Unique builidng, has own story, adorable breakfast and atmosphere. Wanna visit again if possible. Staffs are all kind and gentle. Reasonable price. Cant forget blue colorour. Come up with over and over :)SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Unforgettable dinner and atmosphere"
We've been there for several times during our journey in Mianmar ,it was always a stunning experience with delicious menu compositions a perfect view over the lake and a professional warm atmosphere, congratulation for set up a such a valuable spot of high quality and hospitality in only a few months .. we will be back ....!Villa Song Saigon: "An excellent small hotel with everything you need"
We have just returned from Vietnam, having had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Villa Song was a delight. Overlooking the river, an oasis of calm in an otherwise frenetic city. The rooms had everything one might need, the hotel had a good sized swimming pool and an excellent restaurant. The staff were delightful and nothing was too much trouble. A shuttle boat into the city centre got around most of the traffic problems. All in all, full marks.Manda De Laos: "Excellent but pricey"
"We were unaware that reservations were necessary but they were very accommodating and set up an extra table for us. We tried one of the sets for two but there was so much excellent food we were unable to finish it all. We did squeeze in the wonderful dessert though! The service was top notch but if you opt to have some wine or beer be prepared to pay top dollar or in this case kip. The total cost was what one would pay in a western country but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will return the next time we are in the area. "Glenburn Tea Estate: "Surpasses all expectations"
"We stayed at the Glenburn after a week travelling around Sikkim and it was the perfect end to the trip. We received a warm welcome on arrival from Faye and Will the management team and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. We were offered refreshments throughout the day (fantastic teas) and found everyone very friendly. The rooms are lovely, each bedroom is different and in a colonial style and the food was excellent with a different theme each evening which we loved. Our stay was relaxing - we enjoyed the walk down to the river where we had lunch, exploring the tea plantation and reading on the veranda admiring the views. Just what we were looking for in a tea plantation. Thanks to Faye and Will and their team for making our visit so memorable It was a few days of luxury that I would highly recommend."Heritage Suites: "Wonderful stay"
Our trip started off in style with the airport pickup in the old Mercedes. The staff were welcoming from the start with cold towels, water, and a welcome cocktail when we arrived. They weren't full during our stay so they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a Bungalow Suite. It was a very nice room and we'd happily pay for the extra charge to have this suite again. We liked that the hotel is a more intimate size than much of what you see around Siem Reap and that it was part of its neighborhood. They let us know when we arrived that there was a festival going on and we might hear monks chanting early in the morning from the temple nearby. When waking up before sunrise to head to the temples one morning we heard the very beautiful chanting, apparently they had started at 4 AM but we didn't hear them at all from our room. We had breakfast at the hotel daily which we enjoyed very much, but didn't try the restaurant at other times as we were out exploring Siem Reap. We booked a guide to visit temples and the Tonle Sap via their companion company Heritage Adventures who we would highly recommend. A great visit and we hope to be back again soon!Villa Song: "Everything I hoped for!"
"Booked the Villa Song for our 3 night stay in HCMC. What a great choice. To be honest I found the city very over-whelming in terms of noise and people and pollution, so VS was an oasis of calm and peace. Our room was tiny, but wonderful and comfortable, and we had a little terrace overlooking the river. The breakfast was delicious every day, and we had lunch and drinks there at least once as well. Staff could not have been nicer - always smiling and helpful. We took the speedboat to the city with an awesome driver and a very nice Swiss couple. On the way back it was the awesome driver, the very nice Swiss couple and at least 6 other people. To say the boat was heavily laden and the journey was a bit nerve-racking would be a masterly understatement but we got there. :) Our last morning there was my birthday - I mentioned that to our waiter because I was ordering Mimosas for breakfast - and at the end of the meal I got a yummy little cake. I wish we had had more time to explore the area around the hotel - but maybe we will come back. The only thing that was bit of a downer was the polluted state of the river. There was always debris floating by and its dirty looking. Of course that is not the fault of the hotel, but it is worth mentioning. I still enjoyed watching it though."Sanak Retreat Bali: "Stunning location & venue"
"We visited the Sanak retreat as the final leg of our Bali honeymoon. The views are stunning. The cabins are simple but have everything you need. The service & food are both excellent. We loved the place. Only thing that spoilt it a bit for us was the weather but as you can see from pics, when the sun is shining it's glorious. Highly recommended for a really relaxing few days."Villa Song Saigon: "Fantastic boutique hotel, plus free speedboat and minibar"
"We absolutely loved this hotel. Beautiful, quaint, great staff, lovely food and wonderful rooms. It's no wonder that this is the top hotel in Saigon on Trip Advisor (at the time of writing). We stayed in a beautiful room overlooking the pool, with a deeply comfy double bed, separate shower room and washing facilities, TV, private balcony and all the usual mod cons included. Their service is second to none. There's a free minibar in all rooms (including beer, water, milk and juice). They serve breakfast at any time of the day (seriously - you could have it at 10pm if you REALLY sleep in), and it's included in the price of the room. And electricity can be left on in your suite when you leave, meaning those devices that keep dying might actually get charged. They have UK plug sockets too. Best of all, as the hotel is not right in the city centre, they put on a speedboat to ferry guests to the main bit of the city, on a first come first served basis. (Although it was never full when we stayed in May). The boat takes approximately 15-20 minutes, but you'd wish it would be longer, because it's brilliant. The last boat is at 6pm, and a taxi back to the hotel should set you back 150,000 VND. If it's more than that, they've got lost! The pool is excellent, as is their restaurant, which is overseen by Kevin the chef from Luxembourg - who will certainly seek you out to say hello, or offer some food and drink recommendations. Food and drink here, incidentally, is a few more pennies by Vietnamese standards, but very fair when compared to the rest of Saigon, and even better when compared to the likes of London. Breakfast, which I briefly mentioned, is very good. The best we had in Vietnam, in fact. And it offers up some really well done variations of Western classics like pancakes or a full English versus your traditional and excellent Pho noodle soup. (If you're really hungry, you can even have both - in fact, it was them who suggested it, which I greedily accepted). Their staff are great, too. When we wanted to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, the front desk organised a speedboat to pick us up from the hotel's own private jetty - and one of the highlights of our trip. If I was to take points off this hotel, and it is being picky, then their airport to hotel transfer service is very expensive in comparison to most hotels we stayed at in Vietnam (all of which have a comparative distance from airport to destination). It was a nice air conditioned private car, but then it was no better than every other hotel provided us. And 1,386,000 VND is a bit steep. Full disclosure: they had quoted this price to me some time before we arrived in Vietnam, and I could have shopped around for cheaper prices, so I can't really blame them for quoting a price to me and then accepting it. But it might be something they could look at in the future! The taxi they booked us for our return to the airport after our stay was much, much cheaper at 300,000 VND. So maybe shop around for your original pick-up. I know there's loads of 'taxi scams' in Vietnam, but you should be able to find a decent service for cheaper transfers if you need. None of that dented out love of Villa Song Saigon, and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. I really miss their speedboat..."Rachamankha: "a superb accommodation in CM"
"We held our wedding and stayed at this beautiful property last month. We have booked two suite rooms facing the library garden (if you know where the hidden library is) and a few superior rooms. Our family and guests loved the peaceful and oriental ambience of the property. Located in the old city, waling distance to Wat Pra Singh, Oasis Spa Lanna and Sunday night market. only 10-15mins drive to the airport. If you would like to stay away heavy touristy area and would like to enjoy the resort indulgence and retreat, this could be an option. If anyone is also considering a destination wedding at non-beach location in Thailand, highly recommended!! The hotel does not offer a package but will customise according to your needs and preference. We would like to thank you for Rachamankha to have made our big day successful and memorable! We would love to visit and stay on our anniversary day again! Please note that the hotel does not allow a child under 12 years though. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"
