Reverie Siam: "3rd visit"
We were at the Reverie Siam Resort in November 2014 for the first time, in May 2015 the second time, and now again in October 2015. It is difficult to compare the Reverie Siam Resort with any other of the many hotels in Pai, as this one is so special and different - and it's different to the very good side! The location is great, and so is the environment with a perfect garden and two pools. The real highlight, however, is the Silhouette Bar, it's staff and it's food, and not to forget the wine list which is the most extensive one I have ever seen in Thailand. Although it's only 100 km from our home in Sansai, you drive a felt number of 500 curves, but presently the road is reconstructed, thus in a few months driving there will also be convenient. We will certainly return, hopefully a few more times.....Les Maisons Wat Ko: "Beautiful resort"
A beautiful khmer house with Very nice green garden with small pond, my first impression is staffs are very friendly and warm welcome. Nice swimming pool big enough for inhouse guest. I've read about this restaurant in TripAdvisor and went to check out when my boyfriend came to visit me in Yangon. We loved each part of our Sunday lunch. The restaurant is beautiful, clean decoration, very attentive staff, beautiful lake view and very well organized. I am not sure if it is always like that but there were 2 set menu options available, 2 or 3 courses. We went for the 2 courses: starter and main dish. We ordered a rose wine to go along. The meal started with some lovely amuse bouche and they offered bread. My dishes were delicious and so were my boyfriend's. In the end, we were not sure if we had space for the dessert but we were offered a chocolate dish as house courtesy! We were delighted! The meal and drinks were not cheap but it worth each cent that we paid. The food, the ambience, the staff, the quality, the service, all high standard. I do recommend and I hope to return soon. "Beautiful hotel just outside the village of Pai. It felt like a true oasis in Northern Thailand. Every morning we were served the most amazing a la carte breakfast, delicious. There are two beautiful swimming pools where we relaxed the first day after the long scooter ride from Chiang Mai. Very low prices for food and cocktails, you would expect to pay a lot more in a 5 star hotel ike this. Only a short scooter ride to the village with many restaurants and bars. Here we discovered Northern Thailands, in our opinion most delicious dish: Khao Soi Gai. It can found in the main street where the night market is: two people are cooking on the street and they have a 'restaurant' behind them. They only prepair Pad Thai & Khao Soi Gai. Only 50B! Amazing. Please note that in the hotel only Western style food is served, no Thai food. If you want to relax a little also this is the perfect hotel to stay at in Pai. "Jings-residence: "A haven of peace"
"We stayed at Jing's Residence for 2 nights and this was really a wonderful experience. After the noise and the crowd of the city , Jing's Residence offers a quiet and peaceful environment, sophisticated yet making you feel like in a friend's or family home. From the rooms and exquisite decoration, to the restaurant and the staff, everything was perfect. We celebrated my father's birthday there and the staff was very kind and thoughtful. This place reminds me of Antonio's in my own hometown. A great restaurant tucked in the outskirts of the city. Great food. Great Ambiance. Great Service. Incredibly affordable at that. Now to think of it, this place is what "Antonio's" in every city should aspire to be. I had the set menu of salmon gravlax, pumpkin soup, braised beef cheeks, and sticky toffee pudding- all excellent. Starting from the room, the place was definitely designed towards honeymoon couples. The overall interior gives a wide open feel. Both Bedroom and bathroom are designed to have little partition, giving the guest more space. I really love how the nature is combined with the resort, the walking distance to the beach and the rocks are just perfectly calculated. It also has a high end dining quality, the menus are very creative, making every meal a notable accent to the whole stay.
