Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Peace, Tranquility & Comfort."
"My title epitomises Neeleshwar Hermitage. This was our 3rd visit & it was as good or better than the previous 2 visits. For absolute peace, tranquility & as a stress buster from our hectic schedules Neeleshwar is the place to go to. The rooms are big & spacious,the bathrooms even bigger & a nice clean swimming pool. To add to this you have the beach & ocean right at your doorstep.... what more can one ask for. This beautiful resort is located 15mins from Bekal fort & a 2 hr drive from Mangalore in the quiet town of Neeleshwaram. Now coming to the staff, Jayan & his team have perfected the art of being perfect hosts. Hospitality oozes from them & they are ever smiling. The food has improved a lot since our last visit & they have more variety of dishes. Shashi & his team are willing to satisfy your taste buds. Basically 5 Stars to all the support staff.... Melbin, Rajitha, the head chef to name just a few. Thanks to all of them for making our trip memorable. Getting to see the Theyyam ritual was a added bonus."Poring Hot Spring Nature Reserve: "Well established hot spring and nature reserve"
"The hot spring and nature reserve is pretty established, but im afraid a lil too developed. It has lost its own nature identity. The butterfly park, the rafflesia farm etc. Its a good nature reserve for family and elderly. If you are a nature and adventure seeker, this might be abit too developed. Kinabalu/ bako national park in Sarawak will be a better option No animals free roaming in the nature reserve, the hot spring too is filled in personal tubs. Alot of attraction need to pay extra. On the good side, do hike up for the waterfall. It is a pristine condition waterfall that pretty easy to reach. Alot of basic necessities are provided. Toilets, changing room, water supply are all kept in good condition."The Cabochon Hotel: "Quiet and close to everything"
We stayed recently for three nights and had a wonderful stay. This property is just off Sukhumvit Rd but very quiet and peaceful. Beautifully decorated property with eclectic pieces throughout. Our room was small but very elegant, filled with scent of lemongrass when we arrived. The bed was very comfortable with beautiful linens. Breakfast is served in the library and bar areas at comfy casual sofas. We couldn't go past the pork skewers, sticky rice and spicy sauce. Great coffee and mandarin juice were also really delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They strike just the right balance between providing great service when needed and leaving you to it the rest of the time. We ate at the restaurant with friends on our last night. The food was amazing and we got to try a few new things. All together, a great stayVilla Song Saigon: "Superb and enchanting"
"You have to go to believe how unique it is . The speed boat to downtown Saigon was the icing on the gateau. We arrived mid morning and were offered complimentary breakfast . Our rooms were most exciting . I shall never forget Villa Song . "Villa Song Saigon: "Magnificent hotel and fantastic staff"
Villa Song really is an impressive hotel, set in pristine grounds on the banks of the Saigon River in District 2. My family and I had the most divine stay, which coincided with both of my parents' birthdays. In addition to the accommodating staff who were considerate of my family's needs, my parents were treated like royalty and were each presented with a beautiful bunch of flowers and a cake at breakfast. The rooms were fabulous and plush, the free mini bar was a really nice touch. We took the extremely convenient shuttle speed boat to the centre of town along the Saigon River and we also enjoyed an afternoon relaxing by the pool in luxury. Highly recommended place to stay, thank you so much to Ms. Thuy and all the staff for helping to make our stay so memorable.Satri House: "Absolute oasis of calm and tranquility"
After the hustle of Hanoi we flew into Luang Prabang and spent 3 nights at the Satri House Hotel, it was superb. In easy walking distance from the town centre, fantastic beautifully furnished room and lovely grounds with charming pool. The staff were also first class --- I can't think of a single criticism. We have travelled in Indochina before and use trip advisor regularly but this is the first time I have ben moved to write a review ---it was excellent.Locavore: "The best food ever"

My fiance brought me here on our anniversary last year. From the beginning upon arrival until farewell, we had a spotless service. The staff is highly attentive, yet undisturbed our romantic moment. Perfect! The food? can't ask for more. You should experience yourself for Chef Kevin's masterpiece in this beautiful restaurant. Thank you Cuca and team for the lovely dinner. "High in the clouds perched on a little mountain near Darjeeling sits the most incredible retreat in all of India. I looked forward to my stay for months, but nothing could have prepared me for just how WONDERFUL this place is. It's probably the closest thing I can imagine to being royalty- such a beautiful example of old colonial splendour, and you are treated like a VIP. I enjoyed the communal dining, where I met lovely people from around the world, and it's pretty special to be able to just go for a guided hike anytime you like- there is always a guide on hand. Though it was mostly cloudy when I stayed, in the mornings the clouds parted and I was lucky enough to get an incredible glimpse of Kachechunga (wow!!) Rates seem expensive, but include so much (transfers, laundry, all food, all hikes, all activities!) that I can't really complain about the price. Everything was of perfect quality. On a side note, I stayed as a solo female, and I felt very comfortable, and my privacy was completely respected. Room Tip: They all have their own charm. Arrivare al sandat è complicato per colpa della strada accidentata è situato nel mezzo delle risaie di ubud ma la struttura è finemente curata in ogni dettaglio. Abbiamo soggiornato in una tenda con piscina privata l'arredo è bellissimo e molto moderno.le camere vengono pulite una volta al giorno ma oltre agli asciugamani vengono cambiate le lenzuola giornalmente .Il personale è super gentile ti servono in tutto e per tutto c'è una navetta gratuita per il centro di ubud e si può concordare quali escursioni fare direttamente alla reception senza intermediari. I proprietari sono italiani e la cucina è ottima grazie a una signora che insegna ai locali cosa vuol dire "cucinare ".lo consiglio vivamente a chi vuol rimanere fuori dal traffico e soprattutto dallo smog delle città balinesi per noi è stato un paradiso!
