Sanak Retreat Bali: "Great bungalows in a splendid location"
We enjoyed a lot our stay in Sanak retreat Bali. The bunglaows have two floors and are ideal for families. The views are great anywhere from the hotel with a large and nice pool. The proposed hiking going to the waterfall is highly recommended with a very nice guide. Restaurant ok but not great. On the expensive side for BaliLe Calao: "One of the better restaurants in town"
Visited twice, good food, excellent service, smiling and smart staff. Have tables on several floors and terraces, indoor and outdoor. Situated in an old newly renovated house, well done. Highly recommend.Samanea Beach Resort: "Samanea. Lovelier the Second Time"
"I fell in love with Samanea two years ago. So many improvements have been made since. The villa, service, staff, food are delightfully better. Still, the best part is the serenity Samanea offers. The view is as breathtaking as I remember it. The sunset is simply spectacular. It’s family-friendly,too. A family brought their infant with them, and another had a toddler. Seeing them added to the natural beauty of the place. It says a lot how amazing this place is. Over-all, Samanea is a must-see, must- experience destination. "A lovely older style resort in Sanur away from the madness of Kuta/Legian. We stayed in a lovely 2 storey ocean front bungalow, just a few steps to the beach, The grounds of the hotel are lovely as is the pool and outdoor eating areas. "We loved our 3 night stay at Satri House. Hotel Manager Jacques and his staff were offering free drinks and canapés at the poolside bar on our first night at the hotel which made for a lovely first impression. We found the decor and service perfect throughout our stay. Sure, some staff didn't have perfect English but they made up for it with their friendliness and professionalism. All our requests were dealt with promptly and efficiently. If you're looking for ambience, comfort and tranquility, look no further. This is a beautiful and quiet boutique hotel. It was a pleasure to return to the serenity each day after sightseeing. Our room was lovely and spacious, even considering that it was set up with two extra beds for our children. Although we didn't use it, the private hot tub and garden were a nice added touch. The pool area was also quite nice. We enjoyed the made to order breakfast, as well as cocktails and dinner one evening. We were able to arrange for sightseeing excursions through the hotel that were absolutely amazing, particularly the sunrise over Angkor Wat that we were able to enjoy in complete solitude thanks to our phenomenal guide. My husband and I stayed at Noel Rodrigo's Yala camp for 2 nights with our 2 daughter's aged 5 and 8. We all had a fabulous time! It really was a highlight of our travels around Sri Lanka. The camp site has a modern design, the tents make the experience more like "glamping" but without loosing the rustic and basic appeal. All of the staff were very knowledgable, accomodating and friendly. Our daughter's could freely explore, run and play freely in the Sri Lankan outdoors while my husband and I could read, relax and enjoy a a drink after our exciting Safari expeditions. The chef on our camp was amazing. The food we ate on the camp was colourful, fresh and so delicious. We were lucky enough to experience an abundance of wild life on our safari's including a lengthy leopard sighing. It was truly fantastic! I cannot recommend this experience, the staff and the quality of Noel Rodrigo's Leopard Safaris high enough.Satri House: "Wonderful hotel"
This is wonderful hotel. We very enjoyed our 3 nights stay here. The scenery around the hotel is like in paradise with lovely garden and a swimming pool. The room is huge with traditional decoration and well equipped. Staff is amazing friendly and helpfultugu lombok: "A place to unwind, forget the hustle and bustle……relax!"

Quiet, relaxed, pampered, healthy and delicious food. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. Wonderful little touches such as flowers on the beds and towels. Always flowers in charming stone basins around the property. Service was superb. Morning yoga jumpstarted my home practice. Perfect get away!
