"We were quite surprised to one minute being surrounded by urban India then suddenly in this idyllic small resort type hotel on the Coast of the Arabian Sea. Fabulous clean beach, perfect facilities, Yoga Room, Spa, 2 restaurants our favourite being right in the beach and large infinity pool. The accommodation is self contained little cottages. Three of us had an exceptional dinner at David's Kitchen where the service was superb, the meals delicious and the evening one which we will long remember. The warm and personal welcome we received from David was the beginning of a wonderful time. The menu was extensive and everything looked so appetizing that we couldn't decide what to choose. But the lamb shank, pork loin and pumpkin soup were done beautifully and served by an attentive, friendly staff. We look forward to going back when we are in Chiang Mai again. Stayed just one night here to do the early morning market trip. Rather than battle with all the hawkers we booked a boat with the hotel as they offered a private boat to visit the market and noodle factory for just 400VND for the two of us. The hotel is spotlessly clean and has very good service. We had a suite at the front of the hotel but the bedroom was quite isolated with no view which wasn’t a problem. They gave a welcome drink plus a voucher to have drink of your choice in the roof top bar. Breakfast was excellent served at our table on the front roof terrace. Only thing which was lacking was a pool but for a one night stop over it wasn’t a problematic Highly recommend.Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Superb hitel"
Stayed here for 2 nights in a corner suite. These are the best as they have brilliant views with 3 sets of doors onto balconies. Absolutely fantastic hotel and very helpful staff. Our breakfast was served in the restaurant on the top floor, where we could sit outside. The quality of the food was excellent. Although it was extremely hot the staff found fans to cool us down. "Our first view of the 4 Rivers Floating Lodge from our boat was amazing and magical and this was only the start of a most wonderful few days staying in our luxurious floating tent with our own Sundeck and steps down to the river where we enjoyed marvellous swimming. The views in both directions along the river, over to the island and across the forest to the hills were glorious. The dining experience sitting eating wonderful food and enjoying the views over the river from the open sides of the dining room was truly memorable and the friendly and most efficient and helpful staff made our few days in this haven of peace, tranquility and beauty an experience we will never forget Shelley and Stephen Ralph"Blackitch Artisan Kitchen: "A master at work"

"Checked into The (lovingly restored) Blue Mansion for a two-night stay in December 2016, my first visit despite having been past the building on previous trips to Penang. From the warm hospitality, comfortable beds, clean big rooms (lovely bathroom a big plus with me), antique furniture, breakfast in the courtyard to coming back to a dim sum basket of local 'kuih' (cakes / sweets) with a handwritten note every evening was a lovely touch - the whole experience was memorable and in my opinion, worth returning for. Pro tip: the hotel is conveniently located next to a food court serving local delights, and across Georgetown Wines for that cheeky vino or late night tapas - thank me later! The Mansion is also home to Indigo, a fine dining restaurant which I tried, enjoyed and highly recommend. For those wanting to learn about the mansion's history, guided tours by some very passionate locals run daily at 11.00am, 2.00pm and 3.30pm - definitely something to fit into your travel itinerary. "Never thought I'd have to go to Ubud to get the best culinary experience in my life. This restaurant ticks all the boxes for me. Phenomenal food using local ingredients, knowledgeable and friendly staff and a great ambiance. Seemingly endless appetisers, 7 courses with a pre-desert and 3 let's call them post deserts. I was in heaven! I especially liked the squid in black dish and the Bangkok Hitam (pork shoulder). We chose a beverage pairing with each course. These beverages were cleverly crafted cocktails. In my opinion they deserve a Nobel prize for cocktails for their cocktail with bacon! I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who is willing to have their tastebuds titillated. "Thanks Sandat for a truly lovely and relaxing few days! Passing through busy Ubud your driver takes you along narrow local roads, passed rice paddies and suddenly you are in a luxurious oasis. We found this to be the perfect mix of serenity allowing us to chill out but close to Ubud's restaurants, shops and attractions when we wanted more action. The staff were attentive but not invasive, the food at the restaurant tasty and fresh (we ate in a couple of times and in Ubud a couple of times), I would thoroughly recommend the Glamping tents for a romantic getaway which is slightly different to a traditional hotel."Reverie Siam: "My favorite place to stay in Thailand"
"I have been living in Thailand and travelling round the country for over 20 years and this is my favourite place to get away. it is simply magical. When you enter the resort, you get a feeling that it is different from anything thing else you may have visited in Thailand and has a lovely homely and relaxing charm about it.
