"For a long weekend we traveled to Malang and Mt. Bromo. Hotel Tugu was very well maintained, but the superb service from absolutely the best Indonesian staff. All the meals were presented artfully with an excellent balance of spices. We attended the once monthly cultural dinner with a Central Javanese tale told with music and dance. It was a great experience. The couples 4 hour spa and romantic dinner was a great way to relax on our final full day in paradise. Couple you must stay here if you visit Malang! "Misool Eco Resort combines the best parts of conservation, sustainability, diving and watersports in a laidback luxury style. The food was always delicious and care is taken to not waste food by preordering meals. Fresh and local ingredients are used. No plastic bottles or packaged products are used on the island and ocean-friendly toiletries are available in the villas. At the same time the attention and friendliness of all staff and the beautiful setup create a 5star experience. The diving sites are some of the best in the world and care is taken that the dive groups stay small and there is never many divers at the same time on one divesite. Sue, Mark and Sabine (the managers and head of watersports) are friendly, fun and very knowledgeable and take time to get to know each guest to ensure everyone can make the most out of their stay! We treated ourselves to a night at Tiger Mountain after a trek in the Annapurna region. The combination of a stunning location, gorgeous stone cottage accommodation and an excellent level of service sets Tiger Mountain apart from other places in Nepal. We were very impressed with the knowledge and service level of the staff, the comfort of the rooms and the excellent food provided. Two of us decided to do the morning guided bird watching tour, which was excellent. We saw an amazing assortment of birds on a short walk around the property, including a very pretty scarlet minivet. "A four hour drive from Phnom Penh then a 25 minute boat journey brings you to a beautiful floating hotel on the Tatai River. Our first glimpse made us all go ""ahhhhh!"" The 5 star tents on pontoons are anchored on pristine waters alongside palm fringed jungle and it was everything we hoped it would be. Evenings on our private deck were stunning, diving into clean cool water from our own spot and even a visit from a few fireflies one night as we sat outside was a magical experience! The staff are fantastic as are the tour guides. We had a sunset cruise, jungle trekking (with an ex-poacher who now uses his skills guiding tourists) and a visit to the small village on the island across the river with one of the staff who lives there, to see village life up close.
