Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Luxury eco resort"

Review by: boundlesstrekker | Source: Trip Advisor
I stayed at this lodge and loved it. The whole set up is fantastic from the staff, the food and the views. I truly enjoyed the kind hospitality of the owner. He is a very warm host. The food is organic and out of this world. Will definitely return.

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "A perfect resort in an ideal location – worth every minute of the journey to get there"

Review by: Anne599 | Source: Trip Advisor
We have just returned from our trip to Kerala and Mumbai and have to say that this was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in. Our room was delightful, simple but to a very high standard with perfect attention to detail - sitting on our cottage verandah looking out onto the sea was amazing and very tranquil and relaxing - the cottages are designed so that we had privacy and never felt overlooked. The outdoor bathroom was luxurious and simple. Staying at this hotel was the most wonderful experience ever and I can't wait to return. The Hermitage has a peacful ambience - it is eco tourism at its finest - I particularly loved the fact there were no plastic bottles to be found on the resort! The food was superb, the swimming pool out of this world - and the staff were lovely and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A perfect place to spend some time relaxing and being at one with nature.

Muang La Lodge: "Something quite special"

Review by: r p | Source: Trip Advisor
"We visited out of season and were the only guests in the resort. We were welcomed by Mr. Xay, the assistant manager, who in the absence of the manager, was running the resort. Both he and his team were absolutely excellent. Although it is likely a lot of the staff were local villagers we had no problems with communication. The rooms are big and very comfortable, they are set around the large gardens some with a balcony view of the river . The swimming pool is set on an island situated in the middle of the river reached via a wobbly bridge. The pool has it's own bar area, which also has cooking facility for light meals. There is a hot tub fed by a natural hot spring. My wife had a massage, which she said was very good. We took one of their excursions , a 4x4 into the hills walking in the forest followed by an excellent packed lunch, which we ate in one of the villages. The guide on this was superb, it involved crossing several streams ;he cut me a bamboo pole to help.We were introduced to, ate and survived, a lot of vegetation we had not come across before The food in the resort was some of the most enjoyable we had in S.E. Asia, eaten outside overlooking the river. An evening 5 course set menu. The Laos beer is good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was excellent with freshly baked croissants and pain au chocolate eggs etc. We were sorry to leave and we are grateful to Mr.Xay and all his courteous, efficient and thoughtful staff for looking after us so well."

Babe: "Breath taking food in an amazing vibe"

Review by: nikilundberg | Source: Trip Advisor
"I went to Babe for my last dinner in KL and I couldn't find a better way to end my trip. Everything with this place is magnificent; the atmosphere, the interior, the staff and, of course, the food. I'm a vegetarian so usually it's a little bit harder for me to get that mind blowing experience I know a lot of meat eaters get when they are in places like this. However, this time that wasn't a problem. I tried eight of the vegetarian dishes and each one of them reached above my expectations. I started with the compressed caesar salad which was the best caesar salad I've ever had. Instead of bacon you got a crispy salty coconut flake - such an innovative way of making vegetarian food fun. The dishes kept on rolling in and the majority of them literally exploded in my mouth (when you go there you will understand what i mean). A must try is the watermelon carpaccio, the potato puré with onion jam and the beet root role. And also, if you are a fan of miso soup - it's the best I've ever had. Besides the food I had a couple of drinks and they all kept the level. Try the Malaysian tea - it's so delicious! When leaving this place it came to me that it won't be long until I visit KL again. Thank you Babe for giving me an experience I'll never forget."

Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Unexpected luxury"

Review by: Marles G | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is a lovely boutique hotel that sits on Inle Lake. The service was wonderful, the staff friendly and helpful. All of our meals were included in the price of the room and the food was excellent. Our room opened onto the lake - very peaceful and the room was luxurious. The hotel has a program where it is training young men and women to work in the hotels with tourists. The student's education is at no charge. In addition the owner is trying to reintroduce Bumese cats into the country. About 39 cats are maintained on the property in a very nice inclosure. We opted for a guide, Min Min Tun, mmt.inle12061977@gmail.com, to shows us around the lake. We found this very helpful as it enabled us to see more then the usual tourist spots. I would return to this lovely place again and again. Room Tip: All the rooms are excellent"

Villa Song Saigon: "Amazing Stay and Service"

Review by: CTGUY799 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had a magnificent stay at Villa Song! I would totally return to this property and would recommend it highly. The staff was so accommodating and could not do enough for us! The chef, Kevin, was amazing and the food was superb! Everything was perfect from our check-in (loved the watermelon juice, so refreshing after a hot taxi ride from the airport), wait staff, porters, housekeeping, etc! I hope I have the opportunity to return to Villa Song one day! Job well done, you should be proud!"

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Maybe one of the best over the world"

Review by: Chernandezdemiguel | Source: tripadvisor.com
"I stayed two nights at Four Rivers and it was a nice dream. This floating hotel is located in a beautiful jungle's river far away from everywhere. The rooms/tents are luxurious but not fancy. With private terrace over the river, you can swim in the fresh and clean water of Tatai's river. Also you can drink a beer while you're watching the jungle, the birds and the fishes. Food in 4 rivers is 5 stars and the staff also. Everybody is very professional and try to explain you everything about the jungle, the life in the nearest villages etc. They have many trips to discover the area. Don't miss the fireflies trip during the night, kayaking in the mangrove and the sunset cruise. So, everything is perfect in this ecolodge."

David’s Kitchen: "TripAdvisor is correct"

Review by: jclyak | Source: Trip Advisor
"This is an awesome restaurant that has relocated to a beautiful facility near the old city. (50 baht Uber ride). A most enjoyable evening, one I wish we hadn’t missed during our visits to CM over the past 7 years. We will not make this mistake next year. Thank You David for a superb dining experience."

Supanniga Eating Room: "Consistantly good"

Review by: Aureliochine1 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We've hit Supanniga again last night. Every time (twice a year) we come to Bangkok we make sure to have dinner there and have always been rewarded for sticking to good old habits. Last night was no exception. We tried to innovate choosing dishes we'd never tried before and were pleased with every single taste. Service was as always attentive. Supanigga remains a good destination for whoever is looking for good thai food with a twist in a cozy yet animated environment"

Villa Song: "New Years Eve Dinner"

Review by: Liesa29 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We had Dinner at Villa Song on New Years Eve. The Building is beautiful and when you arrive and walk down the way to the entrance, it looks very enchanting. Everything was lit up with light chains. The table setting was nice and the waiters were very attentive. The special menu for this evening sounded promising and did not disappoint. If I had to say which dish I liked the most I couldn‘t because every single course was delicious and beautifully arranged. The dinner was accompanied by live music and later by traditional vietnamese music. We didn‘t stay overnight this time but it’s definitely on our list."
