4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Truly remarkable!"

"Well, this is an extraordinary and lovely place to stay. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we had stayed longer. Such a peaceful environment, excellent staff, excellent service. Food more than adequate. We took two of the trips out - to the Tatai waterfall (upstream) and to the fishing village and mangrove swamps (downstream). Both were excellent. Also went out to see the fireflies one evening - they were definitely in cooperative mood, flashing away like crazy. Bathing in the river, straight from our sundeck, was magic. Altogether even better than expected - and we expected it to be good. Thanks to all the staff for a truly memorable experience! Room Tip: We had the tent nearest to reception. Very convenient, "

Jing’s Residence: "best hotel in Pingyao"

Manager and staffs are like family, provide invisible care when staying. Decent decoration, low key, quiet, with the best combination of sense of traditional beauty and modern experience design. A must staying place in Pingyao.

Chakrabongse Villas: "A tranquil haven in the middle of Bangkok"

"We stayed for the last night of our Asia tour and wished we had booked for longer. The Villa is a beautiful place in lush tropical gardens on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Diner and breakfast were superb and you really cant beat the view from the dining terrace. The staff were super friendly, making it all in all a lovely end to our trip. I hope their literary weekend was a success as they were all very excited to be hosting it and opening their doors to the general public for the 1st time."

Maison Polanka: "An oasis in the city"

We felt well taken care of by the staff - every time we arrived we were greeted with cold towels and a willingness to help with any details to make our trip more enjoyable. The property is utterly an oasis in the city - tons of greenery and the pool the perfect way to cool off on a hot afternoon. Since there are not many rooms, we felt like we had the place practically to ourselves and the peaceful atmosphere was most welcome.

Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Best cruise!!"

Everything was perfect, the boat is really clean and spacious. Staff very polite and qualified Food was very good It is also wheelchair accesible The route is very nice( you get also sunset and night views)

The Island Lodge: "Different in a good way"

"An amazing one night stay in the Island Lodge, lovely welcome and led to a beautiful appointed room with separate shower room, toilet and large balcony overlooking infinity pool and river scenes beyond. Attentive service and lovely food, in a very unique setting. So relaxing. Do not hesitate to book this experience when visiting the Mekong Delta. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"

Villa Song Saigon: "What makes a good hotel great?"

What makes a great hotel? Is it location, style, luxury, food quality, service, amenities, exclusivity,ambiance? Villa Song has all of this and much more. The indefinable thing that makes paying customers feel like honored guests - friends even. This is like a Mini Singapore Raffles located on the Saigon River half an hour from HCM airport. It's hard not to gush about this place and harder to find fault. I dare you to try. If you go there you will be looked after by GM Yega, his wonderful staff including the charming Freddie who seems to be able to do everything. You might be served breakfast by Miss Hua and her colleges, have a cocktail concocted for you especially by the fantastic bar manager, take a ride on the hotel launch, sit by the fabulous pool,,,,,,You will certainly be fed by master Chef Kevin. F&B director and chef from Luxembourg. The quality of food pumped out of his kitchen will delight you. I could go on and on but I am busy planning my next (much longer) stay in this very special hotel. Check out this unique and special little gem for yourself....but leave room for me.

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "A few days to chill"

"Well... I could say I hated the place... to keep u all away... so I can keep it all to myself.... I just loved it... So historic, original, wonderful staff, huge rooms all fully restored in modern luxury and the whole place with old/antique furniture... I was in my element... elegant, traditional. Fantastic food, ( the dining room ceiling looks ridiculous) but the rest is just gorgeous... It is the middle of downtown GT (George Town), lots of transport options, and walking to discover the rest of GT is easy... The staff are wonderful... I just loved it I would not take kids there... destroy the atmosphere.... but I am sure kids would be welcome.... if necessary A very, very special place... If u are into history and love the old... you will, like I love the place... do go....."

Labyrinth: "Substantial improvement and deserving of a star"

This is our second visit and our 125th starred fine dining restaurant. The innovation of the food, presentation and quantity has improved(you now get an umbrella with the crab!) and it is truly deserving of it's star

The Village House: "Awesome hidden getaway"

"Stepping onto the compound (after trying to find the place), you just know privacy is what you'll be getting. Quickly greeted by the person manning the front counter, you know you're in good hands. At least I did. I arrived later than my partner did but the fact that this frontdesk person knew who I was showed a level of care in who the guests are. It's amazing despite having strict rules, it's really for the best benefit for everyone including ourselves. The place is fancy in its simplicity and rest assured the absence of cell service isn't a disservice but exactly what every person that comes down here needs! It is a getaway... And a great one. We didn't plan for this trip and just settled for beds in the dorm. Honestly I've stayed at backpackers and when you think dorm some or many might cringe.. But if more dorms were like these, I'm definitely going to stay in dorms more! The facilities are amazing. I mean, yes 6 beds (3 bunk beds) in the room but it's there for sleep which is fine and the bathroom attached to it is the best with running hot water so it's definitely all good! The absence of a TV is expected of a dorm room but seriously there wasn't a need for a TV (that's what the TV room is for at the main building... And there are books too!!) Now this place isn't for kids and it's good they made it strict with no kids under the age of 12 (or so I'm told) and that makes sense because the whole point of the trip is to relax and chill and laze and be free from the hustle and bustle of life. And that's what you'd do. I spent most of my time on the lawn chair just looking at the pool. Occasionally going in the pool being a hippo or whatever water mammal that just lazes in the water. Besides just looking at the pool you'd definitely pick up any reading material (I opted for comics) and just remain on your back. Relaxed. Did I mention you'll just be relaxing and not be doing nothing much? Coz it's just that freaking good. Service was actually the best as the people there would check to see if you need anything. The kitchen closes early at 8 pm so by 5 pm the dinner order has to be made which is cool because they do tell you that so no point to whine about it. Food was amazing and I was overwhelmed by the portion of pasta I got. I mean I'm a pasta monster and can really down it but this one I wasn't able to finish. It's cool coz it's creamy pasta and no one can really down a whole lot of that when I think about it.. The bar is open till 11pm so that's cool. Reasonably priced food as it shows in the quality and prep. Oh and breakfast was included in the room cost which being complimentary, they offer basic breakfast choices of either English breakfast or pancakes. Cereal is there too and that's all you can eat. I think. All in all, place is sweet and definitely going to be a regular thing. Possibly. Likely . Kudos to the people who made it work so well!! Highly recommended for those needing a break.
