David’s Kitchen: "Number 1 for a good reason"
Its the best! Tried different restaurants in the area but this one stands out. The food is so tasty! Try it and believe the hype.Sea Dance Resort: "Honeymoon heaven"
"What can I say this place was absolute heaven for the five days we stayed as part of our honeymoon travelling around Thailand. The cottages are beautiful with extreme care and attention to detail from the giant beds with high thread count sheets to two types of blinds, one to offer privacy and one to block the light completely for sleeping. The air conditioning was the best we had, modern unit with no noise at all and they even provide a mosquito racquet, flip flops and beach bag and towels. The bathroom was amazing and completely different to anything we had experienced before as it was semi outdoor and had a tropical feel to it with lots of plants but still high spec with the fixtures and fittings. The facilities are excellent in general with an infinity pool, pool bar, kayaks to borrow at no charge, excellent WiFi throughout the resort. The staff went above and beyond with their hospitality, learning each guest by name and always ready to help with a smile, Faith and Helen were especially helpful throughout our stay with advice. The breakfast area/ restaurant/ shaded area was fantastic, open air and circular and by the pool it was fab if you wanted to sit and read in the shade and have a break from the pool or just sit and watch the world go by. In the evening it had a fab atmosphere and the food served was outstanding and we ate twice here, my husband saying the soft shell crab yellow curry was the best he had all holiday. They also do a happy hour on a weds where drinks are free! What more could you want?! We also took advantage of the spa and had the most AMAZING traditional Thai massage! The woman didn’t speak much English but she definitely knew how to do a massage! We also did the Thai cooking course that the resort offers, the trip to the local market was fab and the staff so friendly and helpful! My husband found it very helpful but I would say if you’re an adept cook give it a miss, better for families or someone with not much experience (like my husband!) There’s a really handy shop just outside the resort that you can rent a scooter from which we did for 200bhat a day (£5!) and it took a couple of hours to drive around the whole island or they can organise a taxi to the local Fisherman’s village for some nice restaurants and bars and a more lively atmosphere. There is also a 7 eleven at the top of the road. This is only a small resort but perfect if you want an ultimate chilled out, relaxing and personal holiday... we would recommend it a thousand times over! Thanks for an amazing honeymoon!"Satri House: "Fantastic boutique hotel"
Great service, well maintained, and smoothly run boutique hotel located just 500m from Luang Prabang downtown. Very friendly and discreet service, rooms in good shape and a fine breakfast restaurant as well as good pool and spa services. We'll be back.Rachamankha: "Amazing hotel retreat right inside four walls of Chang mai"
This hotel is centrally located in Chang Mai and is perfect for couples looking to escape and relax after long days of exploring. The hotel has the bones and charm of being built in the 14th century with all the modern conveniences. When we come back there is no doubt where we will stay.MesaStila: "Great place to relax our body and mind"
"This place is really a great place if u want to try an unique experience. - Resort's layout is awesome and well maintained. - They really gives us a great service. We ask for a pick-up service from Jogja, our driver is very nice . He told us a history about Mesastila and gives us recommendation of a tasty local restaurant at Magelang. Even the manager greet us when we walk around the resort. - Their SPA is must try. Hammam steam is already include if you have a treatment here, make sure the staff inform you about it. I have a hammam steam and javanese massage and it's really relaxing my body and make my skin smoother. Totally love it. - The room is very spacious large. We stay at Ambar Villa and I really love the outdoor shower and the bath tub. We can watch scenery while relaxing at bath tub and hearing a nature voice. It's really a great experience. - They do have many daily activities such as coffee plantation tour, yoga, power walk, etc. , and if you want to spend more money there are horse riding, cycling, etc . All you have to do just tell the staff and they would arrange everything. You don't have to worry how to spent a day here. My 1 night stay here feels very short. - My favourite food here is gado-gado. It taste good and beautifully presented. Thank you so much for all the Mesastila team so we can have a great time and great experience here. Tip : - no convenient store near the resort so make sure you bring all the basic necessity ( medicine, cosmetic, etc)."MesaStila: "A Mountainous Trip to Paradise"
"MesaStila is a hidden gem, the grounds are incredible and exceeded all our exceptions, The staff were willing to help us at every turn. This is a must of those looking to get away from it all, explore the grounds, enjoy many activities available, relax by the pool. Hire a guide and head to a waterfall where you will walk thru villages and experience central java at its best. This property is a must - its perfect for stopping and remembering how calm life can be without the hassle and bustle. I urge everyone to go here. Just note if you are travelling in a large group as we were (8A 9C) pre order lunches and dinners as it can take a while to get your meal. "Pindaya Farm House: "Relaxation!"
Withing easy reach of the Pindaya shrine, this modern farmhouse in a traditional style is a place of calm relaxation, surrounded by pretty countryside, and lovely views from the house. Really nice welcome, excellent food, great room. Loved watching the sunset, and the morning (we tried doing watercolours). Bicycle rides provided. The Cabochon Hotel: "Simply Amazing"
Stayed at this property for a vacation in Thailand on the reference of a local. It is tucked away off of a busy street and has the look and feel of a 1950s mansion. Such a cool property with amazing service and the feel of being at home. The rooftop pool was awesome and a treat to start each day. Would definitely stay here again!Villa Song Saigon: "Perfect River Side Restaurant"
The river is just beside the dinning area. The building, I feel there's a french romance in it. I found so many corners of it can make good seats. With some drinks and nice food, I had a perfect afternoon here! The Island Lodge: "Great weekend get-away from Saigon"
We spent a wonderful weekend at the Island Lodge Beautiful surroundings, great service. An extremely convenient destination for weekend get-aways from the hustle and bustle of Saigon. We came with our toddler and everything was made easy for him and us. The bike and boat tour was lovely.
