Mathis Retreat: "Quelle Merveille"

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. What about as the superlatives are many. We stayed in the bungalow and what comfort .... it is a quiet intimate place a splendid view of rice fields. Possibility to join the center of Ubud on foot in 20mn through rice fields and villages. I highly recommend The breakfast is fabulous and the meal restaurant Terracotta Go there with confidence

Very elegant and quiet with lovely art work and antiques throughout. Excellent service and extensive breakfast. Very nice pool. Small and personal. Puts you in a great mood. They pick you up and take you to the airport as part of the service.

Mathis Retreat: "Small, peaceful and calming paradise in the ricefields"

My boyfriend and I started our Bali journey in the heart of the island. After a good hour drive we arrived at the Kenanga Boutique Hotel in Ubud and were totally amazed by it only after a few minutes of our stay. Away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud downtown, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the rice fields. A sleep in the traditional-inspired suite made all the anxiety and jetlag disappear, the staff was extremely nice and made us feel very welcome, while the whole atmosphere left us feeling relaxed and peaceful. Beside the outstanding views, Kenanga has the most amazing infinity pool. A swim by the rice field panorama, relaxes your mind in a nicest way possible. I had one of the best breakfasts in there, the food overall was extremely delicious (I would highly suggest you visit their Terra Cotta restaurant for a healthy meal with the best view ever) The hotel was the perfect starting point for exploring the Ubud area (...) The reason more why I would recommend a Kenanga stay is the fact that they are highly connected with the local community, therefore they are helping good local people make their living. The manager was very kind and helpful, providing us with many relevant information. The overall experience exceeded our expectations, a calming and relaxing feel made us forget about the worries and opened the Bali trip we would surely never forget.

Villa Mathis: "Une merveille"

I stayed at Villa Mathis for a week in April 2017 with my son .... it was a marvel. Everything was perfect, beautiful setting, decor, cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, the tranquility of the place .... a real haven of peace and serenity. The kitchen, also a delight! I recommend the Rice Villa, simply Wonderful!

Manda De Laos: "Excellent Lao Food Overlooking Water Lilies"

What a treat to eat a dinner here overlooking the Lily Pond! I got the Luang Prabang pork sausage to start and then the duck with tamarind sauce, both of which are excellent. They had a wide variety of wines and cocktails as well to complement your meal. Definitely worth a stop if you are a foodie in Luang Prabang!

Free flowing of Tea and coffee all the date make you rewind apart from Coffee making machine within each room. Day start with healthy breakfast and ambiance feel you that you are away from worry and outside world. Signature room /Deluxe room I have stayed was with Jacuzzi bath tub, Mini Bar ( Free to Use), LED TV and many more .. Bath toiletries provided was of premium type. One can try choice of drinks free for one time apart from Tea and Coffee. I wish to inform you that comfy bed was the best bed I have ever tried. Lastly, this is the best hotel out of 20 Countries I have stayed and would like to stay again one more time."

Reverie Siam: "Outstanding! Loved everything about it"

"Amazing service, big and quiet rooms, lots of green, great swimmingpools, beautiful decor, best restaurant in town, great price. This hotel is a hidden gem. They even offer local mobile phones for guests to take when going to town, so they can call the hotel for sending a driver to pick them up. I am 100% happy with this hotel. I highly recommend it."

Tugu Bali: "tranquil, beautiful hotel with impeccable service"

Absolutely loved this hotel. So well looked after by the gorgeous staff. Fabulous food with breakfast served anywhere anytime in your choice of private enclaves around the hotel. It was a peaceful & beautifully appointed hotel that has tons of Indonesian charm - stunning gardens & antiques. Husband & son were happy to go out surfing, but I didn't want to leave the tranquility of Tugu.
