Sanak Retreat Bali: "Amazing"
"Out of many places of wonderful Bali this is my personally all time favorite. We arrived to our bungalow at a magical moment while the sun was setting, extraordinary view over the rice-field and the valley. The spa is wonderful, you can get a massage in a open massage room surrounded by rice field. The food was ok but overpriced, would not recommend to eat there often. We walked up to the village above and had a wonderful time. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a Balinese stile and you can buy the art from the walls, we found out it was cheaper to buy it there than at the Seminiak market."Nimmu House: "Amazing place for a relaxing & peaceful stay in Leh"
"We arrived in early May and were the first guests of the season. PROPERTY: It's a beautiful property with tons of apricot, apple & walnut trees which were in full bloom. The courtyard / terrace with comfortable seating & hammocks was paradise. One could spend an entire day lazing in the sun, gazing at the amazing views and spotting beautiful birds that would fly by and occasionally perch on the trees to feed (the photographs cannot do it justice - no offense to the photographer). The WIFI is patchy when it works, and that added to the charm of being totally disconnected. ACCOMODATIONS: As it was too cold (especially at night) we stayed in the heritage rooms instead of the tents. The rooms are cozy though small. They have all the basis amenities and the beds are comfortable. The hot water bottles & space heater (when the power was on) made the rooms bearable at night. The typical Ladakhi furniture was a nice touch. Though, watch out for the narrow and short doorways, after a couple of bumps we got used to them. THINGS TO DO: We were there for just 3 days (our only regret was we couldn't stay longer). The first day was spent relaxing on the property to acclimatize, which was a treat by itself. The manager gave us tour of the house and the history of the house and the family that owns it is fascinating (we got to meet some of family and they are gracious and friendly and it was a pleasure meeting them). We also visited the Alchi & Likir monasteries which were built in the 11th century and are very well preserved with beautiful paintings/murals. We also did a day trip to Pangong Tso, which was amazing and a must do. The hotel management made all the arrangements and they were top notch. [A heads-up though, the hotel only accepts CASH (no credit cards); so bring enough!]. MANAGEMENT & STAFF: The best thing for us about Nimmo House, is the management & staff. Couldn't say enough nice things about them. They treated us as family (in a good way!!). It was a pleasure to get to know all of them, hearing their fascinating stories about what brought them to to this remote place from all over the world and their experiences in Ladakh."Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Best of cambodia"
We travelled from Phnom Penh to Siem reap and stayed 2 nights at this beautiful place. We arrived in the evening, then the staff organised a fantastic day trip for us. One more evening and we had to check out. Breakfast was wonderful. Service amazing. Room authentic and lovely. This was my favourite place to stay in the whole of Cambodia. There is a reason Angelina Jolie stayed here when she made her latest film. It's the best. My only regret...I wish we had stayed 4 nights. Battambang deserves more time than a quick stop over.Reverie Siam: "Excellent Experience"
stayed there last week with my family. very nice resort in a superb location by the Pai river the rooms are big with very unique design belong to the early 20th. the restaurant has great ambiance and the staff is very friendly. will definitely come agin. Amit.Bassac Cruises: "An experience not to be missed"
"Boarded the Bassac at Cai Be, a well organised tour, food excellent, the varying scenery of the Mekong terrain makes you wonder how any army (even the USA) would even consider trying to subdue the residents. The was of life as explained by An the guide was an eye opener - they must be 100 years behind the rest of the country. A revelation. Guide An was excellent."Chakrabongse Villas: "Very helpful staff"
Stayed for 4 nights last month & enjoyed it immensely. The location could not be bettered if you are interested in visiting the old city. We found our room rather small but beautifully presented. Tea & coffee was available on the landing outside the room. Having breakfast overlooking the river was a very memorable experiance. The staff were very helpful in pointing out things to see & sorted out taxis & trips for us. Would definitely stay again but in a suite if one was available.Inle Princess Resort: "Just Wonderful"
"This is an absolute gem on Inle Lake. It's in a very quiet part of the lake with a beautiful inlet full of lotus plants. We stayed in a lake front room which was worth the extra cost. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms have twin sinks and an outside shower! Catching the small boat in the morning with a leg rower is something you won't forget quickly. Breakfast and dinner on the deck is rather special too! Red Mountain winery is close by if you want to try the local drop. Highly recommended."The Cabochon Hotel: "Quiet and close to everything"
We stayed recently for three nights and had a wonderful stay. This property is just off Sukhumvit Rd but very quiet and peaceful. Beautifully decorated property with eclectic pieces throughout. Our room was small but very elegant, filled with scent of lemongrass when we arrived. The bed was very comfortable with beautiful linens. Breakfast is served in the library and bar areas at comfy casual sofas. We couldn't go past the pork skewers, sticky rice and spicy sauce. Great coffee and mandarin juice were also really delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They strike just the right balance between providing great service when needed and leaving you to it the rest of the time. We ate at the restaurant with friends on our last night. The food was amazing and we got to try a few new things. All together, a great staySEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "excellent food"
The first time to visit this fine dining of French cuisine and had excellent food and wine and cheese. It is a bit noisy as there is a party at one end . They said since it is raining they had no other place to accommodate them. We must say this is the best french food in the city so far. When the rain is over it will be a nice experience to sit outside on the bank of Inya Lake. Only if they have better music and curtains and drapes to absorb the noise, we will be delighted to enjoy a fine dining.MesaStila: "Wonderful Relaxing Family Vacation"
"My family (wife, toddler and an infant) spent 3 days at MesaStila over the 2015 Chinese New Year. The facilities are wonderful and even with 3 nights stay we did not have enough time to enjoy all the amenities. Our 20 month old daughter loved the opportunity to run free in the grass and splash away in the shallow section of the pool. (...)The staff were very friendly and helpful with all requests. A wonderful time in a wonderful place."
