Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Wonderful meal!"
Very delicious food - loved all three courses. We made a request to swap a menu item from the other course, and they were very accommodating!Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "Charming Boutique Hotel"
Fell in love with this hotel as soon as I arrived and had to sit in the magnificent library for a while to wait until my room was ready. This hotel reminded me of a smaller version of Raffles in Singapore. Great attention to detail, superb breakfast, friendly staff and spacious rooms. Loved the pool on top of the residence and had a great meal at the restaurant. Location is superb with close proximity to BTS and other excellent restaurants at Rain Hill.Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "A fantastic experience"
What a wonderful place. The rooms are fantastic, cooking excellent and the staff are just brilliant. We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed, attentive service, the fantastic views from the room. The concept of the hotel is perfectly executed, a joy.Cuisine Wat Damnak: "One of my top choice in Siem Reap"
"It is a must to visit Cuisine Wat Damnak during your stay in Siem Reap! The food was great, a mixture of local and french style. The atmosphere was stunning, we sat on the first floor and enjoyed our meal. We were supposed to sit near the window, enjoying the moonlight and clear sky in Siem Reap. The waiter helped us to change the seats while it suddenly started to rain and a few drops started coming from the roof top. We wanted to visit for our next trip in Siem Reap, sadly find out it's closed in coming April. Maybe the chef need to go for vocation as well."Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Great staff, great views, enlightening walks"
Marcus Cotton and the rest of the Tiger Mountain family have created a unique oasis in one of the most beautiful spots in the world. Superb food, well stocked bar, appropriately appointed rooms and a morning view from the infinity pool that simply cannot be believed combine to let you relax from the bustle of Kathmandu and enjoy the rest of the country as you continue your trip after a few days. While Pokhara had its pleasures, we found the nature walk, particularly the interaction with locals (particularly children) from the homes scattered nearby, to be one of the highlights of our almost month long trip. We were there prior to the date in the TripAdvisor menu, but our travel agent says the location remains largely unchanged. When we talk about checking off all the bucket list places, and starting round two, Tiger Mountain is always the first location mentioned. We'll be back, Marcus...Summertime Villa: "Warm perfection"
"Summertime Villa in Calangute Goa is one of those rare places where every thing is right To wake up in a place full of sunshine and walk with bear feat over the warm tiles to the terras and have a delicious breakfast. This is what a true lazy holiday can be. The staff is always ready to serve you. Lots of attention to detail, we loved the abundance of birds. There are many colourfull birds around the house, but also insite where all kinds of bird figures are around you. The hosts also own a boat, a sunset trip to the lagoon is lovely, we even saw a dolphin. We are a family of 4 with teenage children, lots of space in three big bedrooms"Misool Eco Resort: "Unique and Amazing!"
"My wife and I have traveled enough to say this resort is one of the most amazing, unique places in the world. The story behind the why the resort exists and the process to create it so impressive. The diving, as many others have pointed out, is some of the best bar none. Yes...there are some challenges. Not the easiest place to get to. They could also do a better job with communication prior to arrival. (hopefully being solved soon) Once you arrive and get one night's good sleep, you will be so happy you made the journey. We did the 9+1 trip and that felt like a very good length. Next time (and there will very likely be a next time within the next few years) we will likely go for the 12+1. There is so much to do even when you are not diving but we spent most of our time diving because the dive team is great and its just so magical underwater. Of course you don't want to miss the dive when others in your group just spend 30 minutes with three mantas right? I could go on and on about why and how this team is making miracles in this tiny island but I prefer short reviews on trip advisor. If you love to see underwater life and have the time and money to make this journey, give it a go and have a wonderful experience."Mrauk U Princess Resort: "wonderful stay"
Lovely room, friendly staff. Much sightseeing in surrounding area. Sights that you would not see elsewhere. Six hour trip up the river from SIttwe was relaxing and very interesting. Stayed three nights. Not your average location but you get a terrific glimpse of the countryRachamankha: "Beautiful, boutique hotel, don’t expect 5 bars, a gym & 3 restaurants"
A gem of a hotel, hidden away down a side lane in the old city. No noise, 24hr security & an architectural wonder of Thai design. Rooms with covered walkways are all built round open courtyards with paths, palm & oleander trees & pots, joining them to different areas of the hotel. The pool area is beautifully maintained & the library has an old colonial feel with many interesting subjects to browse, particularly travel & architecture. Our room was quiet, spacious, spotlessly clean, with an excellent shower & lovely Moulton Brown toiletries. Breakfast was taken outside or in, waiter served with choices cooked to order. Very relaxing compared to the pandemonium of buffet breakfasts experienced elsewhere. Restaurant evening meals delicious & beautifully presented. Would definitely return & recommend.4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Amazing hotel"
We spent 3 nights here at the beginning of August and the whole experience was fantastic. The tents are incredible and I love the fact there are no TVs or ACs. The staff were excellent, and really went above and beyond. The location is stunning and we really enjoyed the trip to the waterfall and kayaking around. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat
