The Island Lodge: "Peak into the Mekong Delta While Sitting in Luxury"

This is a special place, sitting in the middle of the river at the end of an island. It is right in the middle of endless groves of Longan and other fruit trees. The breeze from the river keeps you naturally cool as you enjoy some of the freshly baked goods and/or fresh Vietnamese food. Everything about this place was excellent: rooms, facilities, service, food. Just a couple hours from Saigon, this is a great getaway from the city. Plan to go back often.

Villa Song Saigon: "Just Wonderful"

"We loved staying here. It is a beautiful oasis in the middle of a bustling city. They service was impeccable! They allowed us to check in early and check out VERY late which was so convenient for us. They have a wonderful scheduled boat that takes you to the center of Saigon in 15 minutes which was just so fun. The idea that you can have your free breakfast any time of the day is perfect! They scheduled a tour for us and we were picked up right on the hotel's dock. The pool was nice and quiet. The restaurant is right on the river and has very good food "

Villa Song: "Boutique hotel, away from busy city"

If you are coming to Ho Chi Minh and want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, then this is the place to stay. The Villa Song Saigon is a very boutique-like hotel nestled in the ex-pat district of Ho Chi Minh. We immediately sensed we were in the nicer area of town, as gated estates filled the street. Although it is a longer taxi ride to get into town, the hotel does offer a complimentary boat shuttle into the city center. This ride takes about 15 minutes. The hotel rooms are very clean and breakfast is complimentary. They added a special touch by providing us a honeymoon cake. The staff was very friendly and we highly enjoyed our stay.

Samanea Beach Resort: "Absolutely Perfect"

"Wonderful hotel, we extended our stay from 2-4 nights. The grounds are beautiful, large swimming pool and set on the ocean accessible by private jetty. The rooms (or suites) were spacious, exceptionally clean, with gorgeous and comfortable 4 poster beds with mosquito nets. The barroom is again spacious, the big surprise was the large adjoining outdoor area with open shower and oversized round rock bathtub. The rooms had adjoining outdoor areas with comfortable chairs and table were you can relax or dine also included a hammock. The staff were wonderful, would bring our meals and drinks to the beachside cabanas or while we were swimming in the pool. Food at the restaurant was good quality and they made excellent coffees. My only suggestion would be some stand up paddle boards or kayaks as the water was so calm it would be perfect. Whilst at the higher end of the hotel market in Kep, price was very reasonable. A place suitable for all travellers, families, couples and friends also solo if your looking for some serenity."

Villa Song Saigon: "Stunning start to our honeymoon"

This is a gorgeous place to stay. Rooms are very comfortable, limitless breakfast whenever you want and the staff can't do enough for you. Shame the shuttle boat was out of action but the management did not hesitate to reimburse for our taxis to and from town. Highly recommended.

Discover Muang La | Visit Laos | Luxury & Boutique Hotel: "Probably the best place I have ever stayed"

"My family and I spent two nights in this hotel as part of our trip around Laos in early January. I was immediately impressed by the homeliness of the hotel and the warm welcome we received from the lovely Dutch manager. The pool is absolutely stunning and the hot pools are so nice to spend time in. My only qualm is that the water in the hot spring is normally far too hot so it might be slightly better to mix the water with some cooler water. The staff are all very attentive, however the a la carte nature of the meals means that it can often take a little while for your coffee to arrive. The quality of the food is Michelin star. The dinners are amazing and I love how they involve so much local food. I would say that there is possibly a little too few carbohydrates for my teenage brother and I and some bread on the table would not have gone to waste. The rooms are really very nice, the shower was really warm unlike some of the other places we had stayed in Laos. The things I like most about this hotel are the ways in which they think about everything you could need. For example they offer to clean your shoes for you after a day of walking around the mountain villages or how they place towels by the hot tubs so you don't have to remember your own or how they create a little fire pit next to your table at dinner to keep you warm. My favourite must have been when we came home from dinner the first night to find a hot water bottle in the bed. Absolutely amazing! The activity that we went on was really interesting. Our guide was very well informed and answered all our questions. They were also very willing to adapt to our requests such as visiting the local health centre."

Villa Song Saigon: "Superb"

"Great hotel - peaceful retreat from the Saigon hustle, complete with complementary speedboat service to and from the city centre (20 minutes by boat)! Excellent anytime of day breakfast service, and for a city hotel, a really good pool-size"

Villa Mathis: "Married at La Villa Mathis"

I got married here in 2011. We had checked in late as we had to drop our guests off to another hotel they were staying at. However when we checked in, Bruno had actually called in to see how we were and if we had any question or queries to let him know and he'll be in the following day to meet us (my husband & I). This whole place was amazing! We loved the food and also note that this was our first time to Bali as well. Our room was amazing with alot of room and I loved how we entered and the bath tub was filled with flowers. It did get dark at night as our room was at the bottom and when we would come back from excursions, we would have a guard walk us back to our room but after a night or two we were confident to go on our own. The night before our wedding, I had asked if the ladies from our wedding guests could stay the night and the staff organised rooms quickly for them. Our wedding day, Bruno's wife (sorry I forgot your name! lovely lady) had met up with me to see how I was feeling and making sure everything was getting organised as planned. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our first time to Bali and to have our wedding here was amazing! I would be coming back here hopefully on our fifth year anniversary! Tugu Bali: "Beautiful Old Bali Style"

"I had spend a couple of night's at the Tugu over Nyepi (Balinese day of silence) and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms are stunning, full of little details that make your stay pleasant and also very unique - you feel in Bali, not like this could be any resort around the world. The staff is very sweet and friendly and the location is unbeatable, walking distance from the beach. "

Pindaya Farm House: "Peaceful Place"

We really enjoyed our one-night stay here. It was peaceful, relaxing, and the food was so tasty and fresh! The room was clean (a space heater would have been useful!) and our little balcony gave a great view of the sunset and surrounding hills. Lovely!
