Supanniga Cruise: "Wonderful romantic dinner cruise"
The Supanniga cruise is not like the other cruises on the river. It’s not a party / karaoke boat! It’s quiet, relaxing and romantic and the food is excellent. The food is cooked on the boat - there is no buffet thank goodness! It’s very comfortable with only a small number of tables. The champagne dinner cruise is really worth the money. You can sip your freshly made cocktail and cringe when the noisy party boats go past! The staff are excellent too. They know the best photo spots and will happily take your picture! Highly recommended!NEELESHWAR: "Heavenly peace!"
"Everything about the Hermitage was wonderful - the room, the bed, the pillows, the care taken to make sure everything was perfect, the food, the off site activities offered ( alt bought these were expensive) Forewarned, we had pre- ordered full board to avoid a large bill at the end so that worked out well. Highlight was a trip to the jungle to see a Theyam ceremony. Unforgettable! The sea was like a warm bath, the food and company and the pool were all excellent. One recommendation though - mosquito burners in the spa reception area. Can't wait to return - think about it every day! "Reverie Siam: "THE place to stay and dine in PAI"
"Sublime comes to mind. I have stayed here before, I have dined here before and I will again, I almost don't wnt to share this good news with you all as it is getting harder and harder to book but well it's a place that has to be shared. From the family that designed, built and manage Reverie to the team the take care of you they really cannot do enough to share their home with you...and what a home. There can no better place to be than sat in their bar and restaurant, enjoying a long cool drink looking out across green fields to the river and mountains beyond and slipping into Pai time...truly a place for reverie. I joined a dinner party by the river here too, 40 of us, a demanding crowd no doubt but faultless service. Delightful setting, great food (you have to try their tapas) and a superb musician to accompany dinner - guitar and keyboard player, brilliant...actually Pai has quite a lively music scene, even one of the owners at Reverie is a drummer with a local band."MesaStila: "I Love This Resort"
"I had a wonderful time at this hidden jem of Indonesia. This Central java's coffee-plantation-turned-resort is so lovely. I just loved every minute I spent there and hated the moment I had to leave the resort. Villa was nicely done in Javanese style, food was good (serving tended to be on a slow side, though - may be suitable for a leisurely resort time?), service was responsive, attentive and nicely done, the place was kept very neat and clean. The place with 22 hectare coffee plantation is something must see. I learned a lot about my favorite drink called coffee here. Thank you for all the service that made my stay wonderful. Keep at it!"Amata Lanna: "Great place to stay"
the amata Lanna is a lovely boutique hotel with twelve beautifully furnished Lanna Thai rooms around a pool and courtyard. The location is close to the Ping river entertainment district, the Loi Kroh road and the night market. The staff are friendly and helpful and even delivered birthday cake to my room - unbidden - as they had noted the date on my passport when I checked in. Would definitely stay there again.Golden Buddha Beach Resort: "That deserted beach we all hunger for"
"This amazing place is definitely an effort to reach. We organised a car from Surat Thani train station, which was pricey (3000 Baht - ""Cheaper Than Hotel taxi Khao Lak"" -but still undercuts other taxis) but ensured we made it to Khuraburi Pier correctly as options appeared limited. Golden Buddha organised long tail boat to and from resort but at 2000 Baht each way, it's not cheap either. The boat trip is a tour in itself, crossing mangrove swamps and weaving between islands. Due to high tides we had to get a 4x4 across Ko Phra Thong to resort but that just added to experience. Resort consists of many privately owned cabins along a 1Km stretch just back from beach (which is 12Km long and almost completely deserted!). Massi, the Italian manager was simply amazing. Extremely welcoming, engaging, considerate, just brilliant and added to trip. Our cabin, Baan Coco was nice although limited view. Unlimited water, lovely room, invigorating semi-outdoor shower and wildlife galore. Incredibly quiet so don't come if you want bustling night life! Only single option for dinner (aside nice beach pizza bar) so went half board. Food was very nice and predominantly Thai style. Changed menu each night. Thoroughly recommend trekking tour of Ko Ra, the jungle island next door, which was fantastic (prepare to have to swim!). Ultimately wonderful stay at a place that really does feel at the far edge of Thailand!"Locavore: "Best in Bali"
Melbourne foodies giving it 4 stars. Fantastic food and service. All I can say is when in Ubud it's the best you'll find. Try it!Sea Dance Resort: "Simply amazing."
I arrived at koh samui airport to meet family that were staying at the wonderfull sea dance resort. I was greeted by my aunt and a staff member. Ash. What a lovely guy. So freindly and warm. I was taken to the sea dance resort and from there on it was the best beginning to a holiday I could have hoped for. Poy the owner whom I met the first night made me feel like a long lost family member. I have never felt more at home and welcomed in a hotel ever. These guys just made everyone feel at ease. Other guests in my eyes were so at ease due to the way the staff were. Every one smiled at each other and were freindly to each other. Special mention to faith Helen and Danny. Fantastic people. I wish I could have stayed longer and learnt everyone's names.Heck I wish I lived there. I have to go back one day for longer. the I will miss these guys sincerely.SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Cook to Perfection!"
There is no available words to describe what dinning in this restaurant is! From the setting, going to the service and finaly the food itself is everything designed to perfection! You will, for sure have a grand time in this restaurant! Everything is freshly homemade! You got to have a go!Heritage Suites: "Really lovely"
"A fabulous boutique hotel with one of the nicest rooms/suites I have ever stayed in. The service was so friendly and yet not ingratiating. The pool setting was shaded by beautiful foliage. Food was really nice. Our whole stay was delightful."
