Kinabalu Park: "Cool with strong wind"
Rm3/head entry u hv to pay. Remember to pay at entry. Either u can park ur car at entry if u wanted to enjoy walk o jz drive-in. Bware drive slow with headlights 'on' as road is narrow. Very cool there as wind very very strong. I cant c too much view as weather not allow.Rachamankha: "Beautiful, boutique hotel, don’t expect 5 bars, a gym & 3 restaurants"
A gem of a hotel, hidden away down a side lane in the old city. No noise, 24hr security & an architectural wonder of Thai design. Rooms with covered walkways are all built round open courtyards with paths, palm & oleander trees & pots, joining them to different areas of the hotel. The pool area is beautifully maintained & the library has an old colonial feel with many interesting subjects to browse, particularly travel & architecture. Our room was quiet, spacious, spotlessly clean, with an excellent shower & lovely Moulton Brown toiletries. Breakfast was taken outside or in, waiter served with choices cooked to order. Very relaxing compared to the pandemonium of buffet breakfasts experienced elsewhere. Restaurant evening meals delicious & beautifully presented. Would definitely return & recommend.Manukan Island Resort: "Paradise"
We booked for one night as a last minute treat during our stay in Borneo. We were overwhelmed by what we got. We originally booked the cheapest double room, but when we arrived and was shown to our room, even though we were before the check in time, we were flabbergasted that we were given a beach villa over looking the private beach and sea. The room was luxurious, the staff were attentive and our over night stay was romantic. The only problem we encountered was the restaurant staff, who forget to bring us our drinks and the food wasn't that great. Over all a fabulous place for that romantic get away.Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Recently rewarded with the title “best coastal Resort in Asia” , the Neeeshwar hermitage"
"This 16 bungalows counting hermitage , amidst a brilliant southern flowering garden, Looking to the Arabian sea, is really a shining jewel on Malabar's coast. Very friendly competent staff, excellent food an very quiet surrounding. Healthy walks Along a sandy beach. Neeleswar hermitage ""for ever""!"MesaStila: "Leisure"
Was my second time to visited this Mesastila. They have great view and great staff! They have 22 hectare land. 11 hectare is for coffee plantation, and the rest is for villas. They have 22 rooms. The price for villas is quite expensive but I think it's valuable including coffee plantation tour.Le Du Wine Bar & Restaurant: "Amazing dinner with friends"
Very innovative. I'm impressed by the quality of their ingredients and ideas. This is the best modern Thai restaurant in Thailand. All dishes were executed with great confidence.Le Calao: "Great food, excellent service"
This centrally located restaurant is set in a traditional merchant’s house right on the river. Fine food and deft service.VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Lovely hotel"
"Two nights after a long flight- excellent spa- fantastic views across the river - nice breakfasts and helpful staff. Shuttle water taxi works well and it's nice to return to relative calm at Villa Song. We would choose to stay here again and will recommend it to our friends. "Mrauk U Princess Resort: "Huge comfortable rooms and beautiful grouunds"
"The Mrauk U Princess Resort is the best hotel in Mrauk U and a lovely place to return home to after a day of climbing temples and pagodas. The road from the gate to the reception is probably the best road in all of Mrauk U at the present time. Returning from my day out I was always great with a welcoming cold wash cloth to help cool me off and remove the dust of the day. Check in as simple, the usual passport registration dance and your leaf shaped key is in you hand in mere minutes. My room (house) was 205. A walk past the resort’s lake, surrounded with greenery and flowers. My bungalow was an easy stroll from reception and the restaurant and bar. The room was absolutely beautiful and huge. So huge in fact that it sported two (2) A/C units which kept the room very comfortable. This room has two net covered twin beds, I don’t know if double or king sized were available. The bed was comfortable with two pillows and sparkling white sheets. A small writing desk off to the side of the bed and an accessible electrical outlet, for recharging a computer or cell phone. The other side of the room had a nice soft chair and a day bed. Coffee/Tea area. Snap cap bottles of water (they must be filtered water, since I drank from them several times and no ill effects with my sensitive Western tummy). In room safe of course. A plate of welcome fresh fruit was on the table. The bathroom was clean with a large tub, sunk, shower and toilet. Soaps, shampoos and towels in abundance. The water was always hot and plentiful. The toilet was in it’s own little room that I found a little claustrophobic. The restaurant and bar were all up to Western standards, and prices. The menu has any type of food you could desire from local dishes, to Asian dishes and a Western selection that I’d recognize anyplace. The staff could not be more helpful. Look up and someone was there in a flash. Ask for something and it appears. Request something special and it might take a minute or two, but it will happen if possible. All in all, I loved my stay at the Mrauk U Princess Resort, and if get a chance to visit Mrauk U again, I’ll be staying here again."Rachamankha: "Best of Chiang Mai"
I've stayed frequently in Chiang Mai, and this place is gem. Peaceful, quaint, friendly. A real oasis of calm and serenity. Great restaurant - for breakfast and for dinner. Lovely pool. Old world charm. Excellent service. No drama, and an escape from the hustle and bustle.
