Supanniga Eating Room: "So much goodness"
The crab is fabulous, but I can't get enough of the wing bean salad. I know, salad right? But is just so good.Supanniga Eating Room: "A regular comfort place"
It has become my to-go place whenever I have foreigners from abroad and when I wish to indulge in some traditional Thai fares. I never get bored of this place and I am always proud to present. Food is excellent, taste is amazing, service impeccable and great cocktails! Never hesitate or doubt whenever I recommend my friends... Truly an address to be proud of in Bangkok! Kudos Suppaniga team!Tugu Bali: "Tugu Hotel Bali is a luxurious slice of history"
I stayed in a Dedari suite while I was at the Tugu Hotel Bali. I loved having the private plunge pool and outdoor swing daybed. I also quite liked the outdoor bathtub with attached koi pond. However, the hotel decor is what's so amazing here, and it is definitely one of the main reasons for staying at this hotel. Everywhere you look there are beautiful antiques and artefacts. It's a living museum. I also took in the Thursday evening cultural dinner which includes a Balinese dance and music performance. If you are a traveller looking for a truly unique Bali experience this is the place to have it.Sanak Retreat Bali: "Beautiful, peaceful, authentic Bali"
I stayed three nights here with my husband and our two teenage sons. Nestled in a beautiful valley with views to the across lush green rice paddies and mountains covered with clove trees and palms, Sanak provides a chance to experience the best of rural Bali. It's a long and windy drive over the mountains from the south but well worth it. With just 11 villas, this feels like a boutique retreat offering a fairly unique experience. Most guests are there for the peace and beauty of the place and many guests take the opportunity to do guided walks, treks or canoeing - we did a waterfall walk and a canoeing trip and both were reasonably priced and well worth while, with excellent local guides. Most of the staff are from the local villages and you get the sense that they take great pride in the resort. The villas are lovely with a truly Balinese flavour and the cool evening breeze makes sleeping comfortable without air con - once you adjust to the sounds of dogs and roosters! The restaurant offers a limited menu but the food is of a very good standard and there is enough variety for a stay of a few days. Our whole family loved Sanak's simple elegance and we take away lovely memories of a special part of Bali. Thank you.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Do not miss out on this one"
"If you're planning your trip to SL then you MUST include 2 nights at Noel's Leopard Safari! Everything about the trip was fantastic! We had an ongoing joke during our safaris that the guides have called the animals in advance to tell them we were coming. Everytime we said ""It would be cool to see .... (insert animal here)"" they just miraculously appeared! It was quite mental actually. Leopard and jackal and sloth bear and monkeys and elephants and tons of birds and crocodiles and and and! The park is beautiful and the guides Say and Praneeth are so enthusiastic and they know everything about the wildlife and flora. It's really great to be with guides that clearly love what they are doing and have such great respect for our beautiful nature. The camp is luxury camping to say the least. We had the AC tent, hot water, plenty of plug points. They even have good internet connection at the lounge area. Pretty impressive for a camp in the middle of nowhere. Even the bugs were blissfully sparse when we were there. Heads up that this is seasonal off course. The experience was worth every penny!"Jing’s Residence: "Fantastic Hotel! Fantastic Service!"
"We decided to visit Pingyao based on Lonely Planet recommendations (Pingyao is famous as a walled city and well-known for its local goods). So glad we did! This hotel was the best during our China/HK holiday. It is an oasis in an otherwise dusty and remote location. The room and facilities is top notch although don't expect to watch TV as there is none except in the guest lounge. You won't miss it though as the hotel offers spa treatments; noodle making and paper cutting classes. We were able to relax in the guest lounge with complimentary afternoon tea. All tea and delicacies (we had eight bean treasure one day and a type of porridge the next) are locally produced and were delicious. The restaurant is great for both breakfast and dinner with a wide selection available. Loved the scrambled eggs Chinese style on a bed of steamed rice for breakfast. Personal service and attention from all the staff is second to none but especially from the resident manager, Imam, who is outstanding. He was always available to assist or ensure our needs were being met and popped up magically as we would pass through the lobby area. On our final morning of our stay he took us on a personal tour of a ruined courtyard giving us a tremendous insight into how the locals lived many years ago as well as escorting us to a local shoe manufacturer. We would definitely stay here again and the hotel and friendliness make this place worth the detour to Pingyao itself! "The Governor’s House: "An oasis in Phnom Penh"
"Went to Phnom Penh for 3 nights on a business trip. This was my second trip to the city and checked into The Governor's House. Initially somewhat difficult to locate which caused some distress. However, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Tucked away just off a main thoroughfare, it is an oasis from the mad traffic of Phnom Penh. The establishment has only 12 rooms. After all it was a residence. And it certainly retained that warm homely feel. Once inside gate, one would enter into an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity - save for the play school next door. One may be deceived to think that this is an isolated location. There is a local market within a few minutes walk which offers a very interesting insight into the local life. I would recommend a morning visit. The establishment staff are warm and friendly adding to the homely atmosphere. While The Governor's House lacks the upscale look of other establishments near the tourist area closer to the river and palace, the warmth and tranquillity of this establishment more than make up for it. I will be coming back to The Governor's House again, soon."Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Bliss a truely unique Boutique Resort"
"A magical tropical resort with amazing personalised service from the wonderful team at Sea Dance Resort. Memorable!.... and we are already planning our next visit! Relaxed and friendly ambience and we loved the overall vibe of the resort, live music (on specific days) and professional service. If you're looking for a place to go to experience a feeling of a personalised high end boutique resort this is the place for you. Sea Salt Restaurant has a menu that will leave you wanting to make sure ensure you try every dish! Unique and fresh and scrumpdelicious! Stayed March 2017, traveled with friends"Mie Cafe: "Excellents plats"
"Service de qualité, plats délicieux surtout le risotto au fish! Une merveille. Le chef est venu nous voir à la fin du repas."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Relaxation at its best!"
"In real estate it all about location location and location. My husband and I stayed for three days escaping the hustle of Shanghai. Once you arrive at the lodge you realize all the troubles of modern city life just doesn't matter. Each guest becomes a member of your extended family as you hold exciting conversations about their travels over a delicious dinner that changes everyday. Around 9pm everything just goes silent and you will get some of the best sleep you ever had in your life. If you can rise in the morning as the sun climbs over the mountain and enjoy the coolness of the start of the day. Breakfast have a stabled set but staff is willing to alternate for your taste. We decided to see a local school along the river and it makes you appreciate the efforts of the teachers and students to make their society a better place. There are other trips like to the waterfalls and fisherman village that we did on previous visits. A note to travelers, the Tatai waterfalls isnt as strong in Feb due to it not being raining season (we also visited 4Rivers in Sept of 2013 and you get a wonderful natural massage as the water cascades on your body). Visiting 4Rivers gives you an added perspective of life in Cambodia and is a must see on your life list! Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"
