A CHARITY NIGHT TO REMEMBER!
Secret Retreats is proud to help organizing an event to raise funds for PIMALI Foundation to support their important work in providing training and opportunities in the hospitality industry for under privileged youth. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the foundation cannot organize their annual fundraising in Switzerland which is the main source of their much-needed revenue.
In order to assist this foundation with their vital and important work for Thailand’s youth, we have teamed up with our generous partners to organize a fantastic 4-Hands Dinner Event on December 1st for 60 guests at the wonderful Cabochon Hotel, one of Bangkok’s premier boutique hotels, with all of the proceeds from the event to be donated directly to the foundation.

Chef Steven – Empty Plates, Bangkok

Chef Num – Samuay & Sons, Udonthani

The ‘Four-Hands’ of the event are the dynamic Chefs from two of Thailand’s most exciting restaurants and members of Secret Tables:
  • Chef Num from Samuay & Sons in Udon Thani
  • Chef Steven from Empty Plates in Bangkok
And with excellent support from –
  • The team of experts at Cabochon Hotel, the venue for the dinner event in Bangkok.
  • Terra + Farmers & Co (our Secret Tables member in Chiang Mai) who will be kindly providing the freshest organic produce directly Farm to Table from their organic farm in the highlands of Northern Thailand.
  • Taittinger Champagnes, who will be pouring Champagne Taittinger Prestige Brut served with the amuse-bouche.
  • Batasiolo Fine Wines, who will be pouring Batasiolo Dolcetto and Batasiolo Moscato rose wines during the event.

In addition, Secret Retreats have offered to add Pimali’s accommodation to our Isan experiences along with the Mekong Villas, Supanniga Home and Samuay & Sons to feature and promote Pimali’s Bungalows to the travelling world to help them further raise revenue and provide more opportunity for their students to practice what they have learned from the foundation’s support and training. And of course, to attract more tourists to visit Pimali and their beautiful part of Isan. To have paying guests staying in the bungalows is another way for the foundation to gain money, while the students in the training will have an opportunity to practice with real guests.

There are 2 ways to support the Foundation with either way greatly appreciated:
1. By Attending the Dinner (if you are in Bangkok on December 1st)
The Four-Hands Dinner will start with a cocktail inspired by Isan rum and followed by a wonderful 6-course dinner with wine pairing expertly designed and provided by Taittinger Champagne and Batasiolo Fine Wines. Tickets for the dinner are charged at 5,500 Baht per person with 100% of the proceeds donated to the Pimali Foundation.

Private Dining for 6 or 12 Diners
An incredible 8-course dinner prepared for diners who book one of the Cabochon Hotel’s two private dining rooms.
The first dining room will be set for 6 diners and charged at 42,000THB inclusive private dining for 6.
And the second private dining room will be set for 12 diners and charged at 84,000THB all-inclusive for 12 diners.
With 100% of the proceeds donated to the Pimali Foundation.

Or

Thank YOU for your much-needed support for the PIMALI Foundation which will enable them to provide continued opportunities for under-privileged youth to start a new direction in their lives and build a career in the hospitality industry. This is vital work and with the loss of their annual fundraiser in Switzerland your support is GREATLY NEEDED.
