Kinabalu Park: "A Paradise up in the hills"

Review by: ngsuaneng | Source: Trip Advisor
My cousin and I stayed at one of the units in Nepenthes Lodges managed by Sutera Sanctuary Lodges. The lodges are located right in the heart of the Unesco World Heritage Site. We had the luxury of a two storey lodge with two bed rooms, a balcony, a nice sitting room with a fire place and a kitchen. The place is well run. I would like to commend the manager, Alvina, who was very concerned about us after we checked in, as it was raining heavily. She made sure that our small requests, including room service, were met with great efficiency. From the lodge, we could see Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in Southeast Asia, and misty rain forest around us. It was so relaxing staying in the lodge and taking cool walks to see the flora and fauna in a natural setting. Temperature at this 5,200ft highland was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciate the good service.

Only stayed here one night but was a lovely way to camp .very cute tents with a private plunge pool .very private and peaceful located in the middle of rice paddies .resturant served excellent food .very clean ...only thing I could fault were the beds mattresses were a little to hard to sleep on but if only doing a night you can survive it .... Loved how each tent had a musical instrument which you had to play to get room service so much fun .....staff very nice ....all round a nice place to have some quite time ....

Tugu Malang: "Classic and Traditional"

Review by: adn88 | Source: tripadvisor.com
"What should I say about my amazing stay in Hotel Tugu Malang? The room was excellent. They even provided us with FREE high tea between 4-6PM and they served very very good Indonesian traditional cakes and desserts. They also gave us 10 minutes complimentary shoulder massage. This hotel is like a monument. They gave us a free tour of the hotel and so we can see different rooms offered. Unfortunately, we stayed only for a night. Definitely recommend this hotel if you go to Malang!! This is the best place to stay."

Satri House: "Most Lovely Stay"

Review by: Michael F | Source: Trip Advisor
"Go to Luang Prabang, a World Heritage City, and stay at this lovely, restored French colonial hotel. Every detail is carefully addressed, and the rooms are really charming. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is good, and bikes are provided to ride into town. It is a relaxing oasis in a beautiful town. Stayed July 2016, traveled solo"

Inle Princess Resort: "Best place to stay in Inle Lake"

Review by: Travel_Juerg | Source: Trip Advisor
We enjoyed staying at this resort as it was both quiet and remote yet close to busy lake and its wonderful sights. The locally recruited staff is great and makes you feel truly welcome. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel given the location and enjoyed our food every time.

GLENBURN TEA ESTATE: "Magical Space"

Review by: worldtraveledSeattle | Source: tripadvisor.com
"At the end of a long, bumpy ride from Bagdogra you arrive at a beautiful tea plantation set on a hill with day and night views in all directions. Will, Faye and the rest of the staff could not be more accommodating. From a wakeup tea or coffee in your room to three wonderful meals a day it is a special place. The staff will take you on a tour of the tea plantation and villages, hiking to the river, tours to Darjeeling - you name it. You are met at the airport and returned after your stay. We stayed three nights which was minimal to take it all in. Guides tell us that after the monsoon season the place is green and the mountains in full view. "

Tugu Lombok: "A little bit of paradise"

Review by: Valproct | Source: Trip Advisor
"We have just had a 4 night break at this lovely Hotel. It has all of the wow factors and the staff treated us like royalty. It is a wonderful place to have a peaceful break away from the stress of work or city life and highly recommended. A word of warning about travelling to Lombok. Try and get a direct flight. We travelled from Singapore via Jakarta and had to change terminals which was a nightmare. We were given conflicting information about baggage and terminal numbers, which was all very stressful. "

Nam Bo Boutique Hotel: "Excellent location"

Review by: Andrew M | Source: Trip Advisor
Stayed just one night here to do the early morning market trip. Rather than battle with all the hawkers we booked a boat with the hotel as they offered a private boat to visit the market and noodle factory for just 400VND for the two of us. The hotel is spotlessly clean and has very good service. We had a suite at the front of the hotel but the bedroom was quite isolated with no view which wasn’t a problem. They gave a welcome drink plus a voucher to have drink of your choice in the roof top bar. Breakfast was excellent served at our table on the front roof terrace. Only thing which was lacking was a pool but for a one night stop over it wasn’t a problematic Highly recommend.

Villa Song Saigon: "Relaxing 2-night stay at boutique"

Review by: sfalbie | Source: Trip Advisor
"We enjoyed our brief stay at VS. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. A bulleted summary: Pros: onsite spa (for such a small hotel), staff, number of guests/rooms, location away from congested and loud central HCMC, food, water taxi (albeit operating times), grounds Constructive feedback: elevator (4 stories), water taxi (limited to 9a-6p from hotel), buffet breakfast (ala carte portions large if want to sample multiple items)"

tugu malang: "Amazing and they know what GF means!"

Loved this place! Simply beautiful and charming! Every detail, every flower and candle was just perfect. The hotel is very clean and everybody is kind and helpful! We had dinner at the restaurant and I have to admit that I was a bit nervous telling them about my celiac disease and how they had to be careful! The menager himself discuss with me about what I could eat and how everything had to be done! I had an amazing dinner and a delicious breakfast!!! Rubby as well manage to treat us so well making us feel at home!!! Definetly a place to stay!!!
