Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "Sounds like a cliche but this really is a hidden gem"
"Really great characterful and classy colonial style hotel. Very comfortable, friendly helpful staff and a very good Thai restaurant. Somebody with a lot of money and style has set this hotel up. Lots of lounge areas with interesting trinkets and there's a full shared kitchen on the second floor. A short walk from the sky train so easy to get to other parts of the city."Villa Song Saigon: "Beautiful hotel"
It's a bit of an odd drive to get here, out of main areas and thru village streets but well worth the drive. It's a very boutique hotel. No lifts and 3 floors. Beautiful wooden floorboards everywhere. Our reception greeting was friendly and very easy check in. We had to book 2 rooms (travelling with teens) and do wish we had upgraded at least our room to have a balcony. The windows on the 3rd floor are small but do open fully which is nice. The rooms are small but beautifully appointed. Everything has been finished to a very high standard. Lovely bathrooms and very comfortable bed. The outside restaurant/bar is a gorgeous area. Exactly what we expected and part of reason for our booking here. It's a beautiful spot on the banks of the river watching the sunset (or rise). The food and drinks are really good. The dinner menu isn't Vietnamese but after almost 3 weeks we didn't mind having some fusion food. Seafood was all beautiful. The staff are lovely. The pool area is nice, a large pool, very warm with seating around it. The pool is at the back of the hotel and has no bar or cafe attached to it. The gym is small with only 1 treadmill but it's a good quality one. The free mini bar is 2 beers 3 waters 1 juice and a soft drink. The coffee in the room is terrible, luckily we bought everything we need to make our own cafe sua da with us. The free boat into the city is great. We are doing the Cu Chi tunnels tour arriving by boat and the boat driver is able to pick us up from the hotel jetty (and drop us back here) saving us 45 min trip each way to and from the meeting point. Very happy with this hotel, definitely recommend itCuca: "Wonderful"
"Went to Cuca last night for our first visit We had the Chefs Tasting Plate..what an amazing experience Beautiful variety of tastes and textures Great value for money We will definetly be back. Don't miss out on the Bali Breakfast Dessert when you go there Lovely staff and wonderful service ... Thank you to everyone at Cuca"The Twelve Hotel: "A warm welcome in a haven of peace in Bangkok"
What was our surprise in the middle of all the excitement of the city, and be in an oasis of greenery and tranquility the second surprise comes from the welcome when we received very warmly by Athy, one of the owner. This store human-sized hotel offers very spacious and comfortable rooms have simple, elegant décor. A swimming pool is at the center of each building and vegetation around it makes us think that we are outside of the city center. Breakfasts are hearty and very diversified, personalized even every day we received very good advice of Sebastian, 2nd owner, and Athy when the routes and trips to Bangkok We seemed to be received with friends and went back and told us that we would have stayed longer ...Villa Song Saigon: "The best boutique 5star Hotel of Saigon"
We have enjoyed every minute of our stay at Villa Song. The extremely warm-hearted and friendly staff made us feel at home in no time. The great location of the Villa directly at the Saigon river in the very hipp and up-coming District 2 of beautiful Saigon adds to the overall quality of the stay. We will surely come back!Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Relaxing beach resort"

Simple, authentic, amazing home cooked food, cute little rooms, great views over the valley and right in the middle of nature. Aye, the host cooks all organic from the garden and around. The farm is a place for nature lovers curious to discover rural Burma. A fantastic experience to live! a true "secret Retreat" away from busy citylifeSlow Villas and Spa: "Sublime level of accommodation on Gili Air"
If your budget allows, this is a no brainer. SLOW is a beautiful experience. The villas are stylishly and luxuriously appointed creating an ambiance rarely seen on Gili Air. The bed was especially comfortable (five star hotel quality) and the private pool and spacious garden added to our memorable stay. Highly recommended - without doubt the BEST accommodation on Gili Air.Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Great hotel"
Excellently located hotel, right by the river front. The rooms (suites) are super - very large and stylishly furnished, and makes for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The surprise New Year's gifts were totally unexpected and a really wonderful thought. The breakfast was the best we had on our trip - we could have spent an hour just eating - with a huge selection of dishes to order and a panoramic view of the river. The free welcome drink is also excellent - can choose anything from their drinks menu including cocktails etc.Locavore: "Another amazing culinary experience in the best restaurant in Bali"
I had another amazing meal, 7 courses, with loads and loads of surprising, creative, interesting and very tasty morsels both at the beginning of the meal and around the dessert course. Presentation is a marvel. As usual I had the "carnivore option," but my two friends opted for the "plant-based option." All of us were pleased beyond expectations. I love oak-otak and Locavore's version, with the duck egg aioli (I guess that is what I would call it) was perhaps the star of my meal, though the old favorite--Into the Sawah--of course was delicious. The special Locavore tomato "soup" was, as always, spectacular. And i love the "freebie" cassava roti too. All seven courses were. My friends raved about their veg tasting menu. And I must admit I was a bit disappointed that I did not choice to have the Banana Blossom. This must become, like Into the Sawah, a main stay of the Locavore team. Service was super friendly and professional. Cannot recommend Locavore highly enough.
