Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "The sort of place where an author could hide away and write a best seller!"

"This is a simply appointed, French influenced, comfortable and very convivial Boutique Hotel with 9 spacious suites just across the road, pier and gardens from the Mekong. Actually, the establishment is more of a restaurant than an hotel because the lower two floors are given over to everyday dining and the rooftop is host to L'Escale, a discreet eatery offering more sophisticated fare. It's also serves Breakfast to guests. Watching early morning activity on the river, we agreed with fellow guests that both breakfast and view were stunning. The two lower restaurants were constantly busy however the sounds of diners having fun did not reach our rooms on the upper floors. You can't please everybody all the time of course and doubtless some will want plushier surroundings, however for us Nambo met key criteria for the Delta: Cool, Quiet, Tasty, Friendly and Reasonable! Internet trouble: no problems; no fuss - Receptionist showed up with a dedicated router - Service with a friendly smile!"

Reverie Siam: "All you need to relax in style"

"I stayed here with my wife for 3 nights and must say that it was a very pleasant experience. From beginning to end excellent service and very good professional staff/personel. It's a retro style resort with a tasty tappas restaurant. Good bartenders and the food is excellent and fresh. We felt very welcome and the breakfast is the best we had in Thailand. 2 dishes to choose from and fresh juice and good coffee. And refills all the time! The room was perfect, bed was big and comfortable. Fresh bottles of water and fresh towels every day. Swimmingpool is nice and calm. Free transport to center of Pai (fun in the evening). Also good live music at the river bar and in the restaurant. The whole experiance is great and relaxed. That's the holiday feeling! Stayed March 2017, traveled as a couple"

Villa Song: "Asia trip"

My mom really loves this place. And she wants to make reservation here when we come back at Christmas. This place looks like a castle, very charming and I’m overwhelmed. By the way, it’s really expensive

Villa Song Saigon: "Good quality hotel"

"We stayed two nights at this hotel during our transit to Hong Kong. When we arrived at the hotel,they made us feel a warm welcome with a manager named Kevin from Luxembourg. There is a FREE minibar and a nice shuttle boat to the Centre of the city. Plus the wonderful food at the hotel alone with a nice size swimming pool and gym. We really enjoy our stay!"

Satri House: "A wonderful happiness at a cozy little boutique hotel"

"We are a family with kids and a nanny. At first, we booked this hotel on Agoda web for the first 2 nights ( our plan in Luang Prabang was 6 days/5 nights). Then we planed to spend our first 2 days traveling around and get to know Luang Prabang before move to other hotels that near the old city. This hotel is not much different as seen in the picture and the swimming pool is just nice for our kids ( 2.5 yrs old and a baby 5 months old). They loved to go to swimming pool almost everyday. The first night, we ended up having dinner at hotel restaurant which is the same dining place for having breakfast. The dinner was very good. The Laotian food tasted yummy and not too spicy. Our kid loves fried nugget chicken with french fries so much (we were back to order this quite a few times during the rest of our stay. Later, we went out to check on our wish list hotels like 3Nagas, Azaria (near night market), Belle Rives (very nice view to see Mae Khong river), we also got the chance to dine at 3Nagas as well ( see our review for 3Nagas restaurant) BUT we didn't very much like those hotels ambience and there is not-a-good-swimming pool for our kids to swim as well as Satri house. So we came back and talked to Satri House hotel manager "" Giovanni"" that we loved to extend our stay at Satri House for the next 4 days/3 nights. It was very appreciated to say that Satri hotel GM gave us a good hotel deal package for our extended. We got the same junior suit room type with lower rate than the previous booking from Agoda website and a plus was the spa for 2 (oil massage or traditional Laotian massage) for free. We found that our trip in Laos wouldn't be as nice if we didn't stay at Satri House. It was a family friendly hotel, Very nice breakfast (we tried every breakfast menu during our 6 days stay in both international dish and local dish). Our kids like hot chocolate drink and we all loved fresh orange juices and a fruit bowl in every morning too (croissant and bread were also good). I could even say that some of the dish is as good as 3Nagas or even better! For us, we are no need to go to other hotels or go through those restaurants that listed with overrated star in Laung Prabang. We finally were happy with Satri House for the stay, the food, the location, the friendly and always helpful hotel staff and especially, Hotel GM. Thanks for taking good care of us. We hope to go back again for our next vacation soon. Love Satri House! We impressed."

4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A place dreamed come true"

"My first visit to this amazing place was 4 years ago and since then I have been fortunate to be back on two other occasions.  The first time was the perfect culmination of my trip to Cambodia and since that time 4 Rivers captivated me with all his charms: the environment, a unique place still intact in the country; the landscape, relaxing, lush and wonderful; the sound, of silence, peace and tranquility that surrounds it; the concept, luxury tents floating in a river in middle of the jungle; the service, attentive to every detail and need; the food, excellent and varied ... Can you ask for more? Try it, and maybe you can see the magic show of fireflies flashing in the night after an amazing nocturnal kayak ride. As I said before, I have been fortunate to be able to return more times to this awesome place and to show my best friends and family this hidden gem of Cambodia. All enjoyed the place and the lodge as I do. If you have the chance, do not doubt. Worth it. "

The Cabochon Hotel: "my favourite place to stay in Bangkok"

"from the moment we walked in the door.....we fell in love with this place.....we can not recommend it highly enough! if you want something special, tucked away, unexpected with the most divine attentive staff.....this is it! we will only stay in this gorgeous hotel whenever we choose to visit this city. a very very special place indeed! the attention to detail, the drinks and cocktail choices are just perfect and the rooms to enjoy them in....are so so beautiful. a thai restaurant too with delicious food, a swimming pool, everything is here. all I can say is, we just don't want to leave.....its the perfect get away in a busy bustling city that can be very overwhelming. The Cabachon is an oasis with styling perfection. thank you for having us!"

Chakrabongse Villas: "Oasis of calm in busy Bangkok"

Surreal and beautiful place to stay, tucked away behind some unassuming gates this hidden gem of a boutique hotel lends a completely different perspective to Bangkok. Admittedly it is not for everyone, it is not large and corporate, there isn’t 24 hour room service etc. However, the staff are incredibly helpful, the rooms and grounds are breathtaking and the food is excellent, its is somewhere I would like to return to again and again.

Muang La Lodge: "A stunning gem in a remote location"

"This unheralded, stunning resort is a great reward for the traveller who is prepared to undertake a relatively long road journey. Though arduous, that journey is not without some great experiences and vistas. Guided trips would be essential to help reveal the highlights along the way. Planning an extra night stay might appeal to those seeking even more pampering after their endeavours. The swimming pool is wonderful. The hot spring baths and massage service offer other opportunities for indulgence. The accommodation is beautiful and well designed.The beds are sumptuous. The river views are majestic. The restaurant provides fantastic meals, particularly the set five course dinner. The variety of tasty ethnic and local dishes each night was unique. Breakfast was excellent and personalized. The provision of gluten free pancakes demonstrated not only skills at improvisation but also determination to ensure guest satisfaction. For me it was a real bonus and very touching. The walk to the nearby village was great but knowing precisely where and how to access the exciting bamboo raft ferry back across the creek is recommended. The service was superb at all levels within the stablishment."

Mathis Retreat: "Magique , incontournable , le bonheur assuré"

"Dès votre arrivée , la magie s'opère. Le cadre est sublime en plein milieu des rizières. Magnifiques chambres , un vrai havre de paix. Le restaurant propose une cuisine très raffinée et le personnel est super gentil Karine la directrice est chaleureuse , conviviale et s'occupe de tout ! Elle nous a organisé 4 journées d'excursions avec de super guides (Wayan,Arya Subayu ...). Nous recommandons la journée Ubud authentic dans la famille du guide Wayan ,visite des écoles ,cours de cuisine avec sa femme .La ballade à pied est super. Nous recommandons aussi la ballade dans la jungle avec Arya Subayu authentique. La journée vélo dans les rizières merveilleuses aussi ! Merci à Karine et toute son équipe . On espère revenir vite !
