Reverie Siam: "Perfect Getaway"
Chose this hotel based on tripadvisor and was very pleased. It is truly a quiet, restful, peaceful place next to the Pai River and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Pai. The villa room was spacious and very quiet, with a huge bathroom and jacuzzi tub. The restaurant is the best in town--regardless of what you may see on tripadvisor! We ate all our evening meals but one on a 4-night stay and were happy with all of them. The made-to-order breakfasts were more than we could eat and very tasty. The only problem we had was with the internet on the last day which seemed to block most of the websites we use, including Fox News!David’s Kitchen: "Just wow"
"We found David's Kitchen on TripAdvisor and decided to go there for my birthday dinner. It was just as spectacular as everyone described. The service was amazing. We came in to our name on our table and the wait staff all greeted us by name. The dishes were never on our table for longer then about 2 minutes and our drinks were always topped up. The food just melted in my mouth. It can't be described, you just need to try it for yourself. It is expensive of course but well worth it. This is somewhere that I normally wouldn't be able to afford but thought we'd splash out for my birthday and I am very very satisfied."Bali Jiwa Villa: "Unforgettable"
We stayed here in May 2014 as a part of our honeymoon. We enjoyed every second. The location is fantastic. We loved the atmosphere and wouldn't change a thing in this place. Time passes and we really miss Bali..Really hope to come back someday!Tugu Bali: "Marvelous"
I and my husband just had an amazing meal at this restaurant. It's a very stylist place with a really lovely ambience. The food is absolutely delicious with alot of choice. What more do you want! Just visit!!! This lodge is set out of the way with no interruption from anyone or anything. Grab a book - sit of the ledge and let time just pass - no need to stay here for a week - a day or 2 and you'll be ready for the next part of your trip!Maduzi Hotel: "Boutique elegance off Sukhumvit"
The hotel is small, at just 40 rooms and is situated on a triangular corner site beside Soi 16, hence the unusual layout of some rooms. It is packed with interesting objets d'art. When I arrived, I was upgraded to a corner suite, which was just delightful. The bed was an enormous California king, I had a big desk and chair, armchair, breakfast table and 2 chairs, plus a huge ensuite with shower and jacuzzi bath. The toilet was separate and there was even a luggage room on its own. All decorated with understated stylish panache. Also in the room was an espresso maker, CD player and a free minibar of soft drinks and some snacks. Breakfast was served in the downstairs restaurant. While individual dishes were interesting, with a European influence, I must say I was disappointed by the portion size. I would have preferred a buffet, but maybe that is not an economic option in a hotel that size. It is 5 minutes easy walk to Asok station on the BTS. Staff service was friendly and individualistic. Would definitely like to revisit.Pindaya Farm House: "Relaxation"
Withing easy reach of the Pindaya shrine, this modern farmhouse in a traditional style is a place of calm relaxation, surrounded by pretty countryside, and lovely views from the house. Really nice welcome, excellent food, great room. Loved watching the sunset, and the morning (we tried doing watercolours). Bicycle rides provided.Sanak Retreat Bali: "Mountains and Rice Fields"
"Hotel 4 in stunning location 500 metres above sea level. I love it up here. Perhaps not really for beach lovers, but the infinity pool is fabulous with views across rice fields extending down the valley. Individual traditional wood cabin accommodation with huge and very comfortable bed. Spotless modern bathroom, wonderful private veranda with mountain views. Superb restaurant with elevated terrace and views serving Balinese cuisine with a french twist. My rare steak was to die for. Easy access to stunning trekking to waterfalls through beautiful jungle booked in advance or through the hotel. This is a proper flavour of the beautiful island of Bali. FANTASTIC! "We stayed here during our honeymoon in June 2015 and it was amazing, we loved every minute The hotel is situated in its own grounds so was very quiet and relaxing, when we were at the pool we were the only people so it was like having our own private pool The room was lovely and the bed was comfy, the decor was modern but traditional at the same time, also flip flops, umbrellas are provided The shower was powerful and the Molton brown toiletries were a nice touch Whilst we were here we had a tasting meal and the food was delicious, the coriander salad was amazing, we also had a traditional Thai massage which was great and set the relaxing tone for our stay here The hotel is within walking distance to the town and the temples near by but you can just jump in a Tuk Tuk if you fancy, by the restaurant they have little business cards with a map on them incase your driver isn't sure where to go so I just kept this in my purse whilst out and about I would night recommend going to the elephant nature park of staying in Chiang mai, it was the highlight of our trip"Inle Princess Resort: "Paradise on Earth"
This resort is paradise and we had a wonderful stay here. Attracted since we saw the photos on the Internet BT when we came here, we were shocked with it's beauty. A peaceful place with river view. Very traditional and beautiful. The room is huge with Oriental decor. I love sitting outside of the balcony and watching the life on the river. Best moment of my life.
