know what they are doing - the ambience is great the food excellent and the service is good. We meant to go back again for lunch but sadly were not able to fit it in. Well worth a visit and highly recommendedTandjung Sari: "This place really is a 5 star hotel…"
We stayed here 1 night before flying back to Europe. Everything about Tandjung Sari is just excellent. The staff are professional and helpfull, they will go the extra mile for you with a smile. The place is perfectly well kept, the bugalows ooze luxe, comfort and classic Balinese style. Food was great, excellent by-the-glass wine choice and do try the banana fritters with icecream. Smooth jazz in the late afternoon to watch the sunset in style. We'll be back for more!Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "Perfect in every way"
We loved Cabochon Hotel. From our initial dealings over email to our warm welcome on arrival, the staff looked after our family and ensured our stay was stress free. Suites are beautiful and we had a connecting door through to our sons suite which was very helpful. Breakfast was simple but good quality and tasty, beds are comfy and excellent quality bedlinen. A highlight was the swimming pool which was always quiet. We returned for one more night on our way back home and stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was even better - light filled and larger balcony. We have nothing to be negative and we think we are pretty fussy.Slow Villas and Spa: "Gorgeous villas and delicious breakfasts"
"Had a lovely 4 nights stay at Slow Villas and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We arrived early, before check in and were provided with drinking water, beach blankets and a basket so we could head to the beach for a few hours before our villa was ready. The villa it's self was beautifully designed and had everything we could need. The privacy was great, pool was cold, outdoor seating was utilized daily. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor bathroom was amazing. We did not really utilize the kitchen but would be a lovely addition if staying longer and wanted to cook our own meals. The breakfasts provided each morning was so delicious. We had the Australian, Indonesian, and Gili breakfasts and all were so good! The staff were so friendly and attentive to any needs we had, we really can't thank them enough. Great secluded spot on Gili Air. Only con: a bit of a walk (15-20min) to the busier side of the island, but easily doable."The Governor’s House: "An oasis in Phnom Penh"
"Went to Phnom Penh for 3 nights on a business trip. This was my second trip to the city and checked into The Governor's House. Initially somewhat difficult to locate which caused some distress. However, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Tucked away just off a main thoroughfare, it is an oasis from the mad traffic of Phnom Penh. The establishment has only 12 rooms. After all it was a residence. And it certainly retained that warm homely feel. Once inside gate, one would enter into an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity - save for the play school next door. One may be deceived to think that this is an isolated location. There is a local market within a few minutes walk which offers a very interesting insight into the local life. I would recommend a morning visit. The establishment staff are warm and friendly adding to the homely atmosphere. While The Governor's House lacks the upscale look of other establishments near the tourist area closer to the river and palace, the warmth and tranquillity of this establishment more than make up for it. I will be coming back to The Governor's House again, soon."The Village House: "Away from it all"
After a busy week in Penang this was a delightful contrast. The Village House is full of atmosphere and is a delight to the senses. It is very relaxing and is ideal for someone looking for peace and quietMie Cafe: "Best restaurant in siem reap"
We stayed at the city for 3 days and loved the restaurant so much that we travelled far to the restaurant for the second time only to find that it was an off day for them. I'll definitely come back if I had the chance to visit siem reap again.Tugu Bali: "Quiet and Quixotic"
Happy greeting at the airport and then in true Bali fashion a journey of faith to get to your hotel, through by roads and back roads but was that faith rewarded!! Entering the Tugu you enter old magical Bali and it remains that way for your whole stay. Our suite, while expensive was somewhere we could hang out most of the day if we chose with our own little garden and swimming pool. The hotel gardens are beautiful during the day and enchantingl at night. The staff were, without exception, charming and helpful and yoga and the spa a real treat. Loved the food and had the majority of our meals in the hotel. Don't all rush as we want to go back when we can!!Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Must-visit restaurant in Siem Reap for affordable price"
First of all the location: this restaurant is in a dark and isolated village in Siem Reap, and it might be difficult even for taxis to reach it. Recommend keeping a map with you (or google maps) in order to find it more or less easily or help the taxi driver to do it. Went there right after Christmas and only had to wait a few minutes to get a seat (no booking, but it's better to have one). The restaurant has two floors, so you can dine downstairs indoor or at their al fresco terrace. They offer a tasting menu of 5 or 6 courses for 24 or 28 USD that changes every 10 days, the food is amazing! Their style is French-Cambodian, and the chef will come visit you at your table at the end of the meal to offer a plate of fresh fruit after the dessert. Must note that the restaurant is open only from Tuesday to Saturday, so it will be a pity to go there when it's closed (also because it's a reeeeeally dark street haha). Enjoy!
