Glenburn Tea Estate: "An Amazing Experience"
"The most ideal location for relaxation . Situated in a valley surrounded by pristine forests , this tea estate is a jewel . The hotel has eight beautifully done rooms and to find an accommodation during the peak season is difficult . Visiting this place I realised why it is so popular among international tourists as well as domestic travellers . You can relax here with a book or take trekking trips according to your preference . The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. Several cups of the best of teas can be tasted here throughout the day , the iced tea being my favourite . The tea factory tour is a must do. The Kanchenjunga , seen from the estate, with it's snow capped peaks , bathed by the morning sunlight was indeed a treat for the eyes"Dewakan: "This is the best, most innovative restaurant in Malaysia"
If there should be a Michelin Star Restaurant in Malaysia. it will be Dewakan. Kudos to the team for a great effort and wonderful food.Sukoon Houseboat: "Best houseboat: 5 star category as a houseboat.."
We stayed there for one night... but that one night was the best night for us in Kashmir... Room, bathroom, hotel staffs, foods all were up to the mark... we really had a great time...probably best houseboat in dal lake... houseboat's Shikara is also a big & beautiful one...must recommend for high budget tourists....Amata Lanna: "Best place to stay in Chiang Mai"
We loved this hotel!!! We booked it because it looked "Thai" in it's decoration etc. It did not disappoint! It is on a quieter street, but still so close to the night market and good restaurants. The pool is smaller, but located inside the hotel's peaceful courtyard. The staff were so kind and attentive. Honestly, this is such a great hotel. I would book immediately if you can. It is smaller, so I'm guessing as word gets out how wonderful it is, that it will sell out fast. Take my advice and stay here when you are in Chiang Mai!!The Apsara Rive Droite: "A real gem!"
The Apsara rive droite is a lovely small friendly and luxurios hotel. We loved it and had a river view room with a nice terrass overlooking the river. The staff was nice and especially the assistant manager who was so helpsome and kind. We borrowed bikes during the day and took the hotels river boat in the evening. We relaxed around the pool and most of the time it was peaceful and quiet. I was surprised to ser that there were small kids since I had seen on the internet that kids under 12 were not allowed! Of course it 's hard for young kids to talk quitely and not to yell and laugh loudly so I think it would be better in such a quiet place not to let kids stay there. When you travel without your kids you don't want to be awakened by other kids and you want to have breakfast and other meals in quiet surroundings. It could be old information but there still is information on certain sites that kids are not allowed. It's a super nice place and I really recommended it!Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "A space for nature"
"Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge manages to knit together the very best in comfort, service and food, whilst making space for nature. A difficult feat to achieve, but one that I and my mother very much appreciated. There is no forced planting of exotic, introduced flowers and tightly strimmed grass, which seems to have become the standard everywhere around the world in boutique hotels and lodges. Instead, the focus is on allowing the smaller but essential things in life to flourish, such as butterflies and solitary bees, without the average guest even knowing these wonderful insects are there. Marcus and his team recognise the importance and value of these pollinators (we would have no coffee or chocolate if it was not for insects pollinating the flowers of these plant species!) and have cleverly crafted and created an environment that allows space for all. This is an ideal place for birding, but even better if you are interested in Lepidoptera. The team's knowledge and enthusiasm is nothing short of incredible, and I am truly in awe that so much time and effort is invested in compiling inventories of what they have found there. It is clear that this is not just a passing interest, or an attempt at green-wash to enhance visitor numbers, but a genuine desire to accurately record the diversity of the lodge. Many congratulations to you all. You have achieved the trickiest of things by providing first class accommodation, food and service without compromising the location. I'm very much looking forward to my next visit. Stayed April 2017, traveled with family"Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Blue Heaven"
We loved everything about the Mansion. The incredible story of its history and renovation, the beautiful rooms and the overwhelming sense of being in a cocoon. Add the lovely breakfast offerings and the sensational food at Indigo and it feels totally indulgent. But for us the crowning glory was the people. From the energetic and inspirational owner to Daniel the manager through to housekeeping, everyone was delightful, engaging and had a strong customer focus. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and they were always looking for ways to make our stay even better. This is a top class business and I cannot recommend it highly enough.Anopura: "Still wonderful"
"We returned to Anopura after three years, and enjoyed it just as much as before. The remote setting is wonderful, the accommodation is excellent, and Ishwar and his team provide a wonderful service. Breakfast by the pool, lunch in the shade and dinner under the stars are all delightful, with fresh local ingredients. On a walk with Ishwar we got to meet some of the producers of the food we'd eaten in the days before. After five hectic weeks in Rajasthan this was a marvellous way to finish our trip. We would love to return again. Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Friday dinner"
A really exceptional experience - divine location attentive staff and a warm welcome from the proprietors. Each dish was exquisite and was worth the premium prices charged. Atmosphere was also splendid and once the rains end I can imagine the al fresco experience is the best in Yangon as it has a wonderful location on the bank of Inya LakeMesaStila: "Heaven on earth"
"Perfect gateway from your daily routine. Feels like heaven on earth. While all the staff giving sincere smile and the warmest service , you can enjoy the best mountain view from your villa with nature surround you. This is the most unforgettable memories , and other facilities it's also one of a kind. And sure , i will be back again soon"
