Hotel Tugu Lombok: "This is a Must Go To Experience!"
"This Hotel makes you feel so welcome that you almost feel out of place. The rooms are nothing but absolutely beautiful, and you feel like walking into Indonesian palace! This hotel, which specializes in old style Indonesia has lots of old antiques all over the place, and you can probably walk around the premises for several days just mesmerizing over all the decor, statues and never get tired of it. The staff and service is flawless. Henry, and the rest, were nothing but smiling, funny, and incredible nice. They hotel beach is clean and beautiful, and they have an infinity pool just by the restaurant which gives a very relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. The food is impeccably delicious. We also got a complimentary massage, and boy, do those girls do wonders! Magic hands who were able to find every knot and tight muscle, and you left them feeling good and refreshed for hours! All I can say is that we regretfully only got to have one night at this place, but next time it will be for longer. No doubt! 10/10 would visit again!"Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Bucket list experience – a must do."
"We recently spend 2 nights at Noel Rodrigo's Leopard Safari on the absolute edge of Yala. (The park is across the road) This experience was fantastic from start to finish in every way. Prior to arrival staff were in contact with our driver in Sri Lanka to ensure our meeting point and timing was coordinated with safari staff. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and immediately given a guided tour of the camp. Lunch was served not long after our arrival and it heralded a standard that continued for the 2 days we were there. We had been to 4 different resorts/hotels prior to Leopard safaris and the food here was up there with the best. Fresh, locally produced, plentiful and absolutely delicious. The accommodation was amazing. Definitely glamping. Service was at all times en pointe. The safaris themselves were amazing. Having waited most of my life for an experience like this I was not disappointed. Our guides Sam and Praneeth were enthusiastic, passionate, experienced and very knowledgeable. We were able to see (with luck, patience and their guiding) leopards, sloth bears, incredible bird life, elephants, crocs, mongoose and much more. This was definitely a highlight of our three weeks in Sri Lanka. Many thanks to all staff who made this trip so memorable."VILLA SONG SAIGON: "Best Experience in My 6 Week Asian Travels"
"Amazing Boutique Hotel that sits along the peaceful Saigon River, beautiful colonial style rooms, amazing views, personal staff, great pool, and excellent restaurant. I never wanted to leave (no kidding). The staff were so good to me it felt like they were my family. I had another month of travel upon leaving and I knew no hotel would match this. I would say it was one of the top 2 best experiences in my 30 years of travel. I want to give credit to the amazing staff (top to bottom). The Director of Operations Ta Thanh Thuy was so helpful: from future travel/hotel tips to aid with some personal business of mine (all this while being wonderfully pleasant and thoughtful). Ms. Nhu, at the front desk was the anchor. She helped me with all needs: tours, food recommendations, travel tips, and taking care of a Fed Ex package that wouldn't have gotten to me if not for her hard work. Equaling as pleasant and helpful was my friend Ms. Tuyet. Kevin, the chef, gave me wonderful advice for touring the city, and dazzled me with his Michelin level food. And finally the charming and lovely Ms. Quy. I enjoyed her big smile every day and our nice conversations. The rest of the staff were equally great, but I don't have the time or space to write on it. An unforgettable experience. I hope I'm back soon. "Heritage Suites: "Awesome Stay"
I had an awesome stay here in Heritage. Very accommodating staff, they're all smiling and helpful. This is the best place to relax and to chill. Very unique, clean and big and classy room. The pool is clean as well. Delicious food and good drinks served while there's a band playing good music. Their boat cruise is super amazing I enjoyed watching the sunset! Will surely recommend to my friends!Sukoon Houseboat: "SIMPLY the BEST"
I returned here in 2016 for another week because I had stayed the previous year and I couldn't wait to get back. This must be THE BEST LUXURIOUS houseboat on Daal Lake with the most attentive staff.Breakfast on the roof is what travelling worth saving our time and money for. Lunch and Dinner are carefully prepared. The ambience of the Houseboat, its architecture ,its setting on the furthermost quiet part of the lake and all the wonderful staff are well worth venturing to this amazing part of the world for an experience that will stay with you in your most unique travel memories.Maison Polanka: "An authentic oasis"
"We had the Green Room which was large enough to accommodate a couple with an adult daughter. It also had a large porch over looking the pool in a beautiful walled garden. It was a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap but close enough to town for an easy visit. The room is authentic looking with beautiful art, comfortable beds and terrific large bathroom. The staff is amazing! They took such good care of us from arranging tours, restaurants, spa services (try the blind therapist shiatsu massage) and tuk tuks to town. Breakfast is included with terrific fruit and juices. I love the Cambodian fried rice with egg on top. We ate lunch and dinner there most nights as well. Made our way through the menu and loved everything we tried. 4 nights was the perfect amount of time to relax and to see the temples. Room Tip: There are only 6 rooms in the property. All are good."Rachamankha: "An Oasis of Peace"
"My wife and I stayed for just one night at the Rachamankha hotel at the end of our wonderful holiday in Laos (courtesy of Pandaw) and Northern Thailand. It was just perfect, from the large beautiful room, to the restful swimming pool, to the bar and dining room. Its close to the main temple, and also for last minute souvenir shopping, the ""walking street"". The quality of service was outstanding, and our evening meal, just a light one, tasted amazing. I almost didn't want to write a review, as I would like this place to stay as it is, an oasis in the midst of a vibrant city. When we come back to ChiangMai, as I hope we will, this hotel will be a no-brainer of a choice."The Island Lodge: "Superb"
"I stayed at the Island Lodge with my wife and two young kids as my first hotel upon arrival in Vietnam, with the idea of using its relaxing environment to acclimatise to the weather and time zone. It fulfilled this brief perfectly. We were picked up at the airport in HCMC and transferred to the hotel which was just under 2 hours drive away. On arrival at the hotel we were treated with a refreshing drink and delicious canapés while we checked in. Michel had previously suggested pre-ordering a meal as we arrived around 9pm after travelling all day. This was a great idea and was a lovely start to our 3 night stay at this hotel, and was our first insight as to the thoughtfulness, service and high quality that was typical at this hotel. The food here was consistently excellent (as to be expected from Michel and Françoise who hail from France's gastronomy capital - Lyon) and was a highlight of our stay. The wine selection was also excellent and on reflection was great value for Vietnam. Breakfast was a treat to look forward to every morning, with the Eggs Benedict a particular favourite. Also, I was delighted to find that good european style coffee is served! The hotel itself is beautiful, and decorated with an Indochine theme. We stayed in a River View room, which was lovely with a nice comfortable balcony to sit on and watch the activity on the river, however the garden rooms also looked very nice and I would have been happy in either room type (FYI river room views are on first floor and so persons with mobility issues may prefer garden view room). The staff at the hotel are excellent - friendly, attentive and obviously well trained and professional in their service. The overall highly positive experience of our stay here allowed us to relax, get over our jet lag and energise us for a great holiday in Vietnam. The only negative about staying here as our first hotel in Vietnam is that we found ourselves comparing all subsequent hotel stays against this one, and they all fell short! For a stay in the Mekong Delta area I would absolutely recommend that you don't look any further than The Island Lodge."SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Excellent Culinary Experience"
"I have been to Seeds a couple of times over the past few months. It is great to see and feel how the team is growing in experience and professionalism. The Service is very pleasant and attentive, with a good knowledge of the product they are serving. The dishes presented were very innovative and well presented. Fine-tuned culinary creations of high international standard, at times with a slight local twist in flavor! A great culinary experience at the shores of the Inya Lake."LEOPARD SAFARIS-WILPATTU: "Into the wild and with the wild"
"I stayed over at Leopard Safaris, Wilpattu for one night together with family and friends and what a fantastic stay it has been. From the welcome, the game drives, to the meals, the service, the accommodation, the quality of standards has been flawless and consistent. I was very impressed how Pila and Praneeth manage the campsite and ensure that their guests have a wonderful experience and great memories. In comparison to their Yala operations Wilpattu is more towards classical mobile tented camping and the concept really falls in line with becoming one with nature. The campsite is just by the buffer zone of the park and is also teeming with wildlife including bird varieties and other flora and fauna. The game drives are really fun and informative, where Pila shares his vast knowledge on a variety of aspect including wildlife and history. The jeeps are very comfortable and is customised according to international standards. The naturalist does not follow other jeeps in the park and tries their best to give you a very private game drive experience. Meals are simply delicious and has a lot of local colour and flavour to it. The meals are best had in the great outdoors. Thank you Noel and the team for a magical wildlife experience. "
