Samuay & Sons: "Great and unexpected gem"

"I'm really glad that we stopped in here to get some food. The food is phenomenal, and the preparation and presentation is quite unique. It's a different take on Thai food, and the folks who work there had time to talk to us, and give us an education on how they source the food, from farm-to-table, and have relationships with actual farmers. The head chef even brought us different types of brown rice to show differences. I enjoyed their take on Tom Yam. I think one of the wonderful things they understand is that food IS medicine and it can heal you. I also like that they travel quite a bit, so they have a sophisticated palate, and introduce you to food you've already had, and make it in a new, and creative way. The dessert was also great. It wasn't overwhelming, like it sometimes can be. I ended up taking a lot of photos because they have some of the best presentation around. Thank you, Samuay & Sons!!!!"

Tugu Lombok: "Wonderful stay at Lombok"

"Amazing hotel... Quiet, marvelous decor, beach access, good selection of food & amazing staff - all very attentive to your needs. We had a very particular bathroom but all so nice. One memorable stay at Hotel Tugu! And very happy we included it with our Bali trip. "

Chakrabongse Villas: "Wonderful hotel"

"We stayed one night in this hotel. This hotel is really beautiful. It is authentic and well located in the city. I would definitely recommend it. The room is huge and you have a large terrace. The breakfast is really good and can be served on the terrace as well. The staff speaks a very good English and are very helpful. This hotel would be a bit more expensive than other hotels that we did in Bangkok but it is definitely worth it. We hope to come back in Bangkok and stayed there. Thank you again for the Thailand flag :)"

tugu lombok: "Unique, thoughtful service in a stunning location"

"We spent 3 nights in Tugu and were firstly impressed by the size and beauty of the property. The long stretch of private beach and two pools offer a lot of space and comfy sun loungers. The surrounding area and restaurant/ lobby is beautiful - very authentic and often pays tribute to the Hindu religion and times gone by, but is very charming. The service is excellent - they offer a very personal service and give great advice about hotel activities and the surrounding areas. Elly and Henry in reception are brilliant. The menu is extensive and the food was good. Smoothies and cocktails are excellent. We also enjoyed a private yoga class and massage - both were great and reasonably priced. If you are looking for sun, sea, sand, good food, service, activities - then this is the place! "

The Cabochon Hotel: "Unique interiors charming staff"

Our room was spacious and unique in interior design. The staff were charming and very helpful. Hotel is small and has the feel of a private club. Good location near major shopping centers and the train.

Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "Beautiful place to stay"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night holiday stay at the Blue Mansion. The place is just beautiful and steeped in history. Our 'Scholar' room was spacious and secluded although the food court noise from next door is very loud at night. Earplugs provided by the hotel fixed it to some extent, but book a room on the other side if wanting an early night! The mansion is ideally located close to food outlets, markets and it's walking distance to the Fort and other historic attractions. Pool area was small but ideal at the end of hot days. Indigo restaurant on site was a pure delight. Breakfast was interesting - try the duck and noodles for a treat! Room service drinks were reasonably priced and staff were very helpful and friendly. The biscuits and rice cake surprises in the room each day, with a hand-written greeting on a leaf, were an additional delightful touch. We loved our stay here. Stayed April 2017, traveled as a couple"

Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "wonderful place to stay"

A friend and I just had a wonderful 4 night stay in one of the two bedroomed residences in this charming quirky colonial style hotel. It's filled with beautiful things that are either saved over much time or recently acquired by someone with seriously good taste.(...)The staff were friendly and helpful at all times and it was a treat to sit out on the balcony in total peace each morning reading the daily paper and enjoying being looked after with a (complimentary) breakfast before heading into the madness that is Bangkok. This hotel is down a quiet street (ski) in a lovely part of town, so peaceful yet so close to almost everything one needs to see and do.It also has complimentary phones calls to anywhere in the world - I'm a frequent traveller and this is a first for me.

Tugu Lombok: "world class tropical island resort"

"We recently stayed at hotel Tugu for our honeymoon. From the moment we were picked up at the airport the hotel staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The hotel staff were always very friendly, and happily greeted us at breakfast, lunch and dinner and whenever we were out and about in the resort. The staff were very enthusiastic to offer us activities around the island during our stay. We were pretty much able to make any of our Lombok dreams come true. We were able to experience traditional weaving in a traditional women's weaving village, amazing water falls at sanur, my husband hand fished with the local fisherman, snorkeling with turtles in beautiful clear waters off the Gili islands and a beautiful romantic beach side dinner at sunset. our honeymoon at hotel Tugu was an absolutely amazing experience. We were welcomed like family, a perfect getaway. Complementary breakfast and afternoon tea was always wonderful and of the highest quality. The complimentary massages were very welcoming as well, thank you. Half way through our stay we were generously upgraded to an Oceanside villa with a plunge pool which was extremely generous, thank you Mr Henry. We traveled in low season and it felt like we pretty much had the whole resort all to ourselves. If you want seclusion, privacy, away from ""the rat race"", relaxation, beautiful surroundings, wonderful atmosphere ,world class service and a romantic tropical island beach resort get away, we would highly recommend hotel tugu Lombok. A special thanks to hotel manager Henry and every single one of his amazing team on there attention to detail and customer service we received at all times throughout our stay. Tugu Malang: "lovely boutique hotel with a lot of history"

i only stayed one night and liked it a lot. we were given a tour if the hotel and learned so much about the history of the house. there are so many pieces of art with so much history. stay there and take the tour. don't forget to eat there!

Jing’s Residence: "Terrific stay, best in Pingyao"

My family of four stayed 2 terrific nights at Jing's Residence in November 2016. The staff was incredibly attentive, and very engaging and friendly to our two young children. The hotel is beautiful, clean and well appointed. Wonderful atmosphere. Fantastic food, also. Location is perfect for exploring Pingyao, and the hotel can arrange a reasonably priced car and driver to nearby attractions. Highly recommend this hotel to stay, and the restaurant also. Pingyao - due in part to how much we liked Jing's Residence - was one of my favorite experiences in China over four years living here.
