Mie Cafe: "One of our favorites in Siem Reap"
We had lunch three times at this wonderful restaurant. It was critiqued in an article by Lawrence Osborne at saver.com, and what a find it was. We loved the tuna tartare with mango, the stuffed ravioli, grilled eggplant with pork, the mango passionfruit sorbet, and a chocolate cake to die for. Also their iced lattes are delicious.Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "The best"
We stayed here for two nights and it was wonderful. The individual room is beautifully design and has their own little balcony. The food at the restaurant is excellent. The reception has a great library. It is good to know you are supporting the local community as well. One of the drawback is that given it is so ecofriendly, we kept hearing noises from various animal on our roof which disturb our sleep a little bit.Villa Song Saigon: "Great place to stay with easy boat access to downtown Saigon"
"Stayed in the family suite for just a night at the end of a 4 week trip across Asia. Villa Song was one of the best surprises of the trip, Great Boutique hotel, nice breakfast, decent massages and really convenient private speedboat to connect to downtown Would definitely stay again"Locavore: "Ecstatic"
"Never thought I'd have to go to Ubud to get the best culinary experience in my life. This restaurant ticks all the boxes for me. Phenomenal food using local ingredients, knowledgeable and friendly staff and a great ambiance. Seemingly endless appetisers, 7 courses with a pre-desert and 3 let's call them post deserts. I was in heaven! I especially liked the squid in black dish and the Bangkok Hitam (pork shoulder). We chose a beverage pairing with each course. These beverages were cleverly crafted cocktails. In my opinion they deserve a Nobel prize for cocktails for their cocktail with bacon! I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who is willing to have their tastebuds titillated. Be sure to make a reservation well in advance!"Amata Lanna: "Relaxing and Extremely Friendly Staff"
"A very nice spot for any kind of trip to Chiang Mai. Very clean and the best staff you could find to always make sure you are happy. We always felt welcome and felt like we were family. The rooms are decorated very nicely and has a nice Thai style and the courtyard is a small oasis like setting that is very pleasant. Overall very impressed with the Amata Lana."Rachamankha: "Perfect stay"
I stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is idyllic, calm and peaceful. The architecture and grounds are stunning and perfect for relaxation. I loved the lounge area which was ideal to relax in after a day's sightseeing in Chiang Mai. I was delighted by breakfast - well made, great choice and beautifully dressed tables which made for a lovely start to the day. Rooms are spacious and decorated with antique furniture. The bathroom could do with some updating. I also ate in the restaurant one evening - there were not many guests so quiet but the northern Thai food was delicious. The service at the hotel was great. My stay in Rachamanka really made for a great trip to Chiang Mai - loved it !Satri House: "What a beautiful and unique place"
"This hotel beats all expectations! It feels like staying in someone's private home - so many lovely details! Located a little outside of the city center, which is perfect for some relaxing days at the pool and in the beautiful garden and still is in walking distance from 'downtown'. The food was very tasty - breakfast, snacks, dinner! The massages were very good! The general manager wrote a very nice welcome card, unfortunately he never talked to us, although there were not too many guests..."Tugu Bali: "Paradise within Paradise"
"My husband and I were gifted an incredible trip to Bali. We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Tugu Bali and it was the best choice possible for lavish relaxation! We were treated like a king and queen from the moment we departed immigration. Picked up at the airport with refreshments waiting for the journey in to Canggu. The hotel staff were kind and gracious and attentive at every turn. Our room, Rejang suite, was amazing. Each night we were literally lulled to sleep with ocean sounds as we slept in a perfectly comfortable king size bed! Perfect for a relaxing rest for two tired teachers! We ate breakfast in our room and in the hotel lobby overlooking the beach. We walked in Canggu and enjoyed the shopping and some cool food. At night, we ate in the Amazing Japanese restaurant Ji - the food was heavenly and so good we kept coming back! We had a super cool cocktail and the kobe style beef was to die for! The restaurant is in the most amazing rebuilt temple over 300 years old. If you come to Bali, you have to come to Hotel Tugu and do not miss out on Restaurant Ji. The entire stay was relaxing. And on that note - book a massage because they are gifted in that area as well!! Thanks Hotel Tugu! We will be back and tell all our friends about our amazing stay with you! Room Tip: We stayed in a suite. Rejang! Definitely an excellent choice!"Rachamankha: "A classy sanctuary"
"The Rachamankha gave us the chance to 'step off' from our busy work lives for 5 blissful nights. The setting is quintessentially boutique, with exquisite architecture and design, a chic pool area complete with cushions on lounge chairs, ambient al fresco dining and lots of special places to relax in solitude with a book or cocktail. We stayed in a garden courtyard room which had high ceilings and pared back decor with cool tile flooring and a separate bathroom. The breakfast a la carte options are numerous and tasty, although the quality of the restaurant cooked meals does not quite match the standard set by other aspects of the hotel. I would definitely stay there again. "The Cabochon Hotel: "A beautiful hotel with so many lovely features"
We were welcomed before we even entered the hotel, with a concierge helping us take our suitcases out of the taxi. We were then escorted to the library and given coconuts to help us cool down. The thoughtful details didn't end there, and our stay was wonderful. We were in a great part of town and given lots of advice about getting around on the skytrain. The rooftop pool was a welcome way to cool down at the end of each day. Highly recommended!
