Villa Song Saigon: "Best customer service EVER"
Easily one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. They have a free breakfast meal which you can eat anytime of the day. And the breakfast includes a wide range of options beyond the obvious breakfast dishes. They have a free refillable mini bar in the room (wine, beer, juice, iced tea). The rooms are quite fabulous, try to stay in one that overlooks the river. The pool is quiet and stunning but right near the main entrance so you'll see visitors coming in and out a lot. If you're using Uber to move in and around the city, you can ask the concierge to help in translation. By far the service at this hotel is par excellence.Mudanwan Villa: "Relax"
"Here is completely relaxed did not control a parked five hungry have food do not be afraid to ride a bicycle can go to the beach Pool Spa can also let you enjoy fishing "Villa Song Saigon: "Top Boutique Hotel"
Our trip to Vietnam concluded with three nights at the Villa Song a delightful French Colonial Villa converted into a five star hotel situated next to the river. Everything about this hotel oozes class and the staff, food and accommodation were excellent. The hotel has its own motor launch which we took advantage of to visit the floating temple, a great experience and not to be missed, add to that the complementary shuttle service to the centre of Saigon, the free mini bar and breakfast availability at any time of the day and really I can't imagine there is a better place to stay if visiting SaigonNeeleshwar Hermitage: "Excellent"
"Beautiful setting. Less than 20 cottages spread out over a fairly large area so privacy is virtually guaranteed. Rooms are well appointed including a semi open bathroom in the garden view room we stayed in. Good dining options with the beachside restaurant our favourite. The beach itself is amazing running in both directions as far as the eye can see with not a soul in sight. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended."Rachamankha: "BEAUTIFUL hotel in the Thai tradition"
It was great to experience the beauty of Thailand in the guest rooms, the restaurant and the gardens. The whole property feels zen and made for a very restful stay. The breakfast which was included in the price of our rooms offered many choices and everything was delicious. The service is impeccable and friendly. Every place we saw was kept clean and neat. It's an amazing place! I'll never forget it!Inle Princess Resort: "Beautiful hotel on a beautiful lake"
"Out canoe took us from the pier at Inle to our hotel. As we neared the hotel and passed a small hut, our boat slowed down and one of the hotel employees jumped onto the front with an oar. He steered the boat slowly and then started using his right leg to maneuver the oar while balancing on the edge of the boat with his left leg. He would use his hands to put the oar in the air, then use the heel of his foot to bring the oar back in and around through the water. It was amazing. I thought they were doing this especially for the tourists, but later we saw many, many fishermen doing the same thing. This is the way of the inhabitants of Inle. The boys learn this skill as soon as they begin to walk. What balance! The resort is owned by a local Shan family. And of course it is right on the lake. Inle Princess Hotel is in the midst of nature surrounded by tropical gardens and lily ponds. The rooms themselves are traditional pyinkado (a Myanmar hardwood), teak and bamboo thatched houses. The dining room overlooks a large deck which overlooks the water. What a perfect place to sit in the evening, have a drink and watch the sun set. We checked in, were greeted with a warm towel (this was the custom at all the hotels), served some tea, were escorted to our room. Each room is a hut with tall ceilings, a large bed with a canopy (later, when we returned from dinner, the entire bed was surrounded by the canopy for warmth and to keep the bugs out. It was like sleeping in a cocoon). There is a sitting area and a big fireplace. Our view is of the mountains as the lake view rooms were not available. But still beautiful. After spending the day on the lake, we got back to the hotel just in time to go the bar, order a fancy Mandalay Rum drink and watch the magnificent sunset. The sky burst into flames of red, orange, pink, purple. And all that color reflected into the water. A beautiful way to end the beautiful day. Dinner had to be at the hotel as obviously you can’t get anywhere. It got cold once the sun the down and we were glad to have our fleece sweaters. A light down jacket would have been great. The locals all wear them! The food was delicious, the menu with beautiful paintings, the room surrounded by ovens. After dinner, back in our room, the fireplace had been lit with coals, the room was toasty, the minibar was free, our bed was surrounded by the cocoon and all was well. This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay."Zhiwa Ling: "Beautiful hotel in Paro, Bhutan"
This is a beautiful hotel in the magical and serene Paro valley in Bhutan, a place as faraway as one can imagine and more than a bit like the fictional Shangri La. Constructed in the architectural style of the country, it is a gorgeous property, with lots of open space. Rooms are located in about eight separate buildings, four to six rooms per building, all with balconies facing the nearby river. Our room was spacious and very nicely decorated; it included separate tub and shower, comfortable king size bed, balcony seating area and more than ample closet space. The fitness center is reasonably well equipped and situated in a large, attractive space adjacent to a large indoor swimming pool. The lobby and public meeting spaces are distinctively and comfortably furnished and decorated in the local style. The staff is as gracious and anxious to please as one can find in a hotel anywhere. This is a top tier hotel by any standard.Villa Song Saigon: "Elegant hotel on the Saigon River"
"We stayed a couple of nights at this hotel and it is really special. Right on the Saigon River and in District 2 of Ho Chin Minh. The service was really good and the location is perfect. You can catch the hotel boat shuttle directly to the main district 1 if required. The area around the hotel is quiet and we found some really nice restaurants. This hotel is number one on trip advisor for a reason. "The Island Lodge: "a very gracious , relaxing & peaceful… Francois had the loveliest of smiles"
"A very gracious, relaxing & peaceful place in My Tho Mekong. Francios had the loveliest of smile that radiated pure happiness. the staff had very good manners and were genteel.cheers Luci you could see the Mekong, setting sun and did not have to walk 1km to rooms. warmth and hospitality radiated through out the place."Jing’s Residence: "Old World Charm and Service"
Jing's Residence is a place where you can relax and recharge while travelling through China. You are staying in the centre of Pinyao and it is a busy place but once you are through the discreet entrance everything is all calm.
