Locavore: "Simply amazing."
We made a specific trip to Locavore after being recommended by a few friends to make sure to visit. We had the set 7 courses but you get even more than is listed on the menu! Each course had an ingredient we had not heard or tasted before, which made the experience even more special. Each course was mind blowing. Food, staff and service was amazing. Our family of five have stayed at Apsara Rive Droite on our trip 1-4 Dec 2017. The owner and manager team was very responsive in replying email and helpful. Khun Haan; a manager, took care of us very well and made us feel as home. We stayed in Deluxe River View Suites which were spacious and had a great view of Nam Khan river. The best part is also the quietness and serenity. We also booked tour to waterfall and were so surprised by hotel service that one staff accompanied us to take care of our family, I forgot his name, thanks to him too. On waterfall trip, hotel arrange us a great service and unforgettable luncheon. When we had some questions about place to see and to go, Khun Haan and his team was always helpful with nice recommendations and even arranged transportation for us. If you like to know about coffee plantation, to hear an indonesian music and to have a rest is that one of the best place. Five starts hospitality. The spa - including the turkish bath - was brillinat. The food is excellent.Le Calao: "Delightful, a future icon of Luang Prabang."
With colleagues we hosted a small event at Le Calao over 3days. This is the newest addition to Luang Prabang's dining scene and the very high standard of service, impeccable attention to details and excellent food will ensure the future of Le Calao I am sure. The perfect venue for small meetings in their upstairs dining room and the perfect venue for intimate dining downstairs or on the terrace. And a superb location overlooking the river. "Stayed here for three nights. The hotel is well located for city center. Stunning quixotic atmostphere in the hotel. Antiques, hand crafts, paintings are well decorated all over the hotel and lots of flowers.The room is clean, tidy, and classic. The staffs are amazing friendly, helpful, and attentive. Nice breakfast next to the pool. Moreover, the hotel spa was fantastic. Don't miss the hot stones massage. This is a great spot of Malang. "Tugu Bali: "Beautiful, Peaceful in Canggu"
Loved Tugu Hotel. Amazing staff, wonderful location. The hotel sits right next to the beach in Canggu. It neighbors Canggu's most popular hang out, The Lawn. The area is full if amazing restaurants, bars and hangouts.The hotel offers a tea, coffee, and cake every day from 4:30 - 6:30pm. I totally recommend this place to anyone looking to surf as well. The hotel sits on a big surfing beach! A+++ on location for this place.Manda De Laos: "The mother off them all"
"Manda means mother in Lao. And Manda de Laos beats all (so called) fancy restaurants in LP. The scenery is romantic and beautiful. Then the service, so friendly and easygoing. I love the effort every staff member takes to please you. Oh yeah, and there was food as well. We had the Manda de Laos menu (3 courses with a lot of different dishes) to have a flight through the menu. From the first to the last bite I can say that we've enjoyed every bit! Don't complain it's expensive or something in that range. You made the choice to eat here so you know the prices. If not make sure you're well informed. To give you a heads up we've paid 965.000 kip/$118,- for the menu and two cocktails. Which is comparable to European prices. If you're up for a romantic evening (or lunch) with your significant other this is the place to be in LP."Rachamankha: "Impressed"
Stayed here for our honeymoon and wow was it a great choice! The pool is stunning and the grounds are something super special. You feel like royalty here. The staff wants nothing more than to help and please you and do such a great job of making your stay lovely! They gave us fee champagne upon arrival and the manager was so lovely. Airport pickup with them went swimmingly and the breakfast was five star every morning! Couldn't be more full never ending amount of food offered! Room service was a delight as well. Only thing I would say is stay away from the burger and the dinner at the restaurant both were below average. Other than that everything was five star perfection! Will never forget this place!!Satri House: "Oasis in Luang Prabang"
"The Satri House was a welcome relief from airplanes, heat, crowds and all the travails of international travel. Greeted by friendly and efficient staff, stunning and immaculate grounds, the sweet smell of lemongrass and air conditioned room, I felt ready to relax before heading out for 5 days of discovery in Luang Prabang area. If you have time, enjoy a massage in the spa and be sure to look around at all the grounds...a treat for body, mind and spirit. The staff does all they can to make your stay very pleasant! Breakfast was good but a little more variation would have been nice since we were there for several days. This hotel was selected for us by our travel company, so I have not looked into details of price, value, etc. I can only say we did not select the very top hotel package and we're not disappointed at Satri House! Room Tip: I would suggest an upper level room, as the wooden floors seem to be noisey."Rachamankha: "A Quiet Oasis in a Bustling Town"
This was a quiet oasis in a bustling town but still well positioned to see everything Chiang Mai has to offer. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and our room and bathroom was spotless and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed excellent service from a very friendly and polite staff. The breakfast buffet is very good and they make a neat gin and tonic in the bar. The hotel laundry service was very efficient and cheap compared to hotels elsewhere in the world. If we visited Chiang Mai again we would definitely stay here again
