Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Highlight of our trip"

Review by: Conrad C | Source: Trip Advisor
"Besides being fortunate enough to see a leopard on our first game drive, the entire experience at Noel Rodrigo’s safari camp is outstanding! The camp itself is beautiful, very comfortable, and clean. It’s a small camp, which is perfect for getting to know the other guests, and it’s directly outside the park boundaries, making it both quiet (except for the lively jungle sounds, of course) and convenient for embarking on game drives. Despite some reviews that Yala is overrun, I didn’t find that to be the case. Often we were the only group (the camp has two vehicles), and sometimes there was one other group nearby. The camping facilities are deluxe! The king size bed and hot (outdoor) shower were amazing and comfortable! And the food was 5 star, absolutely delicious, and impeccably presented. All the guides here were so passionate and knowledgeable, and worked as if they were owners of the camp. They were so kind and helpful, and spoke fluent English, which was helpful for answering all our questions about the wildlife and plants. I certainly recommend going on safari in Sri Lanka — it was the highlight of our trip for sure — and in my opinion, Noel Rodrigo’s camp and crew were absolutely outstanding! Thanks for the incredible memories (and photos!)."

Tugu Lombok: "Unique Antique Boutique Retreat"

Review by: gonebamboo88 | Source: Trip Advisor
"We were totally spoiled by the beauty and warm hospitality of this place. A feast for the eyes and senses. Park-like grounds littered with art and antique structures collected from around Indonesia. We had a spacious and comfortable villa room – (with a koi pond!). The beach is long enough for a good walk and there are two pools – one Olympic size that's good for doing laps to work up an appetite for the outstanding meals (we mostly ate off the local menu, sate, curries, grilled fish, street food breakfast – consistently excellent), wine by the glass is entirely drinkable and the martinis are good and dry (although they should shake and pour at the table so the ice flakes don’t melt). We had the relaxing Balinese style messages at the spa - the therapists were lovely, easy to communicate with and skilled. Our three night stay was hardly long enough. We’d go back in a heartbeat. Note: if you like cycling, go for a ride in the surrounding countryside – you’ll feel like a celebrity. The retail opportunities suggested by our driver from the hotel on the way to the airport are high quality and not tourist traps: a pearl gallery that has natural (not dyed) golden pearls special to Lombok and the weavers’ village offers high quality, authentic local weaving."

Supanniga Luxury Bangkok River Cruises: "Spectacular!"

Review by: Dave A | Source: Trip Advisor
I'm not exactly sure what web thread I followed to discover this jewel of a dining experience but I'm thankful for finding it! From the moment we were escorted onto this intimate floating restaurant to our departure two hours later, we felt like royalty. Champagne, a six course Thai feast (explained each step of the way by our server), tastefully selected music, and the exotic sights of the illuminated shoreline made this absolutely remarkable.

Yandabo Home: "Wonderful hotel that tastes like home"

Review by: Marian B | Source: Trip Advisor
Coming from the busy and noisy Yangon, spending two days in Yandabo Home makes you feel like in heaven. Beautiful rooms with a crazy chic style; very few places like this in Myanmar. One of the best trained staff in the country. Totally worth going!!!

The River Resort: "Magical spot on the mighty Mekong"

Review by: SaigonSophie | Source: Trip Advisor
This is a peaceful and tranquil spot, views of the river and surrounding mountains are stunning. Sunrise over the water was mesmerising. Chamapasak is a sweet little town and Wat Phou, an enchanting temple complex, is a short moped ride away. The staff were charming and attentive and helpful.

Nimmu House: "4 nights of sheer bliss"

Review by: VagabondOnTheMove | Source: Trip Advisor
"We spent a bulk of our stay in Ladakh at Nimmu House and it truly was the best decision ever. We stayed in one of the tents which was super spacious and extremely comfortable. The property itself is a picture-book-kinda pretty and we just loved hanging out at the patio or napping on the hammocks. But what makes Nimmu feel more like a home than a house is the fantastic team running the place. From the manager to the chefs to the wait-staff down to the housekeeping and gardeners, everybody is just really nice and welcoming and ready to help if needed. The best part about our stay here however, was the food. After some pretty average meals in the rest of Ladakh, the meals at Nimmu were just fantastic. Do yourself a favour and don't book just a single night here. Ideally, once you're done sightseeing and roadtripping, stop by here for at least 3 days of R&R...you won't regret it. The only one piece of feedback we had for the management/ owners was to invest in better power back up. With frequent power cuts, it's a must."

Nimmu House: "Beautiful hotel with friendly staff"

Review by: Bart v | Source: Trip Advisor
"The best place I have stayed in India in 4 months! The hotel is situated about 40 minutes from Leh and represents the nature of the area very well, while accommodating tourists in pleasant comfort. This means that it is very stylish designed, both modern and authentic. Also the place is surrounded by local people and even cows. The rooms came with all comfort and you can see that the staff puts in some extra effort to make it super comfortable. Food cooked is very special and delicious. There is plenty to discover in the surrounding area."

Reverie Siam Pai: "Very nice and relaxing"

Review by: andrea c | Source: Trip Advisor
Passed 3 nights in this nice hotel locate just 1 km from Pai town centre. The resort is really nice, it has 2 nice swimming pools, very good mediterranean restaurant and lovely rooms well equipped. Breakfast is à la carte, so you can choose whatever you prefer. It is really good! Wish to come back

Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Superb"

Review by: James A | Source: Trip Advisor
"What a wonderful place. We are not easily impressed as we have been working in the travel industry for years so have stayed in some of the top hotels of the world but Neeleshwar is exceptional. We stayed 6 nights and left regrettably so happy and relaxed. Everything was perfection!!"

Cuca: "Great, creative dinner"

Review by: Capo44 | Source: Trip Advisor
We came here for some cocktails outside and then dinner at the chef's table. The drinks were very good and very creative! The food was delicious and I also think creative and well thought out. The service could not be better either! We enjoyed the chefs table. The restaurant outside and table seating looked very nice, but it was different sitting at the chefs table and they briefly explain the dish and answer any questions when they bring it to you. Additionally, our servers also seemed very knowledgeable on the dishes being served. Pricing was good. You will always pay a bit more for nice cocktails, but they were worth it and I don't think overpriced compared to other places. The food is very reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend stopping in Cuca whether for a full meal or cocktails and snacks as it's all tapas style!
