4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "Floating Paradise in the Jungle – Outstanding Service and Amazing Location"
"There are so many wonderful things about this hotel; the location, the staff, the activities, the atmosphere…. (…)The rooms are beautiful – poshest tent I have ever stayed in, and it really is floating – you can feel a gentle movement at night time and when people walk past – which I really liked. The people that work at the hotel and as trip guides are all mostly all from the local island opposite and surrounding village area which gave the whole experience a real charm. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful - it really was a perfect paradise. The hotel manager arranged our transport back to Phomn Penh for us (we opted for a shared VIP bus on the way back - which was $15 each and took about 5 hours). One of the members of staff waited with us in Tatai village until the mini bus arrived and loaded our bags etc… - truly exceptional and helpful service. One of the main highlights has to be waking up and diving straight into the river from your personal deck and also kayaking around the islands! This is an incredible experience not to be missed! "David’s Kitchen: "Wow, what a fabulous French cuisine restaurant. Food and service excellent"
Visited David's Kitchen with friends and was pleasantly surprised at the ambience of the restaurant. You could not get any better food and service in Paris itself. This restaurant is a must if you are visiting Chiang Mai.Amata Lanna: "Beautiful"
This small hotel is just wonderful- made of teak wood, it is traditional in style with all rooms centred around a beautiful courtyard with a swimming pool. The rooms are large and well appointed. We arrived on a cool day so the large spa tub was a delight for a warm relax. The staff are just delightful and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. There is the choice of shrimp or pork rice soup, or a western breakfast, as well as options for toast and fruit and juices. The mango sticky rice was a highlight and the coffee fabulous. We walk a lot, so we found it easy to walk to the old town (20 min), and the river is closer as is the Night Bizaar. The Anusan market is just to the north of the hotel- we found this a great walk through to the old town. Adored this place, highly recommend it and would stay here again. The Village House: "A little bit of Borneo"
"We visited for 2 nights from Kuala Lumpur to see a little of Borneo. The booking process was really smooth, and we had lots of advice on which trip to book. We arrived late on a Friday and the taxi the hotel had arranged was waiting for us to whisk us to the hotel. About an hours drive. We booked the suite which is a large room, decorated in a local style but all the mod cons, so to speak. Comfortable large bed with a large screen TV at the base. Good coffee machine, and large bathroom. Everything we could need. Saturday morning we went to Bako National park with a guide arranged by the hotel – we had a great day, he knew where to find all the local species of monkey! Saturday evening we had the 8 course tasting meal, which was delicious and not too much, although we had been walking all day! The beach at the end of the road is worth a stroll along, it is beautiful. As others have said, not somewhere you’d stop to sunbathe. The staff were charming, the bar was a great place to grab a drink before and after dinner. It is a quiet hotel, but it’s perfect for a short break."Satri House: "WONDERFUL STAY AT SATRI HOUSE"
We (9 ladies) stayed at SATRI HOUSE 22 October for 3 nights. What an amazing tranquil place to stay. I cannot fault the service, the rooms, the breakfast or the staff. It was decorated with so many antiquities that everyday you discovered something new. It has 2 pools and lounge rooms that are devine. The Spa there was fantastic - had to use everyday. If you ever need some beauty and peace this is the place to stay - a very short walk or tuk tuk into town - a few minutes. I need to take my husband there to unwind. It really was a special place...would highly recommend!Tugu Bali: "A+ Service. Beautiful Rooms"
So happy we found this beautiful hotel. We were blown away from the moment we walked in. The staff was delightful and very welcoming. The rooms were absolutely stunning, huge comfortable bed, gorgeous plunge pool, excellent AC, luxurious Balinese tub, and beautifully crafted local furniture and art. We also took a cooking class while staying, it was lovely. We'd recommend skipping the market visit, it was a long drive for such a quick stop. Regardless, it was a great way to spend one of our mornings in Canggu. We made enough food to enjoy for lunch and dinner. We definitely enjoyed our stay!Rakkojae Seoul: "A peaceful"
This hanok is very beautiful. I had a peaceful moment when staying there. The food is delicious and the host are very helpful and nice. He is a good English speaker, it is easy to communicate with him and he is always in quick respond. Definitely, I will stay here again and highly recommended!Muang La Lodge: "A little piece of paradise"
"Great place - pure luxury a couple of hundred kilometers north of Luang Prabang. The manager could not have done more to make us comfortable - the food is excellent - and if you need more then they can deal with that (if younger them know). It's not cheap - by Lsos standards - but compares very well with other luxury hotels. Breakfast was brilliant - for the Pain au Chocolat they must flythe flour in from France and have a real French oven. Go for it - you deserve it Stayed February 2017, traveled as a couple"Neeleshwar Hermitage: "Place to relax"
"We went there in Aug . We arrived early and the staff was very accomodative..they gave us room at 7 in the morning.Rooms are clean and have partially open baths, wooden floor and furniture give a elegant look. You can always walk down to beach, though not as good/clean when compared to others in kerala. They have a very good pool with great view of sea.Food is ok ,the chef is always ready for ur wishes. To sum up a good place to detox and relax and spend quality time with family."Chakrabongse Villas: "Four nights in Bangkok, and we could not wish for a nicer hotel"
"This year I turned 60 and decided on a holiday in Thailand, of course I had to include Bangkok. I found this amazing small characterful place not far from the Royal Palace and Wat Pho. The staff are the most helpful I have come across on the holiday. The room is lovely, Moroccan in style, the Mali room, like home from home for me as I have a lot of Moroccan influence in my house. It is the best place of our holiday. The grounds are peaceful and well kept with a salt water swimming pool. There are wonderful small touches everywhere with orchids and water lilies. The dining area is in a pavilion next to the river with a view of Wat Arun. The food was excellent and the wine list very good. I would stay here every time in Bangkok. The staff are knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble."
