MesaStila: "Relaxing getaway"
Beautiful place just like the photos. The rooms are nice, clean, in the middle of nature. There are a lot of activities to do in house from coffee plantation tour to yoga in the morning. The staffs are nice and made the experience exceptional, especially our coffee tour guide. What can be improved is perhaps food; it is not that it sucks but rather for such a nice resort we expected more. Wine by the glass at the restaurant wasn't great either and overall wine prices / corkage price are high. However I think the overall experience is great. Very relaxing. Would come back.Reverie Siam: "Stunning resort and great value"
"My friend and I traveled in Thailand for two weeks and this was by far our favorite resort. The staff is warm and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and allow you to appreciate Pai's beauty. Rooms are big and decorated perfectly. This is however not a traditional Thai resort. The decor and food is western, but don't let that deter you from going because the experience, food, and views are worth it. "Tugu Lombok: "Unique Antique Boutique Retreat"
"We were totally spoiled by the beauty and warm hospitality of this place. A feast for the eyes and senses. Park-like grounds littered with art and antique structures collected from around Indonesia. We had a spacious and comfortable villa room – (with a koi pond!). The beach is long enough for a good walk and there are two pools – one Olympic size that's good for doing laps to work up an appetite for the outstanding meals (we mostly ate off the local menu, sate, curries, grilled fish, street food breakfast – consistently excellent), wine by the glass is entirely drinkable and the martinis are good and dry (although they should shake and pour at the table so the ice flakes don’t melt). We had the relaxing Balinese style messages at the spa - the therapists were lovely, easy to communicate with and skilled. Our three night stay was hardly long enough. We’d go back in a heartbeat. Note: if you like cycling, go for a ride in the surrounding countryside – you’ll feel like a celebrity. The retail opportunities suggested by our driver from the hotel on the way to the airport are high quality and not tourist traps: a pearl gallery that has natural (not dyed) golden pearls special to Lombok and the weavers’ village offers high quality, authentic local weaving."Sandat Glamping Tents: "Heaven on earth"
Decadent, Eco friendly accommodation with a difference- I booked two of their tents which included private pools. My family spent one night. They provide a very flexible shuttle into Ubud, with wonderful drivers. We were picked up in Seminyak and the dropped to our next accommodation in Sanur, all preorganised via the internet- really a must do.Glenburn Tea Estate: "bliss"
We arrived at this beautiful place after a bumpy but breathtaking 6 hour drive from sikkim. . Faye, Will and Alex were there on the door step to greet us and we instantly felt like one of the family. The other guests were great fun..... mostly..... and it was really lovely to sit around the group table for dinner and listen to everyones travel stories. The food was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff. I have a fabulous massage in the little spa and the therapist eased away my aches and pains. Gin and tonics on the terrace overlooking the mountains and it really felt like a scene from Indian Summers. The rooms are gorgeous and after a week of homestays etc the beds were Bliss! There is a lot to do there and the staff are great at organising anything tailormade to suit your requirements. We went on to stay at the Tollygunge in Kolkata that they recommend and that was great in a completely different way. I could not recommend this wonderful hotel highly enough. i felt totally spoilt and loathe to leave Thanks again to Faye and the team for all their help. Room Tip: the one with the spanish wood four poster bed!Flower Island: "Pristine paradise!"
"We spent 2 nights at flower island resort and loved every minute! The corals surrounding the island are stunning and thriving with life. We saw a turtle on our first snorkelling just a few metres away from the beach. The visibility is great, around 20-25m and there is plenty of fish. Our cottage had a direct access onto the beach with a beautiful view (especially for sunset). The staff on the island is very friendly, they even prepared a last minute dance show for us on our last evening there. We also had the chance to visit one of the pearl farms nearby, a fascinating industry. This place is a true paradise, we did not want to leave. Thank you flower island resort for such an amazing time."Cabochon Hotel & Residence: "Excellent Boutique Hotel"
Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Cabochon Hotel during our recent trip to Bangkok. Everything from the unique and interesting design, the amazing gin and tonic bar, the rooftop pool with great views of the city, the quiet location, the excellent restaurant and the extremely helpful and friendly staff made our visit very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel. Also try the French toast for breakfast. It was delicious.MesaStila: "Boutique Villa in Javanese Style"
Heard the story from staff that a Spanish lady built this place and all the villas were moved from somewhere in Central Java so that all villas are unique. I joined the coffee plantation trip and liked it. Also I bought one pack of coffee beans from gift shop, which was quite nice actually.Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Amazing Experience on Peacock Safari"
Fantastic. Despite not seeing any leopards (which is very unlucky so we have heard) my family and I had a lovely time. The food was beyond delicious, the staff were so attentive (one staff member per guest) and while it was camping, the set up made it feel very luxurious. The 5am wake-ups were a challenge but were balanced by the yummy breakfast we received on return, and the fun of the safari. We stayed over NYE and the staff made sure to make it a special evening- celebrating a "Singapore" NYE with Moet at 9pm due to our early wake up the next morning. We were even treated to an amazing "leopard dance" by Silva. He was a staff member who is an ex dancer and it was phenomenal! The Island Lodge: "Excellent"
Loved this place with the super friendly staff, the welcoming owner, the huge room, the tour which we took and was guided by an excellent guide. I highly recommend for a couple of days after the busy Ho Chi Min City, it’s like a peaceful heaven. They were very flexible on check out timing too and let us stay for a couple of more hours.
