Tugu Bali: "Traditional old world Balinese style hotel"
"Drive through traditional villages and rice fields. Only 30 minutes from Seminyak. It is a lovely drive and sometimes people want to see the rice fields without spending a day driving to Ubud. Arrive at Tugu, lovely old world traditional hotel for a nice lunch. A couple of hours of your time well spent. Relaxing, peaceful and educational. "Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Nice heritage to stay"
Its a heritage museum that we stayed over a night.the breakfast tasted good. The building have another mood at night but no creepy at all.this place nearby a lot of night market, try all the local food and all the staff very friendly and nice.we love to come back one day to stayVilla Song Saigon: "Relaxing 2-night stay at boutique"
"We enjoyed our brief stay at VS. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. A bulleted summary: Pros: onsite spa (for such a small hotel), staff, number of guests/rooms, location away from congested and loud central HCMC, food, water taxi (albeit operating times), grounds Constructive feedback: elevator (4 stories), water taxi (limited to 9a-6p from hotel), buffet breakfast (ala carte portions large if want to sample multiple items)"Tugu Lombok: "A Paradise on Heart"
"We've seen quite a few big and luxurious resorts, but we are sure that our stay at Tugu Lombok will remain in our minds like one of the most amazing. We stayed 2 nights in this slice of heaven and everything was absolutely perfect! The private beach is one of the most beautiful white sand beaches we’ve ever seen. The hotel not only offers kayaks and a Stand Up board free of charge but also all the Snorkel equipment providing us an absolutely mesmerizing experience exploring the sea. Our Villa, 106, was the second closest Villa to the main swimming pool. Only a green lawn separates the beach from the back garden where we had our own private swimming pool. The room was so big it feels like staying in a castle and had one of the biggest beds we have ever slept, where we were woken up every morning with a perfect sunrise. The bathroom is integrated in the garden where there was a big fishpond with Shower and bathtub outside surrounded by nature. The staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming serving us with a real smile and warmth. The food was exceptionally good. The breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious and best of all, we got to enjoy it anywhere we wanted. The hotel complex is huge and it is lovely to wander around. Everywhere we found pieces of Indonesian culture and art. Every time we went around we discovered a new lovely spot. We fell in love by this hotel! Absolutely everything was stunning. We will definitely recommend it to friends and family."Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "a Charming and nostalgic elegant retreat in Penang"
"This is my 3rd stay at Cheong Fatt Tze in 10 years Not only the building is beautifully restored and maintained, but a lot of efforts have been put to improve comfort in the rooms (new refurbished) and facilities (new garden and pool , new bar...) The Manager Daniel has done a great job with him team for attention to service and friendliness Impressive improvements. congratulations to all... We will be back!"Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Exceptional"
It is impossible to describe Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge. The scenery is breath taking, the food deliciously superb, the ambiance and staff first class. As a disabled person I (Allan) greatly appreciated having the bungalow closest to the main building. Marcus and his staff could not have been kinder or more considerate. Wish we could have stayed longer. As we are not exactly in the first flush of youth, it is unlikely that we will visit Nepal again but if we do we will certainly visit Tiger Mountain again. We wish Marcus and his team every success for the future. Sandra and AllanTandjung Sari: "Bali dreaming"
So greatfull that our friends recommended this gem. It was not too far from airport as I had an early flight the next day, however I was able to be in that old style Bail atmosphere for one night only. Nice cocktails, good food and comfortable spacious villa. Canopy bed to rest peacefully in. I even had a midnight swim!Flower Island: "Pristine paradise!"
"We spent 2 nights at flower island resort and loved every minute! The corals surrounding the island are stunning and thriving with life. We saw a turtle on our first snorkelling just a few metres away from the beach. The visibility is great, around 20-25m and there is plenty of fish. Our cottage had a direct access onto the beach with a beautiful view (especially for sunset). The staff on the island is very friendly, they even prepared a last minute dance show for us on our last evening there. We also had the chance to visit one of the pearl farms nearby, a fascinating industry. This place is a true paradise, we did not want to leave. Thank you flower island resort for such an amazing time."Muang La Lodge: "Unforgettable!"
"Our 3 nights in this timeless place were absolutely fantastic! The place is magic. The staff is incredibly professional and attentive and services went over our expectations. Breakfast is absolutely gorgeous. Croissant, Pain au Chocolat, Bread, Eggs, Homemade Jam, Fresh fruits...we enjoyed everything! The lunch is also very good. Simple and very tasteful dishes. Dinner is a bit more fancy. The taste and the presentation were much more subtle. You should try their cocktails! Especially one made with passion fruit, basil and Lao Lao, a traditional alcohol. We really enjoyed the food and the service. For our last dinner they even prepared an isolated table just for us! Thank you again for this very kind attention! The room was very clean and well furnished. The view on the river was very pleasant! We were very impressed by the discretion and level of professionalism of the housekeeping team. The swimming pool and the pool bar has been the place where we were spending our last minutes of sun everyday. Definitely a place where we were astonished by the beauty of the scenery. In short, our experience has been much more surprising than expected...This place made us aware of the incredible moments we were living. Priceless."Babe: "Amazing view, amazing food"
The restaurant is on the 11th floor of an office block, and has uninterrupted views of the twin towers and KL skyline. Everyone in our party took pictures, including the locals. The food is modern Japanese. We had the tasting menu which had some great items. However we ordered a couple from the menu and they were fantastic too. If you are there for a birthday then let them know - the card you get is unique
