Tugu Bali: "Amazing service"
"We have chosen this hotel to start our 10 days Bali tour moving from West, to Ubud and ending by Candidasa. Fantastic boutique hotel, wooden construction and local spirit. Everything is warm and easy. In a private garden, you may choose pool house or ""Rejang Suite"" (such as we did). Food and service are just great. Our only one unhappiness was the environment, with a dirty beach (we'be been told that it is normal during this period). But what an amazing sunset !!! Some local shops (cloths and vegan restaurant) are only 15mn by walk or 2-5mn by scooter. We shall definitely return during our next trip. Very beautiful place with a rich history to it. The close-to-Pernankan experience was awesome with a rich architecture and straits born designs! Food was good. Breakfast selection limited but rest assured that it's very tasteful! Service was excellent esp Shiro who made our stay more than wonderful than it already was! I will definitely go back again!Glenburn Tea Estate: "New Year’s Eve"
A boutique property in the midst of the tea estate with captivating views of Mt Kanchenjunga. The 19th century built cottages are luxurious and remind of the English countryside. One can spend the entire day relaxing and sun bathing in the beautiful lawn gazing at the variety of flora and the majestic mountain ranges. They offer various hikes exploring the nearby villages walking though the tea estates with expert in-house guides. Must visit property if one wishes to get pampered in the most beautiful of locales.Tugu Bali: "Magical grounds and delightful staff"
We loved our Dedari Suite with the private pool. Our favorite feature was the beautiful and peaceful indoor/outdoor shower - I've never enjoyed washing up more! The grounds were lovely, and the location right next to Batu Bolong Beach was great for surf lessons. Every single staff member was welcoming and friendly, and they truly went out of their way to help us get the most out of our stay.Tugu Lombok: "Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Genuinely"
"Where do I start...Hotel Tugu Lombok is quite simply the best hotel I've ever stayed in. I have travelled a fair amount, both for business and holidays, and I have never stayed anywhere quite as special as Hotel Tugu. In the first night of our stay we actually got engaged here, however engagement aside, I adored this place. The staff are wonderful, every single person. Truly lovely, warm and kind people. I can't say enough good things about them! The setting is stunning with a private beach and clear ocean. The two swimming pools are gorgeous and the restaurants with their views are so quiet and peaceful. Quite simply this hotel is an idyllic oasis of calm where you can truly switch off and relax. The grounds are beautiful and so well cared for with hammocks, seating areas, day beds, etc. We stayed in villa 205 which was gorgeous - a giant four poster bed which was the most beautiful and biggest bed I've ever slept in. The outdoor bathroom was stunning and huge, with a massive tub and the coolest overhead rain shower you'll ever see! Breakfast is delicious and served until late, with gorgeous smoothie bowls - about 10 to choose from. Lots of egg dishes, pancakes, waffles, fruit, juices etc! Every afternoon between 4 and 6pm there is afternoon tea in the gardens which is a wonderful touch with homemade cakes, that change every day. We loved everything we ate for dinner, and there is a new page of specials every evening. You can dine on the beach in amongst lots of candles and it feels so private and special. There are paddle boards, snorkels and kayaks for your use - they've thought of everything! One evening we took bikes and rode to a different beach to watch the sunset. It felt like one of the most special moments ever and was quite simply breathtaking. The locals are lovely and showed us the way so there was never a chance we had could get lost. On our final night while we were at dinner and the staff created what can only be described as animal farm made of towels in our bedroom. It was ridiculously good!!!!! They'd also lined the whole path to our villa with flower petals and candles! To sum up we didn't leave the hotel apart from to cycle to sunset. We stayed 4 nights and I did not want to leave. If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would. It was the most luxurious, relaxed and incredible hotel. Cannot recommend enough."Chakrabongse Villas: "An oasis in a busy City"
"The villas are in the heart of the Royal 'precinct' in the old part of the city. Its a great location, close to the Royal Palace, the Siam Museum and the flower markets. However once inside the walls, it is very calm and very relaxing. The villa's have a very authentic old Thai feeling to them and it is a refreshing change from normal 5 star hotel rooms. There are a limited number of villas and this allows them to make each guest feel very special. We dined at our own table out beside the river each night. We loved it! The food is also excellent. Another aspect of the villas that make the experience different is the story behind the villas, and the links to the Royal family. It is another reason, this hotel is a refreshing change from the normal 5 star hotels. I would highly recommend the villas and I am looking forward to going back there next time we are in Bangkok"Tugu Malang: "A unique museum hotel"
I was staying here after a long motor ride from Surabaya and spoiled myself with all the beautiful interior furniture that has been chosen carefully. Some vintage and antique wall wood working and painting make this hotel looks like a museum with all the art being put there. Every room and chamber has its own design. Mixture between Javanese, Balinese wood furniture and old colonial building. A unique bathroom with vintage stainless bath tub and sink, also nice packaging of the amenities put another credit for this hotel. Some of the room is made for a real museum with all the ancient chinese ceramic pottery, bronze sculptures, silver dining set, small statue aged hundreds years which decribe the owner must be a filthy rich collectors. But I don't really like the part of the hotel which made as mediteranian middle east concept that seems bland and unmatch comparing to the other parts of the hotel. In the afternoon they serve various local tea and coffee, herbal drink and traditional snack for free for the guest staying in the hotel. Overall, I am quite satisfied staying there even only one night. Worth the value of money.Tugu Bali: "Aesthetic delights"
"Hotel Tugu is a different hotel than most, and for me - better. Why? I stayed in a suite, more expensive than my custom but I loved the space, the views, the lily pond below and the style of accommodation. The idea of Tugu is that it houses a collection of antique Indonesia art - which I loved - and the hotel itself is designed to be congruent with the art it houses. So you have a place with a quality of history, of character and of class - all at the same time. It is comfortable, the facilities are excellent, I ate extremely well and most noticeably, I was so well looked after by all of the staff there. I would happily return, and that is my best recommendation."Villa Song Saigon: "It’s a 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 hotel indeed!"
We are glad that we picked this hotel for our first visit of Vietnam. A group of 10 love this hotel at the first sight we arrived. The team is so well trained and competent. Every hotel staff of frontdesk, restaurant, and also hotel manager are so helpful in arranging recommended restaurants, spa, shopping area, and transportation to make our first stay of Ho Chi Minh City wonderful! Hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. Each with unique design. The swimming pool open 24/7 and so we can have our mid-night gathering there! Breakfast menu is awesome. Love the special care from the team again. We would highly recommend this hotel to every one going to Ho Chi Minh City!satrin house: "The Oasis in Luang Prabang"
"This resort is very charming and colonial, tucked away from the main town area, with a very serene and quiet surrounding. The main town area is just some easy 5-8 min walk away, which gives this resort the best of both worlds - convenient yet peaceful. The service was excellent. We were personally greeted by Mr Lucky and Ms Navinda, both were very warm and hospitable. Breakfast was superb too, with very interesting choices and generous servings. Room make-up service was very prompt and frequent, and they would replace the used towels with clean ones each time they make up the room. There are 2 pools in the resort, with a lot of secret hidden corners for you to discover, and you can have the whole place to yourselves to relax. Before checkout, the hotel staff even packed the breakfast for us to eat before our flight. What a nice gesture! We would not hesitate to return and recommend this place to everyone visiting Luang Prabang. "
