The River Resort: "An Amazing Resort…we will definitely return!"
My husband, son and I stayed at the River Resort and the hotel and their staff went above and beyond to accommodate us! It was quiet and serene! The food was great! The internet was strong and fast. They have two pools, spa, and rooms overlooking the Mekong. And to top it off they gave us complimentary spa treatments, a sunset cruise, a bottle of wine and provided us with free transport to Wat Temple. Lastly, the service and staff were exceptional! This place is great for singles, couples, or families. We can't wait to return! The Hue House: "Beautiful Gem and Amazing food"

Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"Cuisine Wat Damnak: "French class comes to Khmer cooking"
We had a wonderful night at Cuisine Wat Damnak. The owner greeted us personally at the door and we had a brief conversation in Khmer. The food was exquisite and there was a choice of two degustation menus. In truth it was hard to choose because they were both so good. Great quality food and great value. Highly recommended.Villa Song Saigon: "How Hotels Should Be"
"A mini break for 4 nights escaping the winter in Perth, Australia. Villa Song lived up to its #1 ranking on tripadvisor. Villa Song is a world class boutique, luxury hotel experience at less than the cost to stay in a country motel in Australia. From the glorious large river room with tall ceilings and colonial touches to the rain shower and crisp white linen the room delivers everything a weary traveller could possibly want. Fast free wi-fi, check. Free mini-bar, check. Free a la carte cooked breakfast, check. Individual coffee maker in room, check. So called 5 Star hotels could do well to introduce some of these features. The staff were polite, helpful and everyone from the pool to the front desk made us feel like welcome guests. The luxury (free) powerboat shuttle into the city is an absolute stroke of genius. A 20 minute relaxing river journey delivers you into the heart of HCMC and rescues you again when you are ready to return. All the convenience of a city centre hotel with none of the noise and chaos. It's hard to fault this place. The restaurant is good if you don't want to explore the other (many) local options, but not as outstanding as the rest of the hotel. If I were to be picky, there is no lift and if you are staying on the top floor, there is an easy 3 flights to help you exercise off your last meal!. I will stay here again, so should you."Rachamankha: "Beautifully designed courtyard hotel"
This is a small uniquely designed hotel with rooms around two inner courtyards on a side street on the western side of the old city. The rooms are impeccably decorated with Thai and Chinese furniture and small art objects. There is a pool at the back of the property, which was nice on a hot day (aren't they all in Thailand??!). The hotel is walking distance to many of the most famous temples in the old city. The restaurant is excellent, especially dinners, which also featured light Thai musical accompaniment in the background. Staff was excellent and helpful throughout our stay.Tugu Bali: "A Hidden Gem – Romantic and Relaxing"
We had a wonderful stay at Tugu, Bali whose mission is to bring back to life the art, soul and romance of Indonesia and it certainly does. It was by far my favourite hotel on the island. There are so many wonderful historical artefacts on the property, we really enjoyed wondering the hotel to look at them and learn about some of Bali's history. The hotel’s theatrically large entrance lobby creates an impression of grandeur. While there are plenty of unique areas to enjoy a romantic breakfast/lunch/dinner. What I loved about Tugu was the friendly staff and the attention to detail. Staying true to the romance element, when our room was turned down, beautiful poems were left by the bed with an array of fresh local flowers. The bath in our suite was incredible and the flower petals added to the ambiance. For Honeymooners and anyone looking for something a little bit special -Tugu is a must!Satri House: "Great hotel"
"Stayed here for a first time visit to Laos. The arrival is a little underwhelming as the hotel has no frontage to speak of, just an opening with a road down to a doorway very tastefully done. Inside is a revelation- a lovely relaxed layout with 2 pools, bar and restaurant. The room was spacious with 4 poster bed, bathroom, separate toilet and large balcony. The room was clean had all facilities including fruit basket and toiletries in glass bottles. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast east cooked to order with fresh juice, omelettes, croissants etc. Anything asked for was brought without fuss. We did try the restaurant which was very good in the evening. Slight criticisms - there was a cocktail menu at the bar but the barman didn’t really know how to make them. It is about 1 km from the centre so a bit of a walk to get into Luang Prabang town."Maison Polanka: "On point design boutique"
Charming boutique hotel with fantastic design and grounds. Well located and helpful staff. The restaurant itself was a bit mediocre, but the setting was so special that it didn't matter. The spa was also quite enjoyable. Given the price compared to some of the other design hotels in the area, I would definitely choose Maison Polanka again. The Hue House: "Unforgettable night at The Hue House"
"It was our 1st year anniversary yesterday. My boyfriend booked a table at The Huế House for this special occasion. The restaurant is on the rooftop 10th floor of an office building where we can see Saigon at night time. We came in the afternoon & catched the sunset - very romantic atmosphere which is suitable for us. The food was very delicious. Very nice decor as well. The restaurant owner was very nice to us, when he knew about this special occasion, he prepared us a cake as a gift. Thank you very much. This place is highly recommended "
