Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "A brilliant stay at the Cabochon Hotel"
We have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Cabochon Hotel and already cannot wait to return. A 5-10 minute walk from Phrom Phong BTS station off Sukhumvit- the location was ideal. Close to public transport, restaurants and shopping. The hotel is incredibly beautiful and filled with antiques and interesting things to look at. It was wonderful to return to such a calm and quiet space after a busy day out in the city. We stayed in a studio room and found it to be perfectly adequate for our needs. The bed and linen was comfortable, the air conditioning great and the general design of the room and furniture extremely chic. Breakfast is served from 7:00am to 10:00pm and we loved the continental buffet as well as the a la carte choices which included both Asian and Western options. The staff are extremely friendly and couldn't help us enough. They answered all our questions and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We will definitely stay at the Cabochon on our future visits to Bangkok and will be telling all our friends and family about it too!Cuca: "Amazing food"
We enjoyed a romantic dinner here in the garden. Beautiful restaurant and grounds. Staff are super friendly and helpful. They guided us through each item we ordered. Tapas were outstanding. We stayed 2 nights here at the end of a wonderful three weeks in Kerala. We arrived at 10am having spent two nighst on the Lotus Boat which was just magical. We were immediately show to our room, which was beautiful, leaving us the whole day to just relax.The food in the restaurants, was possibly a little pricey, and lost a bit in translation but we could forgive this for the perfect setting (right on the beach) and the service and attention of the staff. Walking along the deserted beach for over an hour, only seeing fishermen bringing in their nets is something we will never forget. We had a very late flight home and they kindly let us stay in our room so that we could enjoy the day and have dinner before we left. If you want to relax after touring, or just chill out this is the place to do it. Thank you for the perfect end to our holiday. I hope we will be back.Cuisine Wat Damnak: "First Class Food"

We spent a wonderful weekend at the Island Lodge Beautiful surroundings, great service. An extremely convenient destination for weekend get-aways from the hustle and bustle of Saigon. This is our fourth visit to Hotel Tugu. Per usual the facilities/rooms/property is so well taken care of and the staff are attentive. "Strange as it may seem. But we could not wait for the last four days of our holiday !! This lodge did not disappoint, the attention to detail, to ensure that your stay has the best chance of being a memorable one is impressive. There will always be somebody who will find fault, that is life ! The views are spectacular, the food excellent, ambiance spot on. We decided to have two days trekking, our guide Saajan was informative and considerate, and tailored the routes to suit our abilities, which was much appreciated by my wife who is not always the most sure footed rambler. The packed lunches were something that Enid Blyton would of approved of !! Marcus and his team can be proud of the experience they are delivering to their guests, and we will be returning to enjoy this hospitality as soon as we can. "These guys are super professional and want you to see animals in the wild - and lots of them, hence lots of hours are spent 'on safari'. Guides are educated and friendly - they know all the species of birds, animals and we always felt confident and safe. And yes we saw leopards - but we also saw loads of other wildlife including elephants and tusker elephants, monkeys, peacocks, water buffalo, leaping gazelle thingo's, the list goes on. The food was exceptional - a lot of attention paid to traditional Sri Lankan cuisine with different food for every meal. Accommodation is not quite glamping but is around the mark with all the necessary quality amenities and your own toilet and shower. This isn't a party place - safari comes first second and third; lights go out early in prep for 5am dawn safari, but the drinks flow ok over lunch and dinner if you so desire. There is also an afternoon/dusk safari if you would prefer to snooze in the mornings. "
