Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "Paradise"
"This is Thailand's best kept secret. Charming and secluded and really really well run by Massi, the hotel manager. We were in heaven and are dreaming about our next visit. No tvs, no air conditioning, running water that smells a little due to minerals, but none of it matters when you are at the golden Buddha because you are drawn into a Robison Crusoe fantasy that you seldom find anywhere these days. Lots of nature and very little to do except enjoy the surroundings. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "RELAXING"
"Our stay at Neeleshwar was wonderful,,,,it was relaxing ..our cottage was spacious and all five star amenities..very comfortable . excellent care and courteous staff. The manager was also very helpful, My husband was down with fever and the Manager Mr. Jayan kindly arranged for a doctor to visit and also got the medicines for him. the spa is also great.Food can be better. but overall we had a very nice comfortable relaxing weekend!Cars arranged for pick up and drop were on time! Thankyou so much making us feel so good!"Glenburn Tea Estate: "One of the most amazing places we have ever stayed"
"We stayed at Glenburn for a long weekend. It was an unbelievable experience. Set in a truly unique location the estate is immaculately kept. Very nice rooms with magnificent views. The dining room is one very large table where all quests eat together. The food is excellent. The estate arranged various trips for us. They are very accommodating. We took a long walk down hill, several hours through absolutely gorgeous tea plantations. At the bottom Glenburn estate has a little cottage where lunch (with cold beers!) was served. We could have walked back up, but chose to drive back up. Very convenient. its the perfect place to unwind and relax and get a feel for this unique part of India."Villa Song Saigon: "Luxury stay in District 2"
"The most important thing for travellers to know is that District 2 is a fair ways from the centre of HCMC. However, the free shuttle boat ride along the river to the central docks was one of the highlights of staying at Villa Song. On the way back (the last return boat is around 7pm) you can easily hail an Uber for less than $10USD. When we first checked in, we were given room 101 which was small and dark. After speaking with the front desk, we were quickly moved to a room on the 3rd floor that was much bigger and full of light without any questions asked. That generally sums up the service: excellent. The included breakfast is also a real highlight, although recommend waking up early as it gets very hot by 9am. The hotel can also help organize boat trips to the Chu Chi tunnels with La Reve where the boat picks you up right from the hotel. Room Tip: Nothing on the 1st floor"Reverie Siam: "2nd Fabulous Stay"
"I had my 2nd fabulous stay at Reverie Siam, in as many months, and cannot add anything that has not already been said in the other reviews, except for the fact that everything was consistently great for my 2nd stay as for my 1st (see my 1st review) (…) The resort is definitely a gem, a serene & luxurious oasis, that is equally perfect for couples or singles looking for a relaxing, or romantic get-away. (...) The background music & nightly live music adds an intimate enjoyment while enjoying a refreshing cocktail or a glass (or 2!) of wine. All of these things, and the too-many-special-added-touches to mention, creates a wonderful ambience of peace, serenity, intimacy, romance, and enjoyment for discerning couples & singles. I cannot recommend this resort enough, but on the other hand, I would like to keep it my secret! I am already planning my 3rd stay soon at my home-away-from-home!"The Village House: "Gorgeous little place"
"I really LOVED it here. It's no 5 star Marriott or anything... But the staff are super hospitable, accomodation very clean and comfortable. The pool and relaxing areas are great and the food is good-okay. Around the accomodation, there is not very much to do. You cannot swim at the beach located 100m down the street as there may be crocodiles. Apparently the sunset is nice from there though. I stayed in a six person dorm for 123 RM, but it's cheaper on the Agoda website I've been told. This is a great place to relax, swim (the pool is GREAT!), read and relax. Stayed January 2017"MesaStila: "Beautifull place, people, spa and service"
We stayed here for 4 days This place is really amazing, surrounded by beautifull mountains and nature, with A nice spa, Good food and very helpfull and nice people! Visit the borobudur and the coffeeplantation!Reverie Siam Pai: "Best couple getaway in Pai"
This could be one of the best kept secret place in Pai. We stayed in a mountain view suite which is very spacious. The hotel is so lovely and the food at the main restaurant is so good that we were really reluctant to go anywhere. A perfect stay!maisons war kor: "“Fabulous stay”"
"Although a little further away from Battambang (around 2km) than other hotels, the beautiful surroundings, well-appointed rooms and excellent food are well worth it. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful. We were there to celebrate a 60th birthday and they arranged dessert with candles and sang happy birthday! We had a great tour of all the sights around Battambang with Mr Dan the tuk tuk driver, arranged by the hotel. Also, we had a cookery class in the restaurant just for two of us which was a great experience. Thank you for a brilliant stay."The Island Lodge: "Total relaxation"
"Stayed here near the beginning of our Vietnam holiday, having spent the first 2 nights in HCMC, and it was a perfect place to relax and acclimatise to the new time zone. All the staff were really attentive and welcoming, and there was a very relaxed vibe about the place. It was a nice touch for the owners to welcome us personally on our arrival. On our departure, they also thanked us for staying and gave us a little gift of some chocolates, which was much appreciated. We loved the food - the menu was varied and interesting and also reasonably priced. It was also enjoyable to sit in the restaurant and look out over the continuous activity of the river. As we were there for 2 nights, we were able to do several of the activities on offer, including the bike ride along the fish farm trail. We absolutely loved this, and a special thank you must go to our guide, Khai, who proved a lot of fun and was able to tell us lots about the area. We also enjoyed the pool and the gardens. We shall certainly be back here, as we're already planning our next holiday to Vietnam, and this would make a good stop either at the beginning of the holiday or at the end, particularly as they offer transfers to and from the airport."
