Manda De Laos: "Delicious"

Review by: Ermione19 | Source: Trip Advisor
"The restaurant is very beautiful and the food is delicious! The restaurant is developed around a natural steam with luxurious flora, palms and a lot of different varieties of trees that create an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere and is decorated with fine taste. The kitchen is Laotian with French/westerns influence. We have ordered le pate' Laotian, crunchy rice salad and banana flower salad as appetizers. Tanguy duck tamarind sauce, steamed chicken hormok style and buffalo steak as mains and choix banana as dessert. Every dish was delicious and I recommend all of them. The combination of many different flavors was fine and the result amazing. The portions were generous and the presentation impressive and studied in every small detail. The service was fast and very professional. Manda de Laos is a place not to be missed in Luang Prabang."

Villa Song Saigon: "Beautiful Hotel"

Review by: nigelwelch | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had a great stay here. The best bed we have ever had in a hotel.A lovely tranquil place on the river. Very friendly staff, nice rooms and public areas. Excellent breakfast and dinner. In district 2 about 30 mins from the centre of town. Regular free boat service in to town. A perfect place to stay just a little way from a very busy, noisy and bustling city. Would love to go back "

MesaStila: "Great place to relax our body and mind"

Review by: Onlynasha | Source: Trip Advisor
"This place is really a great place if u want to try an unique experience. - Resort's layout is awesome and well maintained. - They really gives us a great service. We ask for a pick-up service from Jogja, our driver is very nice . He told us a history about Mesastila and gives us recommendation of a tasty local restaurant at Magelang. Even the manager greet us when we walk around the resort. - Their SPA is must try. Hammam steam is already include if you have a treatment here, make sure the staff inform you about it. I have a hammam steam and javanese massage and it's really relaxing my body and make my skin smoother. Totally love it. - The room is very spacious large. We stay at Ambar Villa and I really love the outdoor shower and the bath tub. We can watch scenery while relaxing at bath tub and hearing a nature voice. It's really a great experience. - They do have many daily activities such as coffee plantation tour, yoga, power walk, etc. , and if you want to spend more money there are horse riding, cycling, etc . All you have to do just tell the staff and they would arrange everything. You don't have to worry how to spent a day here. My 1 night stay here feels very short. - My favourite food here is gado-gado. It taste good and beautifully presented. Thank you so much for all the Mesastila team so we can have a great time and great experience here. Tip : - no convenient store near the resort so make sure you bring all the basic necessity ( medicine, cosmetic, etc)."

Jing’s Residence: "Great Property"

Review by: A TripAdvisor Member | Source: Trip Advisor
The highlight of our trip to Pingyao was experiencing Jing's Residence. The accommodations, staff, food, and service were 5 star all the way. Mr. Hadianas, the General Manager, and his excellent staff made you feel like one of the family. It is the ONLY place to consider when staying in Pingyao. Experience authentic old world charm while luxuriating in modern conveniences and amenities. A truly wonderful property. I highly recommend it.

Talabgaon Castle: "Family owned Castle in the Indian countryside"

Review by: ElectraML | Source: Trip Advisor
A group of four friends on the way from Jaipur to Ranthambore stopped at this magical place. It was like stepping back into time, when life was slower, and more elegant. The hotel is the generations old great-house of a noble family from Jaipur, who also happen to be some of the best polo players in India! The grounds include a polo field, gorgeous pool, and lots of little paths that criss-cross the gardens. The family treats you like a guest and like a member of the family — while we were there we were treated to a beautiful supper on the grass in the late afternoon sun — magical! All the rooms have been renovated and have amazing marble floors and fabulous baths, each with its own unique series of nooks and windows with amazing views of the countryside. The little village that is just outside the gates of the castle is charming too. What a delightful contrast to all the business that is India. A great place to relax and experience life at an Indian family 'home.'

Villa Song Saigon: "Perfect"

Review by: Stephen C | Source: Trip Advisor
"Villa Song is located in District 3 outSide the city centre. Some say that is a negative, I dont. The city is chaos which is fine for the excitement....but to wind down and enjoy a relaxed peaceful evening this is the place. It's a beautiful boutique hotel with a fantastic saltwater pool to cool down and a riverfront restaurant and bar to enjoy the breeze and view. As for being outside the city, Villa Song provides a free boat shuttle that drops near the main promenade. You get incredible views and bypass the traffic. The times are limited so plan accordingly. The area has the british international school so mainy restaurants, bars, and grocery stores are close by."

Inle Princess Resort: "Paradise in the middle of another paradise."

Review by: martains | Source: tripadvison.com
"The hotel lays on the lake, and you need to get there by boat. The trip is so relaxing you starting getting into the rythm. The last part of the trip, has to be done rowing, they do not allow the noise of the boat motors bother their customers. It is just incredible. They preserve the customer rest and we even got a note from the direction apologizing because a monastery nearby had night prayers due to some festivity. The room we got was facing the lake directly. We woke up in the morning with the amazing views, and even some ducks feeding right below us. We enjoyed the best sunsets and dawns from our room porch. We visited in December, one of the coldest months there (around 18-20 ºC) but we got the option to light our chimney (yes we had one) and warm up there. The restaurant was spacious and the food amazing. They service was super educated, we got a waiter very young that clearly was being trained and we could only praise the teacher and the pupil. We did not fully use the rest of installations, but we really enjoyed our stay. I would come back if I could."

Chakrabongse Villas: "The perfect oasis in the heart of Old Bangkok"

Review by: heyjessnyc | Source: Trip Advisor
I have used tripadvisor to plan trips for years, but our magical time at the Chakrabongse Villas has finally inspired me to write a review of my own. We could not have found a more perfect place to spend the final 3 days of a 2 week trip to SE Asia. Atom, the manager, and her staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful in making our stay in Bangkok so special, and upgraded us to the Garden View Suite, which was lovely. Tucked away in beautiful, lush gardens right on the banks of the Chao Praya river and directly across from Wat Pho and a short distance to the Grand Palace, the Chakrabongse Villas, is truly a hidden gem. Being in the heart of Old Bangkok meant that we could return to the hotel for a quick dip in the gorgeous pool to cool off from the infamous Bangkok heat before heading out for the next excursion. I highly recommend arranging to have dinner at the Chakrabongse Villas for an unforgettable experience - the dinner we had with a private table set up on the terrace right next to the river was the most romantic, and one of the most delicious, we've ever had (the owner is a descendant of the Thai kings Rama IV & V so the dishes are from the Royal Family's own recipes). We also enjoyed our tour of Bangkok's canals in the Chakrabongse Villa's own long tail boat. If you are looking for the perfect boutique hotel that offers a peaceful, historical oasis in hectic and hot Bangkok, then I cannot recommend Chakrabongse Villas highly enough. Thank you, Atom, for helping to make our stay so extraordinary.

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Amazing Safari – we loved it"

Review by: KathHolloway | Source: Trip Advisor
"A big thank you to Sajith and the team at Leopard Safaris, we stayed here as Part of our honeymoon trip around Sri Lanka and we were not disappointed, we were even presented with a chocolate cake to share with the camp. The food for every meal was traditional Sri Lankan food and it was great to try lots of new dishes. We stayed in the Tusker tent which was brilliant there was so much space in the room, air con, safe, and the open air shower was brilliant. It's so well built if your not a fan of camping this is room for you as it's basically a five star bungalow. Getting up at 4:45am for the early morning safaris was a bit hard, but getting all of the great sightings of the animals especially the baby elephants and leopards. Sajith is and extremely knowledgable bird and wildlife guide and a brilliant photographer too, so if you have any questions he will be happy to help. I managed to get some brilliant photos and I was using a pretty basic Nikon camera I have uploaded on here so if your keen on photography you will love it. Everyone we stayed with in the camp were also lovely especially Terry and Jo which made the whole experience brilliant. If you are thinking of going on a safari in this area stay here as these guys really know how to look after you, track and view all the amazing wildlife that live in Sri Lanka! Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"
