We visited Chaing Mai in early November, 2017. Travelling were my wife and I, plus our son and his wife. We booked a two-room suite for 4 nights at Rachamankha and were absolutely delighted with everything about this wonderful hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very spacious. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms spotlessly clean and modern. The buildings and grounds are gorgeous and the pool and public spaces are very inviting and provide a relaxing retreat after a busy day of visiting temples, markets, and the many other sites in and around Chaing Mai. The complimentary breakfast is fabulous and we were warmly greeted each morning by Ahwu who, along with the rest of the staff, provided excellent service. The location in a relatively quite corner of the old city couldn't be more convenient for walking or riding. As a bonus, it's just around the corner from SP Chicken which serves the most delicious (and inexpensive) grilled chicken ever! I would most certainly stay at Rachamankha again and recommend it to anyone visiting Chaing Mai.Manukan Island Resort: "Great stay in a hillside villa"
We stayed in a hillside villa. The villa was lovely with two balconies with amazing sea views and access to the private beach. It had all the amenities we needed. The staff are extremely helpful and polite and Ben made sure we had a great experience. The food in the restaurant was good and it has a nice atmosphere in the evening when the day trippers have headed back to KK.. There is also a house band happy to attempt any request you have.. Would definitely recommend a stay here.Supanniga Eating Room: "Most delicious crab"
Loved it! Tried three types of crab, my favourite was definitely the one in red curry sauce. Super friendly staff and a few new dishes I haven't seen at other Thai restaurants. "That is really really nice place in term of pure natural views and fresh foods with low costs. The people there are so friendly and helpful. I went there so many times, including my honeymoon trip, whenever i want to kill work stress and stay in pure nature and enjoy local fresh foods. The chef there is also great. He can cook so many delicious foods and sweets especially ice-cream, my favorite sweet, with hygiene and fresh. Not only day time that i can go on many excursion places, but also at night time i can go to see amazing fire flies with romantic kayak for couple. whoooooh.... so many more! more than i can say! I only stayed 1 night this time around but I really wanted to go back as I was in the area again. Once you enter the gate, you are in a secluded area, although the main road is just behind. The peacefulness that emanates from the grounds forces you to switch off. Not much to do at the property but that's the whole point: listen to nature around you, watch the life on the Mekong and just relax!!Cuca: "Hier moet moet MOET je naartoe!"
"Ok, het is geen Indonesisch eten, dus wil je alle dagen van de week rijsttafel eten, moet je hier niet zijn. Maar dan alsnog... MOET je hier naartoe! Naast dat het restaurant er simpel maar relaxt en netjes eruit ziet, is de ontvangst ook nog eens heel vriendelijk. Maar nog belangrijker: het eten is heerlijk! Laat je niet tegenhouden door het woord ‘tapas’ want het heeft niks te maken met de Spaanse taferelen die je wellicht associeert aan een La Cubanita. Nee. En nog eens nee. Ik heb 3 gerechten gekozen (had er wel meer willen nemen..) en allen smaakten heerlijk en apart. Uiteraard als afsluiter een dessert; Bali breakfast. En, je raadt het al, dit was ook mega genieten. Extra nice; ik zat buiten en kreeg meteen een muskito spray, ik was alleen en kreeg gezellig wat tijdschriften op tafel gelegd. Kortom: een hele dikke aanrader! (Excuses voor het hoge “wat schrijf ik overenthousiast” gehalte, maar ik ben erg blij dat ik dit restaurant toevallig ben tegengekomen en nu dus aan iedereen aan kan raden)"Labyrinth: "Truly outstanding"

"We recently stayed at the Villa Song for the first leg of our honeymoon in beautiful Vietnam. After a choice of two rooms, we opted for a suite with balcony overlooking the river at the front of the hotel - what a fab choice! The hotel oozes charm and elegance with stunning French colonial decor and a relaxing pool area away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Food and service is exceptional with a particular thanks to the front of house team and Freddie the restaurant manager who made us feel very welcome. "Me and my husband stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights over the good Friday weekend. Our pick up from the airport was arranged by the hotel and it was done in a timely manner. We stayed in the seashell villa with a private pool. Rooms are spacious and having a private pool is def an added advantage. They have a really good infinity pool with a beautiful view of the sea. The in-house resturant has a good selection of Thai food options. We also tried the Sunday brunch which was a bit pricey, but had a great spread. They also have a good gin collection. Last but not the least, staff is extremely helpful and friendly. While the place is away from fisherman's village, it's easily accessible via taxi even at night. The only negative aspect was that the wifi connectivity in the room was patchy. Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"
