4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Disconnect from tech reconnect with nature"
"So shock horror no WiFi. Fantastic! You are properly able to relax but make sure you download any books before you go. No aircon but very good fans in the tented rooms. There are tents floating on a pontoon on the river. All the tents were well appointed and you could go for a swim from the decking around the tent. Good range of activities eg kayaking, a fantastic trip to a set of waterfalls that you can swim in, and a reasonably vigorous set of walks from an 90 mins to all day if very keen and fit. It’s in a beautiful setting and trying hard and succeeding to change lives and attitudes of local villagers. Some opportunities to see wildlife eg hornbills, ospreys etc. Liked its isolation"Cuca: "Great food and presentation"
Wonderful knowledgeable staff and great service. The food was excellent. We had a wide variety of dishes and everyone was very pleased with the quality and taste. Been back many times and can't fault the place.talabgaon castle: "Family owned Castle in the Indian countryside"
A group of four friends on the way from Jaipur to Ranthambore stopped at this magical place. It was like stepping back into time, when life was slower, and more elegant. The hotel is the generations old great-house of a noble family from Jaipur, who also happen to be some of the best polo players in India! The grounds include a polo field, gorgeous pool, and lots of little paths that criss-cross the gardens. The family treats you like a guest and like a member of the family — while we were there we were treated to a beautiful supper on the grass in the late afternoon sun — magical! All the rooms have been renovated and have amazing marble floors and fabulous baths, each with its own unique series of nooks and windows with amazing views of the countryside. The little village that is just outside the gates of the castle is charming too. What a delightful contrast to all the business that is India. A great place to relax and experience life at an Indian family 'home.'Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "residing in a museum"
Perfect place to stay for a few nights, very central to the downtown heritage streets and close to the beach front as well. Service is very attentive and the rooms have all the comfort you need on top of the stylish ambiance and grandeur of a historical mansion.tugu bali: "It doesn’t get any better than Tugu Hotel in Bali"
"First thing that impresses you about Tugu Hotel is the warmth of the staff! You will remember the efficient hospitality and the friendly nature for days to come! The beauty, the traditional ambience and the location takes you breath away. We were unlucky as we could not have their famed breakfast or dinner at the beach due to rains but the hotel staff was more than happy to organise the same in the best way possible indoors. We had booked their best villa i.e. the PurI Le Mayeur Villa for our honeymoon and we fell in love with the same. Every corner of the villa had such beautiful art to it. The villa is surrounded by a pond which adds to the experience of being alone with your loved one. Recommend the spa services here as they have experienced massage therapists who will give you relaxation in a traditional Balinese way that you don't experience in most spas! Also the All Day Breakfast is simply delicious and so filling! Me and my wife will always look back at this as our best stay in Bali and will definitely visit again! "MesaStila Resort and Spa: "Best hotel EVER"
I stayed for three nights at the MesaStila hotel and was blown away! The rooms are breathtaking, large, with enormous bath-tubs and rose petals, beautiful beds, and huge porch overlooking trees and valley. The service is impeccable, with housekeeping stopping by both morning and evening, to add special touches, fruit, etc that make the stay so special. Every single detail of the location is beautiful and made with love. Including the coffee which is grown and roasted on their very own plantation! Truly UNFORGETTABLE. Anyone should visit MesaStila!Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "Best stay"
We've stayed at Inle Heritage for three nights during out trip trough Myanmar and wished to stayed even longer. Everything was perfect: nice bungalow, very friendly staff, delicious food and nice boat trips organized by the hotel. We'll be back and would recommend this hotel to everyone.Mathis Retreat: "Peaceful and charming"
We treated ourselves to a night here to escape the busy Ubud centre. It's gorgeous. The rice field views, the beautiful swimming pool and the elegant restaurant. The rooms are comfortable with a modern Balinese design. The owner spent time to introduce herself after breakfast and part some helpful knowledge. We hope to be back!Tugu Bali: "High quality hotel with strong historical identity"
"We enjoyed very much Tugu Hotel for the beginning of our honeymoon with my wife, through a three nights stay. The particularity of Tugu Hotel is that it is also a kind of museum with valuable and well designed pieces of furniture, decorations and paintings. Rooms are like small houses with an internal private courtyard and a swimming pool. The garden is also well designed with nice statues coming from ages. The staff is nice: everyone in the hotel knew our names since the beginning for instance. "Sanak Retreat: "Tranquil oasis amidst the rice paddies"
My wife and I and two adult children had a great stay in one of the lovely bungalows overlooking the rice paddies. The accommodations were very comfortable and the food was good. Both days we toured the area, one day by van and the second day by ATV’s. This is a very relaxing, serene and pleasant spot.
