Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Such a great addition to our honeymoon"

What an amazing experience, and so great to see that everywhere we turned, the camp was working to conserve the environment. Whether it be the tents surrounded by trees or the supply of clean drinking water into glass bottles, it is visible to see that Noel, Cecile and the team are really working alongside our environment, not against it. We were able to see all animals, except the sloth bear (which we didn't mind missing out on, due to their elusive nature), and only participated in 3 of the 4 game drives (due to wanting quiet time during our honeymoon). The staff are amazingly helpful and courteous and knowledgeable, and will even run to your rescue at midnight if you hear something in the bushes as there's mobile phones provided for anything of the like. The traditional food is nothing short of AMAZING! My husband is the fussiest eater and was a tad worried beforehand to say the least, but enjoyed almost everything put in front of him and not once went hungry (quite the opposite!). The honeymoon tent was a little out of our budget, so we chose to stay in the 'normal' couple tent, however were definitely not disappointed. I'm definitely going to have trouble getting my husband to come 'normal' camping again! It's very comfortable, spacious and 'glamorous' for bush standards! And perhaps the coolest part was meeting so many incredible people from around the world who were there too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As you can see - highly recommend for anyone visiting Sri Lanka :)

Rachamankha: "Oasis in the midst of Old City"

Your stay in Chiang Mai will be very special when you stay at Rachamankha. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, gorgeous antiques abound throughout, and the guest rooms are spacious and well designed. There is a huge pool with beautiful blue tile, a library offering books as well as brandy, and a restaurant that offers wonderful Asian and Western dishes. The property provides a very peaceful and tranquil environment and children are not allowed as guests to maintain the ambiance for adults. There is a large DVD library available for free viewing. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Please note, it may be hard for taxi drivers to find as it is on a small lane/alleyway - my first driver had to call the hotel 4 times before finally finding it! But it was well worth the effort.

The Village House: "Fabulous retreat-you must stay here!"

"We stayed at The Village house in mid August this year (2015), and we loved every minute of our stay. The rooms are luxurious, wonderfully comfortable and thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. The hotel itself is stunning, everything has been done for you to effortlessly enjoy the stunning surroundings and allow you to fully relax. We took lots of trips from The Village House, all of which were excellent and extremely hassle free. We ate in the restaurant every day and never had a bad meal, again a really thoughtfully put together menu and everything was fabulous. The greatest accolade goes tot eh staff, they are amazing, made us feel very welcome and at home, fantastic experience."

SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "A sanctuary of Yangon"

If you seek a retreat from the hustles of busy Yangon, Seeds is definitely the place you have to go to. Not only the unique ambience and very friendly & professional staff convinces every visitor, it's the heart that Luzia and Felix invest into every single detail. The chef's creations are beyond wonderful in taste and decoration, Felix's truffle ravioli another heart melting surprise. Don't miss it and enjoy your meal :-)

Tugu Lombok: "Wir hatten eine phantastische Zeit!"

"Das Tugu Hotel liegt sehr einsam am Sire Beach auf Lombok. Wir hatten für einen Aufenthalt von 5 Nächten eine Svarga Villa gebucht. Die einzelnen Villas verteilen sich über ein sehr großes Gelände, welches direkten Strandzugang hat. In den Pool-Villas hat man direkten Meerblick. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und das Tugu gehört zu den TOP-Hotels, in denen wir jemals übernachtet haben. Das Servicepersonal ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit und man wird in der ganzen Anlage immer mit dem Namen angesprochen (was für mich nach wie vor rätselhaft ist, wie das funktionieren kann :) ) Das Frühstück wird á la Carte serviert, was sicher etwas Zeit in Anspruch nimmt, dafür aber unglaublich lecker und frisch ist. Außerdem hat man keine zeitliche Beschränkung für das Frühstück...also auch frühstücken mittags um 12 geht! Die einzelnen Villas sind alle individuell eingerichtet und man kann überall auf dem Gelände und in der Villa sehr schöne Antiquitäten entdecken. Einziges kleines Manko: beim Abendessen ist man eigentlich auf das Restaurant im Hotel angewiesen, da es in der Umgebung keine Restaurants gibt. Das Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant ist sehr lecker und die Umgebung ist sehr stilvoll (ehemaliger Fürstenpalast). Wir haben im Hotel auch einen individuellen Ausflug gebucht: Wanderung durch die Reisterrassen und zum Wasserfall. Das war unglaublich schön und perfekt organisiert. Den Transfer hat das hoteleigene Fahrzeug mit Fahrer durchgeführt. Achtung für die Anreise: wenn Sie von Bali kommen, nutzen Sie am Besten das Speedboot, dann sind Sie innerhalb 15 Minuten von der Anlegestelle beim Hotel. Der Flughafen ist sehr weit entfernt (ca. 2 Stunden Autofahrt!). Herzlichen Dank nochmals an das Team und das Management des Tugu Hotels! Wir haben uns wirklich sehr sehr wohl gefühlt!"

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "A haven outside Pokhara"

Have stayed in TIger Mountain Pokhara Lodge a couple of times and it will be returned to. It is situated in a high position on the top of a hill affording the most wonderful views of the Annapurna range. The lodge is a place of calm, has beautifully designed rooms, a pool in a stunning setting where you can swim facing the Himalayas and the food provided is consistently the best I have had in the area. Various activities are available or you can read by the wonderful pool.

Villa Song Saigon: "An Oasis of Calm and Luxury"

My wife, son and I stayed five nights at the Villa Song and it was a FANTASTIC hotel. The staff were attentive and extremely helpful. The speed boat to and from Ho chi Minh was a fun and exciting way to get into and out of the city. If I had a complaint, it was that the hotel was so comfortable and relaxing that one felt slightly disinclined to venture into the mayhem of Ho chi Minh! Sitting at breakfast, either in or outdoors, watching the traffic passing on the river are memories I will treasure. If you want a hotel where you are spoilt, relaxed and pampered I STRONGLY recommend the Villa Song.

Supanniga Cruise: "Excellent food with a view"

A great place to have an exclusive dinner on a cruise. Great food served with an excellent team always ready to serve. A pleasant evening with a great view. Will be there again!

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "Fantastic for Birders and Animal Lovers"

I recently experienced a safari that lived up to its expectations. I am a birder and saw 100 species of birds with Saj , an experienced guide in the birding world and animals alike. We had 5 sightings of leopards, elephants, jackal, spotted deer, water buffalo, monkeys and mongoose . The food was beautifully presented and was nutritious. At the end of each safari we were greeted with a cold drink and a refreshing cold cloth with lemongrass. This was a safari that I wished would never end.

Tugu Bali: "excellent boutique hotel"

"This hotel is exceptional; excellent service, very responsive staff. I informed the staff about my plans of the day; and they accommodated us and even anticipated our needs; the staff is very responsive. Breakfast is excellent, pool is nice and private. The common grounds are exotic All rooms with ocean view ( second floor) have a spiral staircase to enter. The patio ( balcony?) is large, but no A/C( thus a little warm in March) you are asked to close the windows in order to avoid the wildlife. Lovely garden, lotus pond; very very nice experience. My only caveat is that this great hotel is now surrounded by a recent development of bars catering to the young surfers. The music can be a little loud until the wee hours ( 3-4 AM).
