Maison Polanka: "Perfect relaxation"
Maison Polanka is one of the most beautiful hotels we have visited. The Khmer house was like a second home, a bit removed from the rest of the hotel, lovingly decorated and extremely comfortable and relaxing. The best feature is the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, nothing is too much and every wish or question is dealt with immediately. The location is a bit outside the main part of Siem Reap but there is a great restaurant within easy walking distance. Transport is easily organised via the hotel but just walking outside would probably also enable one to catch a remork within minutes. Tours and transport might be cheaper when organised elsewhere but for us convenience was most important and we thought the prices offered by the hotel were very reasonable indeed. Highly, highly recommended.Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "A fantastic experience"
What a wonderful place. The rooms are fantastic, cooking excellent and the staff are just brilliant. We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed, attentive service, the fantastic views from the room. The concept of the hotel is perfectly executed, a joy.Rak Ko Jae Seoul: "Traditional house in bustling Seoul"
"Stayed for a night in the separate house (which has 2 bathrooms) with 3 other friends. The house was well maintained and clean!Hosts were responsive and helpful. You could borrow the hanboks from the host to try on and take Instagram-worthy pictures with the traditional setting. As if you just hopped on the time machine! What we love most was the breakfast! It's ""SEOUL YUMMY!"" (So yummy, pun intended). Just by looking at the picture is enough to salivate!' It's so good that we felt all other meals we had during our trip were just so plain and average! Words can't express how good it was. You have to try it to know it! :) The location of the house is not so straightforward. It would be good if you have wifi-egg to navigate and locate using your phone! Otherwise I would advise you to get detailed directions from the host before the trip. "Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Wow!"
"A fantastic stay at Neeleshwar. A unique resort, on the coast of Northern Kerala facing the Arabian Sea. The staff were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble.Unspoilt scenery enhanced by the amount of space between each living area. Fantastically managed gardens with wonderfully, in keeping buildings. The cottages were beautifully furnished. Breakfast served in the beach restaurant, overlooking the sea. Lunch and dinner in a choice of venues. Fish by the beach or a larger selection at the main restaurant. Food to die for and such a choice. We had some clothes made in the resort shop, excellent service. The spa facilities were great. The views from the infinity pool were unbelievable from dawn to dusk. We reluctantly left, to continue our tour of Kerala,a line up of staff to wish us Bon voyage. A real treat! It's not if, but when, we will return. Stayed January 2017, traveled with friends"Mie Cafe: "Casual dining but very good food"
"We made a reservation via their website for Saturday lunch at 1.30pm. The restaurant had many available tables when we arrived. The 3 of us had a good mix of starters and main course and Mango Mojito which was very tasty. Please see my photos for all the delicious foods we had. The bill was very reasonable and we only spent USD59 in total. A definite must go to to dine place"Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "A little slice of heaven in bustling Bangkok"
A small hotel providing 2 and 3 bedroom self catering apartments, appropriate for small families. Very friendly staff and very good service. Located close to shopping facilities and the BTS train services.Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Great food and service"
"We booked this months in advance. We had the 6 course menu at US$28 per person, which was good value for this standard of restaurant. All the courses were beautifully presented and were delicious. Their cocktails were also tasty. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, we sat inside that had air con. Staff were all very professional and attentive, spoke good English. Recommend you visit."TIGER MOUNTAIN POKHARA LODGE: "Fabulous Respite"
"We stayed here after a grueling six day trek, and what a welcome reward it was! From the moment we disembarked from our jeep, up the steep driveway to the property, our entire group was awed. Literally perched on a mountain top, you have sweeping views from both sides of the mountain. The villas scattered around the property work to maintain privacy, while the beautiful common area has little nooks for privacy, or you can choose to sit on the beautiful verandah, to take in the views, have a drink and rest. The dinner, meanwhile, was delicious, with the tables elegantly set in a non-pretentious way. The villa was beautifully decorated, and again, after our hard work and life in a tent on the trek, the luxurious bed and bathroom was so welcomed! It is truly a retreat - either from the demands that wonderful Nepal asks of you as her traveler, or from the demands that your daily life asks of you. I will certainly return - and might just take in one day in Kathmandu, then come directly back to Tiger Mountain Lodge for three days of beautiful relaxation and rejuvenation. "Manda De Laos: "Beautiful and delicious"
This has to be one of the most beautiful, picturesque places to have dinner in all of Laos. It's just so charming, with all the tables around the glittering lily pond, listening to crickets and seeing the stars above. The food itself was simply delicious - we had the vegetarian tasting menu and everything we ate was scrumptious! What lovely, memorable meal.Reverie Siam: "Stylish and peaceful resort"
"Thoughtfully landscaped and stylishly decorated this is a lovely place to stay. Not too far out of Pai town (they can provide transport), but far enough that you are not run down by some crazy backpacker learning to drive a motorbike. The restaurant food is delicious, especially the a la carte breakfast. (no fighting for the buffet). Khun Dee (the maître d) and staff are most welcoming. They have live music in the restaurant and at the bar beside the river. Altogether a relaxing treat."
